I loved this Dettol hand sanitiser it was easy to use and with the hanging handle was super easy to attach to a bag or a holder in the car. Dries fast and not strong and leaves hands feeling super fresh. Will be buy more of these for the kids school bags.
The Dettol hand sanitizer has been brilliant. My 5 year old doesn’t like the noise of the hand dryer so it was a perfect way to make sure her hands were clean while we were out and about.
The clip is super handy and I attached it to the zip inside my handbag so it was easily accessible. The product doesn’t dry out your skin
Thanks for the chance to trial this product. My daughter is 8 so I felt she was old enough to use this herself and have attached it to her lunchbox bag, this way she can use it everyday before eating, which is perfect.
I have also purchased another for my keys that way i always have it with me when out of the house, which has saved us several times already (public toilets, play grounds etc)
The clip system is great, fits on most places I have tried to attach it, also love that it is reusable.
The sanitiser itself absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your hands feel dry either which is great.
I would suggest anyone who doesn’t already have this should go get some.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to try this product, it was great timing as both my kids have had tummy bugs this last couple of weeks. So for me it was nice to know I could easily clean the kids hands and know they weren’t going to spread their germs around. My daughter 7yrs said she really liked the smell of the Dettol hand sanitizer and it left her hands feeling soft. I can’t say that I used the clipping attachment as the kids were sick we just used it at home, but I will pop it in the car for when we are out and about and don’t have water available to wash hands.
This is amazing!!! Miss 5 loved that when she felt ‘ew’ all she had to do is go to her bag and use it when she wasn’t around a tap. So good for when we went fishing down the river bank, so easy and so simple! Re useable plastic that I could take off her bag and put in hand bag then back on school bag!! So going to buy some more! 5/5 from my children and myself.
This product arrived at a perfect time. Just a week out from having a baby and the 7 year old gets a heavy cold. Suddenly our life revolves around this Dettol instant hand sanitizer to make sure no one else gets sick before we have a newborn in the house. We’ve taken it everywhere. It’s clipped on the back of the toddler’s stroller, it’s clipped onto the school bag and even onto my handbag. We’ve not gone anywhere without it. It’s so easy to use, doesn’t dry your skin out, doesn’t make you feel sticky and has a nice clean but not overpowering fragrance. You feel safe in the knowledge you have super clean hands! It’s easier to use on the 2 year old than wipes (which he hates), whereas he’s quite happy to have gel squirted onto his hands and rub it in himself. I usually keep a bottle of hand santiser in my hand bag, but it tends to get lost and I forget to use it. The clip is way more helpful than I ever would have imagined. It’ll be coming to the hospital with me when baby decides to make an entrance! Will be buying more in the future, that’s for sure 🙂
This is a great product. The clip is so handy. I have clipped it to the inside of my handbag which made it easy to find. The smell is not to strong and the product is not sticky. I will click it onto my backpack when tramping. It will be great to use and will save my water when I need to have clean hands for eating etc. I Highly recommend this handy product
It is really a great idea…we loved the rubber sleeve…very handy…easy to use.many friends at school asked us about it…bid thank you.
I was first introduced to hand sanitizer after the Christchurch Earthquakes. Our water supply was contaminated, and we were desperately trying to minimise chances of tummy bugs and falling ill! So I’ve tried a lot of different brands in my time and have to say Dettol is the brand I’ve become to trust. Not only is the smell great but it doesn’t dry out your skin either.
Now Dettol have ramped it up a bit more to include a handy clip. Keeping a bottle of this in the car is a must for those urgent toilet stops at the public loo when the kids just can’t hold on. 9 times out of 10 there’s no soap and you just feel a little bit ick leaving with just a splash of water on your hands.
Also a must when walking Miss Ivy, after picking up her lovely doggy doo in bag always makes me feel like I need to scrub my hands as soon as I get home. But with the handy size of Dettol with the clip I can sort it right there. It clips nicely inside my jacket or Miss Ivy can even carry it for a bit clipped to her collar. Thanks for letting me review…I won’t be without it now!
One more thing I will like to add. As it is hung upside down, it squeezes out easily without having to pound it on your hand.
I have tried other sanitizers but I would recommend Dettol sanitizer. Why? Because,
– the most handy design, the silicon clip. You won’t have to dig in your bags if you need it instantly, just hang it with your bag and you are good to go. In short, a bottle within your reach.
– the feel. Yes it feels great and is not greasy.
-the smell. It smells just fine.
– size. Size is handy.

Oops I did it again……then I remembered, No I haven’t, i clipped it onto my sons sports bag before he headed out the door. I’ve just picked him up and I asked him how the dettol was, he said…..”it was really handy being clipped onto my bag, Instead of having to hunt thru the bag trying to find it. It’s a great smell. This truly has been my saviour a couple of times now. As a busy mum with twin girls sometimes wipes just aren’t enough and this has definitely been highly appreciated in times of need. With having been hospital kiddies many times they love taking charge of germs on their own and the clip is perfect for clipping to their bag. It steels lovely and doesn’t leave your hands feeling tacky like other products do. It will definitely be a regular on our shopping list

