Got to try the Dettol Glen 20 as part of the kidspot trial. I loved the fresh smell of it, and it’s uses are unlimited!. I have used it to deodorize my curtains after I cooked a strong curry. I used it on my sons bed when he was ill. I used it near the dogs blanket and it was great at keep the smells away. also works really well for surviving when the Husband farts in the bedroom
Good for keeping the rubbish bin lid germ free and really good for quickly spraying door handles when the flu is going around the house. would I buy it? absolutely I would.
Thanks for the opportunity to trial Glen20. I’ve always wanted to try it but wasn’t sure if it was worth it. I have found it great to use all over the house. I spray on the sink when the drains get a bit smelly especially the waste master. It keeps it smelling fresh. I also use in the shower traps as for some reason they get smelly in our new house even though they get a regular cleaning. It works well to keep those smelling fresh for a few days. Also great for sptaruinh around the toilet area. It’s great to spray on the bins too. I will be purchasing in the future.
This arrived the morning out kitchen decided to miss its litter box & go on my wooden floor instead!! So I used on my wooden floor (against instructions) but didn’t let it sit. I wiped off with a wet cloth a few times over. Cat urine smell gone easily & peace of mind that germs were gone also! I like to spray other surfaces that the cat likes to hang around in also like the couches & dining room chairs.
Great on light switches & door handles with the winter months & cold season just ending.
Very handle on the toilet as the spray form gets into all the gaps.
I used regularly on my kitchen benches. I just sprayed the stainless steel and left to dry.
The spray was handy to spray down toddlers toys & highchair once & while before wiping them down.
I am not a fan of the crisp linen scent as I found the smell quite overpowering. Very discenfectant clean smelling. better than cat wee though! And I think I would prefer such a product to have a safety lock on the cap even if it is being safely stored in my lockable cupboard.
Other than that a great product that I seemed to have used everywhere! I love all the germs it states to eliminate-So many!
The Dettol Glen 20 arrived at a very useful time, my daughter has not long started school so is bringing lots of bugs home and with having a baby also its not ideal! She actually ended up getting a really nasty virus (ended up in hospital) so I used the spray as a room spray after she had left the room which she had been resting in. Especially the couch which was really good as it didn’t ‘wet’ the couch as it dried so quickly in the hopes to combat some of the nasties!
I also used it on door handles and anything like that that she was touching in the hopes to stop the spread through the family.
It was great to use on the toilet too as with it being a spray it got into all the kooks and crannies unlike other disinfectants.
Really impressed with how much is in the can… Ive used it ALOT and it still feels like the can is full so that was really good… value for money.
HOWEVER… I was disappointed with the smell of it… Crisp Linen… I expected it to smell more like sheets that had been on the line in the sun for the day. The smell did grow on me though the more I used it; It is quite a strong/over powering smell though.
I love this product, We were already users of it before the trial but I hadn’t tried the other scents so was pleased to receive the crisp linen scent. Honestly I spray this sometimes just before people come over to make sure the house smells clean and nice haha, it smells good!
It’s so good, especially with a 6 year old boy using the toilet and bathroom and always touching all the doorways and walls (why do they have to swing on and touch all of the things?!).
Also fantastic for things like remote controls, mobile phones and light switches. I can skip a thorough clean of things and just spray this around when I’m in a hurry.
I especially recommend it when colds and flu’s hit the home. It’s so nice to be able to quickly and easily disinfect areas, especially if you as the parent have also been hit and all you want to do is mope around like the rest of the household but you can’t because then everyone would die.
I love being able to spray furnishings and clothing/footwear too. I bought a handbag while overseas and it had a really bad odour. I washed it and aired it to no avail. But Dettol Glen 20 disinfectant spray worked a treat. I’ve also used it on stinky shoes! I also love that it works on mould and mildew. Haven’t tested that yet as haven’t had to but it’s good to know.
Oh meant to also say that it sprays easily and the only downside was the crisp linen scent comes in a smaller can than the original, which is a shame because I really like it but will probably continue to buy the original most of the time as it’s better value.
Apologies for the late review but i have been trailing this product on a lot of surfaces! First up was our toddler triplets eating area which is in our small dining/lounge area, i found the fragrance overpowering in such a small area. So on to area 2 was door handles and cupboard handles around the kitchen and entrances to our house, i made sure the areas were well ventilated and was a great reassurance to know my house was mostly germ free during flu season (probably should do this daily?). Area 3 which i found fantastic was our back porch where our dogs (stinky dogs) hang out…….. this area smelt pleasant for approx 3-4 days. This product was a win in my books!
Been using my Dettol Glen 20 spray for over a week now (crisp linen fragrance). Such a lovely surprise when it arrived! Have used it on table tops, around rubbish bins (including the dreaded nappy bin!), kitchen counters, bathroom sinks and even the kitchen floor. The gorgeous scent is wonderfully fresh, leaves every room smelling clean and eleminates nasty odours easily. I love that it isn’t sudsy or foamy like some spray cleaners, yet still manages to easily dissolve dirt so that it just wipes away. Best thing is knowing it kills 99% of germs and viruses, very important with little ones with sniffly noses in the house! Definately a quality product, am keen to try the other fragrances, too. Yahoo yahoo I tried my Dettol Glen 20 Crisp Linen on the weekend, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it… fast, easy to use with a non intrusive or over powering smell.. you know it’s been used and dries super fast which I also love, and no residue either!!! I used it in the Bathroom and again all over the rubbish bin…. it removed smelly oder and small spray all over the bench and no time to wipe it and it really surprised me that it didn’t even need wiping down as no slippery foamy residue. Big tick from me.. definitely will be buying this again, and will be telling family n friends if they want a good, decent Disinfect Spray that delivers and cuts cleaning, sanitizing time down then they NEEEEED to buy Dettol Glen 20.

