We have since purchased this product. It has been fantastic in my teenagers bathroom and especially their bedroom. We use it in our other bathrooms. It has also eliminated the smell of cat pee from a naughty cat that visits. Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product.
Absolutely loved using Dettol Glen surface spray! We’ve received the crisp.linen to trial. Lovely scent. Not overpowering. I was very happy to get the chance to review the dettol glen 20 spray. We have a grubby sticky fingered toddler and a slobbery dog to help put it too the test! I used it on everything I could think of bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms on door handles, dining chairs and table legs fridge door the list goes on. After using it everything feels clean and fresh. I would definitely recommend to others and will be buying some myself for sure it’s a big thumbs up from me!
I was waiting for illness to hit our house to give this a go, but so far we’ve been healthy! I’m not complaining about that. I used the spray to clean our kitchen tidy, and it has a very pleasant fragrance. I’ll keep it on hand for the inevitable bugs.
One of the products each household should have! Just for everything, making things germ free and at the same time the smell is very pleasant. We have had quite a few colds around our house and using this product, im pretty sure about it, stopped the bugs from spreading. I used it inside but also in our car. I have wanted to try this product so wad very happy to get it. I don’t know if it ‘worked’ but i love the feeling of knowing that things were clean and santised. It was great how you can spray it on soft furnishings aswell. The smell was pleasant. I am diffently going to buy this again. Thank you for the trial. Great product. We got the clean linen. I didn’t like the smell. Was a bit over powering but would buy the product in a different scent. Quick and easy for cleaning with little boys especially around the toilet and door handles
This was a awesome product! Great for odours and as others have said definitely doesnt have a overpowering smell. Great for using on mould on the net curtains and with kids who have seem to be constantly sick this winter i spray it on all door handles benches etc. Love how it is such a multi use product. have a small amount left then will definitely be buying some more
This product come in the nick of time in our house! With a husband that works at a busy hospital and 2 teenagers we’ve had the flu for nearly 2 months! This was a easy product to use in the bathroom, kitchen and in our lounge. It was pleasant smelling, with was awesome because other products like this can be very overpowering.

So it’s spring, we have just changed our daughter’s daycare and my hubby is a primary school teacher- as you can imagine, this is a recipe for nearly constant coughs, colds and germs in our house. So, I have never been more grateful to receive a product to test than when this bottle of Dettol Glen 20 was dropped off at our door.
Since its arrival I have really put it through its paces. It has been used on school/daycare bags, doors, the car and all over in the bathroom. We have used it on both hard and soft surfaces- daughter throws up on the couch? No problem, wipe down and the Glen 20 over the top- all signs of odour gone to be replaced with the clean but not coverpowering crisp linen scent which we trialled, and no loss of colour or residue like other cleaners. Cat pees on the floor (we have bare floorboards- don’t you love pets…..)? No problem, get all of the excess moisture up and eith a spray of Glen 20 the smell is gone and the cat hasn’t gone back to the same pleace like they have with other cleaning products before. Daughter gets eye infection? Spray copious amounts of spray over everything she touches until it heals (obviously alongside proper hand and body hygiene practices and antibiotics), and no-one else caught it which I was very very happy and impressed with. Mould spots on the curtains that you’ve only just discovered hpand have probably been there all winter? No problem- Glen 20 stopped the spread, so all that remains is a little bit of staining. I have also found it great around the cat litter tray- I know that the area is sanitised and clean without having to scrub for ages and leave in the sun. The added bonus is that it also leaves them smelling lovely and fresh.
Overall, and I cannot state this strongly enough, this product has been a godsend over the past few weeks. I don’t quite know what I would have done without it, but I’m pretty sure that there would have been a lot more gerns spread around the house. Overall, I believe that a product like this is an essential to every house. You know that it will work, it’s simple to use (even in the middle of the night) and it doesn’t leave any residue. I will not be without this product ever again- I am definetly a Glen 20 convert!
I loved this spray to use after the surface wipes I have. I thought it had a clean fragrance and made everything seem like it was “finished” and clean. Its also great for after the kids have had their sticky/germy fingers everywhere and I was worried about the others using the room. I liked it in the bathroom but was not brave enough to use it on my wood. The other place it was great was the garage which was just seeming a bit grubby and this perked it up after a good wipe.
Thanks for letting me trial this Dettol Glen spray. It came in handy, as we had bought a second hand desk for my daughter and found one of the drawers was quite mouldy. So we decided to give the Dettol spray a go. We actually used the Dettol wipes we have to clean it all down and then we sprayed it with the Dettol spray. It gave it a lovely smell, but we have also not seen any mould come back. I have also used it in my work shoes as they end up smelling pretty bad as well!!!! Would recommend Dettol spray to those wanting to kill mould, or to make wet/smelly/bacteria items smell better y killing the bacteria inside them!
I love this product – i have used it in two different places. 1st was the car seat – even though i had a seat protector on it it still got a bit smelly. I sprayed this on and left to dry and it fixed the problem immediately. Even several weeks later still no smell – amazing. I also used it on the carpet in our spare room where our foster cats had been living. Took that kitty litter smell right out. Will make sure it is on my shopping list from now on so i always have it on hand. Smell was nice too – not too overpowering and didnt smell like toilet freshner
awesome product. I have been selling my sons old toys and have been spraying al of them to disinfect before I send them away. Also I babysat a friend’s sick boy who kept coughing everywhere so it was perfect to spray all he surfaces to ensure we didn’t get sick too.
Best product ever! I have been using it in the kitchen and bathroom. Great on the benchtops and awesome on every surface in the bathroom. Goes on easily, comes off easily. No sticky residue left over, just a beautiful clean surface. And the smell is devine (crisp linen). My husband loves it too. We will definitely purchase one when this one runs out. Thank you so much for the opportunity to trial this product! Arrived at the perfect time as winter bugs were hitting our household pretty hard. It had a pleasant smell which surprised hubby we had tried a similar product and he absolutely could not stand the smell. We had a the crisp linen which left a very pleasant smell. Was perfect for kitchen, toilet and bathroom. I loved being about to spray the toilet and shower after cleaning especially during bug season. Went around the house using it on all the door handles as part of my regular cleaning routine. Will definitely be buying this once my sample runs out.
With a pleasant fragrance I used this product on Many surfaces inside my car,on grime around taps I found it particularly good there.On the stainless steel benches in the Kitchen the wooden table in the dining room I found that I could use it every where.I would but this when my sample runs out.
This was a Godsend as we recently moved and it helped with my cleaning. I didn’t choose the scent but I got Crisp Linen and it was definitely amazing. I like it and am a fan of this Dettol Spray. Good thing I checked the instructions though as I almost used it on a wooden surface. That’s probably the con for this product. I think this might be more cost efficient in terms of usage compared to the Dettol Disinfectant Wipes. But these two products did come in a good time – they work in their own way. I used the wipes on wooden surfaces instead. Thanks Kidspot and Dettol did deliver.