This has been so handy to have clipped to my nappy bag the last week no more rummaging around in my bag looking for hand sanitiser. It’s super easy to clip on and off so you can transfer to another bag.
We’ve been using it all the time when out and about on family outings to keep our hands clean or just day to day before eating on picnics and we aren’t near a sink with soap and water.
The gel has a nice fresh scent and dries really quickly without drying out my skin. It’s a very handy product.
I JUst love this so much because its so handy and can be hung onto my girls backpack easily. I always make sure she sanitised her hands after daycare or going to supermarkets. This is just so convenient and great to teach kids to use it when theres no bathrooms nearby to wash their hands. 🙂 great product!
Love these so much. Can be hung anywhere. We have hung this one in the car, so that no matter where we are we can always keep clean. At the playground we can clean before having a snack. The kids know where it is, so they can go use it if they need it. Makes it so much easier to remember where they are and always have one on hand. Thanks heaps for this great new storage idea.
The Dettol gel clip is fantastic, we haven’t lost the handsanitiser since we received it in the post. We really need to buy more so Mr 10 can attach one to his school bag, and one in each car. Love how easy they are to attach, very light and convenient.

Knew I was going to love the silicon jacket and clip of this, as I have had great success this year with a similar design on sunscreen. I was not wrong! It has been super helpful, my only complaint was not having more of them! It has also reminded me of what a superior product it is. Light and quick to absorb onto hands with a pleasant smell. I have been using different brands lately, with globs hitting the floor when trying to sanitize kids hands. We try to sanitise hands when returning to the car from kindy and shopping. Having the clip attached In the car makes is easily accessible by the kids, as well as ensuring it does not wander! Well done, a fabulous user friendly product.
Perfect! I turn my back for a couple of seconds to help my 5 year old son and my 2 year old son decides to pull his used nappy out of the cars rubbish bin and play with it, yuck. These kids go into toilets at the park and have to touch everything. Even after going toilet in the bush up north we can use dettol hand sanitizer gel to clean our hands. My kids don’t know what germs are so they are always touching things they should not be touching like someone else’s dog poo at the park. We can use this stuff anywhere anytime and it makes our hands feel clean and refreshed. I also use dettol hand sanitizer at work, some of the building sites don’t have running water so to sum it all up I highly recommend dettol hand sanitizer, it feels good and it fits in your pocket.
Loved this Dettol hand sanitiser gel. I attached mine to the pushchair and myself and my 3 kids use it regularly. After trips to the playground, the mall, supermarket. This Dettol Instant Hand Sanitiser Gel with clip arrived at a very convenient time for us – it was just before we embarked on an epic family road trip up to Auckland from Gisborne. And if anybody knows the journey from Gizzy to Auckland, you’ll know it’s not for the faint-hearted! It’s pretty arduous and takes about 8 hours, through a long, windy gorge and other places where there aren’t too many public toilets. Even when you can find toilets, they’re often a bit unpleasant to use, so we were grateful to be able to use this hand sanitizer even after using public handwashing facilities. It was the perfect way for us to ensure Miss 8 had cleaned her hands properly and thoroughly. And my husband and I were grateful to be able to use it on the road trip as well – so it’s a very useful product for adults as well as children.
A long car journey though is just one of many occasions where this portable little hand sanitiser comes in extremely handy (excuse the pun!). We visited Auckland zoo yesterday and I just clipped the hand sanitizer on to Miss 8’s backpack before we went. When we sat down for something to eat after trekking around a few of the animal enclosures, it was convenient and easy to remind Miss 8 to wash her hands before eating. So this was yet another occasion where this hand sanitizer is a bit of a godsend!
What makes this product different to other hand-sanitising products I’ve tried in the past is that it feels softer on the skin. Perhaps that’s due to the aloe vera extract, but it really does feel soft and refreshing to use. It’s also mess-free – you literally just rub it into your hands and between your fingers and it just disappears. With the addition of the clip as well, it makes it easy to clip it somewhere visible to remind yourself to use it whenever the situation calls for it.
I’d recommend this to anybody wanting to maintain good hygiene levels – adults as well as children. And, as a parent, it puts your mind at rest when you’re on the go with little ones so you can just get on with your day without worrying too much about hygiene.

Thank you for letting us Trial the dettol hand sanitizer! The clip was so easy to attach to my handbag so we had it when we needed it. Both my kids have used it multiple times now which is a huge success for us! Our son is Autistic and hand washing in places that aren’t home is challenging and this sanitiser is brilliant ! He finds sensory things hard but this being not too strong in smell and fast drying not sticky like other sanitizers is great! Also the clip makes it easy for them to hold the sanitizer attached to something and get a little for themselves when needed which is great too.
Like how easy this was to clip onto my backpack. Nice and non greasy. Great to use on trolley handles at the supermarket. Good product. Will be buying some to keep in car. 🙂

I loved Dettol’s Instant Hand Sanitiser Gel 50ml Clip-On! So handy to use. I clipped it to my apron while I was cleaning around the house and yard . Compared to other products that I have used, it dries quicker and leaves your hands feeling so soft & clean. The silicone jacket is a great idea, you can hang the bottle anywhere that you may need it. We are going to keep one on our chillybin or picnic basket handle. Great for the car too. I will definitely be adding it to my shopping list.
Hi, I would love to trial this product. My children are 2yrs and almost 5 yrs old. They love to play outdoors lots at parks, beaches and my older child has to use the public toilets when out, this would be ideal as it could clip onto my hand bag 🙂