My package arrived yesterday morning and I was very impressed to see the correct flammable goods paperwork.. it was very very well packed due to the flammable product.. I took out Crisp Linen and was very very happy to see it was a multi use disinfectant spray!!!! Useful as we are moving from this small damp Unit.. lots of Mold on the windowsill and bathroom walls.. wow Dettol you have out done yourself, killing nasties stains Salmonella, Staphylococcus, E.coli and even Rotavirus plus quite a lot more nasties wow wow wow I’m totally impressed.. spec since lots of germs and virus going around at the moment. My wee 5 Year old is quite sick with an Ear infection at the moment, so having this Glen 20 Crisp Linen to spray bench surfaces and bathrooms has arrived at the right time for me… I used for first time today on our rubbish bin as it can get messy and stinky at times.. loved that it dried pretty much straight away and no need to wipe off.. even as a Air Freshener too, and I’m a Happy Mummy knowing it’s killing yuk germs at the same time… will be trying it out on the weekend when have more time to myself to clean.. will post another review after the weekend.. thanks thanks again for choosing this family…
Thank you for letting me trial the Glen 20 surface spray, I received the crisp linen spray, and having been using it on everything, I have used on my sons shin pads and gloves from sparring, and it has thankfully killed the sweaty fight smell after his training, it is great for this, also I have used on a moldy spot in the boys room, that after I cleaned sprayed with this spray, and it has so far kept the mold away, fingers crossed. I sprayed the dogs bedding the couch, the toilet area, and this spray is fantastic at removing odors, this is a product that I will be definitely buying as a household essential. I highly recommend this product.
This product couldn’t have come at a better time as my son got a tummy bug. The spray was quickly put to use especially on door handles and the toilet around the flushing mechanism. It made disinfecting things quick and easy in the middle of the night and gave us peace of mind that we could kill off germs without fully wiping anything down.
I also use this a lot when I prepare chicken and might touch the rubbish bin handle disposing of the packaging.
I have now starting using it to spray the dish cloth and the laundry sink.
I got the crisp linen fragrance. A nice smell without being overpowering.

Wow! This product has been a life saver in our home.
We received crisp linen and I personally like the smell. It’s perfect at eliminating the smells from the previous nights dinner as well as the boys stinky feet smells.
I used it on the bench, rubbish bins, door handles, couch etc. You name it, I sprayed it.
It leaves the home feeling germ free and smelling clean.

2 weeks ago, upon receiving this product, I used this product to clean my dog’s bed and today it still does not smell. Normally after a couple of days, a doggy smell would return but there’s nothing. I am really impressed.
I have also used this product, to clean our rubbish bins and there hasn’t been any smells outta those either since.

I really like this product, such an easy way to get peace of mind when you have kids and germs -(which all houses have) I have sprayed the bin, door handles, taps, all of the high use items that often are overlooked when you have a busy life! My son recently had school sores the doctor said be prepared for everyone else in our house to get it. I used the dettol spray on door handles, light switches, toys and no one else got it. Great for spraying on those high traffic areas where germs are. A must have for winter. Great for spraying the dog crate too

We have been trialling the Dettol Glen20 spray in crisp linen and I absolutely LOVE it!!
First impressions were that it was packaged quite nicely in an easy to use and attractive spray bottle. I must admit I was expecting it to smell fake and chemically as so many cleaning products do… boy was I surprised !! It smells so fresh and so clean and just so good!
We have 2 dogs who are inside doggies and so our house can quite often smell like dog. I have tried all manner of smelly things from odour neutralisers to super expensive candles… the Dettol Glen20 beats them all! It’s so brilliant that I can simply spray it over the dog beds and instantly that doggie smell disappears! The best thing is that it disinfects as well so I now don’t feel I need to worry when my toddler starts trying to clamber into them!
I am quite a germophobe and have a phobia of vomiting and nausea so germs are a big trigger of my anxiety. I spend a small fortune on antibacterial wipes and sprays and spend a lot of time using them to wipe down everything. This product has saved me so much time and will save me a whole lot of money in the future. I spray it over literally everything and feel comfortable that it has killed any germs !!