I trialled detrol glen 20 and t is fabulous 4 weeks and no mould it is gone
I cleaned all the Windows and sills with the product as we have a condensation problem and all got mouldy and yucky and this just erased it
I also used in the bathroom area and what a clean fresh result
The clean linen smell is also fab as it makes everything smell so fresh and clean

The kitchen feels and smells fresh every time we finish up our cleaning using the Surface Spray. We also have peace of mind that everything’s been disinfected which is essential with a 5 yr old grabbing off snacks from the bench whenever he pleases. Highly recommended and will definitely buy for the house when we’re done with our sample.
I loved this!!! I used it in the bathroom and toilet after cleaning it, it gave a nice fragrance and smelt clean haha. I also used it on my mattress. I striped the bed and while airing my bed i sprayed the dettol glen 20 surface spray disinfectant over the mattress and left it for a couple of hours before i put the clean sheets back on. The fragrance of the spray came through the sheets. I also used it on all the door handles in the house It didn’t leave any marks. I highly recommend this product and will be regularly purchasing the product in the future.
First let me say I’m not the type to go around disinfecting everything in the house so this isn’t something I would usually buy. Honestly though, it will be now! I have found multiple uses for it but the most useful is spraying the toilet seat! I have a 4 year old that has to prop herself up on the toilet by putting her hands on the side of the seat – a bit yuck right? This product is great for being super quick and easy to spray over the clean seat and know it’s germ free. I have a 2 year old boy who will start toilet training soon so keeping that seat clean and sanitised is really important. I can definitely recommend the linen scent it smells clean and fresh without being too strong or artificial. It also does a great job of dealing with ‘other smells’ without just mingling with them. I’m really glad to be part of this trial as I have been introduced to a product that I will keep buying and keep using. Thank you!
Thank you so much for choosing us to trial this Dettol Glen 20 Spray. We received Crisp Linen. It smells really good. Soo clean. The size of the aerosol is just right, easy to handle and use. I got to work spraying this on every surface as when we received it, my son and I had horrible colds so there would’ve been germs everywhere. I do want to say, my husband and my son never picked up this nasty cold off my son and I. I do believe it was because I was spraying this germ killer everywhere! Door handles, into the air, bench, table, chairs. Its brilliant and I love the fact it even kills the Cold virus. Fantastic! Will buy and recommend!
It was great to be able to trial this product. We used it on the baby change table, the nappy bin, and our normal rubbish bin. Worked really well – quite a strong smell so it needs to be used in well-ventilated areas – but it gets everything really clean. The smell does fade after a while and then just smells clean.
I received Dettol Glen 20 Crisp Linen & was dying to use it on something challenging.
Suprisingly my cat was the one who shocked me with a tonne of muddy paw prints, loose fur chunks and sprinkled dirt trailing all over the kitchen counters, table and computer desk, aaahhhhh!
I noticed you don’t need to spray a lot on the surface to get coverage. It didn’t take too much scrubbing for all the gross mud/fur to remove quickly & thoroughly.
The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was the spray’s odor – I found it a bit strong or overpowering, but the results were amazing!
I will definitely keep using Dettol Glen 20 but perhaps in a different scent. It’s definitely so useful in many situations – for safe, germ-free and flawlessly clean surfaces or items.