Dettol Glen 20 Crisp Linen 175g Spray Can!
I found this product really practical and easy to use. It was an easy altrrnative to having to get the steam mop out so many times a day. We have a puppy who is toilet training so it was the go to product whenever there was an accident. We used this on vinyl floors and found it was more of a dry spray so didn’t take too much wiping to get the surface dry. Previous spray products we had used left the surface slippery as it required extra wiping.
I also used this on aluminium windows and found it great. Left the surface clean.
I felt The product size (175g) is a little on the small side and would have preferred a larger can.
The fragrance is nice and fresh but definitely not overpowering.
I will be adding to our grocery list!

I had a very unfortunate event where one of my delightful cats did a runny poop on the carpet. So I thought what better way to test Dettol glen 20. So I wiped away all the “chunky” and then sprayed Dettol glen 20 onto the area and there is no smell and no visible mark where the accident happened.

Firstly the fragrance – Crisp Linen was such a clean smell but not overly powerful so I want to use it all the time. Its great as an air freshner after lingering cooking smells and also great for quickly spraying after sick toddler.
Such an easy product to use and with so many multi purpose ideas its definitely going to be a regular staple in my cupboard.

Thanks for allowing me to trial the product. After carefully reading through the instructions it stated that it should not be sprayed on wooden benchtops and as our kitchen benchtops are wooden i used it other areas of the house. The first mess was spilt raw chicken juice all over the kitchen floor. It was perfect for spraying the floor and cleaning up the mess. I had piece of mind knowing that any raw chicken bacteria was more than likely destroyed in the clean up. In addition, the spray-Fresh Linen was lovely and it didn’t leave the floor greasy. We received a can of the Crisp Linen Spray and trialed it out straight away by spraying it on the clean kitchen bench. I was most impressed that I could still smell the fresh linen scent the following morning. I love knowing my house is clean and disinfected by a well known brand – Dettol. Will definitely buy again in the future. So easy and simple to safely disinfect the house.
To add – Pics are being posted above and the Fragrance was Crisp Linen, I loved the smell, no chemical smells and very fresh and clean. LOved it!!
Thank you Kidspot for another introduction to an amazing product… We were so excited to trial this one as we have a toddler and a crawling baby who chews u everything. This is such an innovative idea from Dettol(Who i already trust from years of experience) The amount of germs and disease this spray fights off is unbelievable but oh so true. Dettol has stood the test of time and I know alot of mums who trust the brand. I started off trying it with our tv and sky remotes cos they get over handled and bitten and dropped… I found the spray was quite powerful but left the remote controls very wet, i am not sure how this would impact in the long run in terms of liquid going between the keys and into the appliance.. So i would suggest a light misting spray to the company as i think it sprays out way too much… Other than that though the remotes felt and looked clean and brand new.. I also tried it on the house phone, still very wet but cleaned it thoroughly. I have sprayed on our window sills which get mouldy and was pleased with the result. All in all an amazing product which i hope is going for a reasonable price. Packaging is spot on for a Dettol Brand, ITs uses are endless and its protection unmatched.. I am impressed and will invest in more in the future as well as recommend to other mummys.

And I can honestly say that Glen 20 is a great support in cleaning up and disinfecting dirty areas. And not only does it leave those areas smelling fresh and clean, but you can relax knowing that it cleans up most nasty germs, such as E. coli and Salmonella choleraesuis. We use it to clean around our kitchen rubbish bin as well, which is an area that needs to be cleaned well.

We received the Dettol Glen 20 Crisp Linen which is a similar fragrance (clean linen) to the air freshener we currently buy.
The first job our glen 20 spray had to contend with was on some areas of (cleaned up) vomit in a classroom. I’m a relief teacher and I went in to school on the Monday, and a poor student vomited in the class and hallway. The lovely caretaker cleaned it up for us but I took the glen 20 in on Tuesday and sprayed it on all affected areas.
Not only did it make the class smell lovely, but it also gave me some peace of mind that it would help prevent the rest of the class (and myself) from getting sick. No more vomiting for the rest of the week – phew!
We have an air freshener in our toilet but it isn’t a disinfectant so again I felt better knowing that the glen 20 was helping to prevent the spread of germs (at least as much as it can when you’re dealing with young children ;-).
The other main area we used ithe glen 20 was in the entry way, where all the lovely wet and muddy shoes, soccer boots and gum boots are stored. We’ve had quite a bit of wet weather lately so this has been perfect for getting rid of the wet mouldy smell and making the entrance smell more inviting.
The family and I are very happy with the fragrance of the crisp linen and I’m especially keen on the disinfectant side of things. We currently use many other Dettol products but will also be adding this one to our shopping list in future. I may need to buy an extra can to put in my teaching bag too :-).
