Baby Fruit Purées:
We were very lucky to try these with my 6 month old just starting to try foods these were great. We had never heard of nz apple products before so was a great we were picked. My little one loved them his favourite flavor was the strawberry raspberry and banana though he liked them all didn’t even turn his nose up I was very surprised. They are super handy as in pouches so easy to throw in your bag and take out with you. We will definitely be buying these when we go shopping.
My daughter was very lucky to trial these products. We have never heard of this brand/food but would definitely be buying and keeping an eye out for it at our local pak n save. With the added bonus of being gluten free, no added sugar, preservatives, additives or sulphites!!
As soon as it came in the mail she was straight into it! The fruit hitz pouch was her favourite, she wanted more! Super easy for her to open and gave the biggest thumbs up! Even asking for another one, so we will be hunting for these!
She then wanted to try the apple chips, bravo for making the packaging look tasty, afterwards all we heard was mmmmmmm, these are very yummy and tasty! They taste just like apple.
Fruit noodles didn’t quite get the hype like the other 2 products, but about an hour later she asked for more. So the NZ apple products are going to be a great addition to my kids lunchboxes. We are even going to try the entire range so the kids can see what their favourites are! We have already sent photos to our kindy friends with my daughter taking some in for the kids to try! Well done NZ Apple for thinking of what is best, simple and easy for our tamariki! And their lunchboxes!
Today our box of New Zealand Apple products arrived and the kids were super excited to try them all! We had never heard of this brands products before so they were very new to us. Both children (aged 3 and 5) liked the fruit pouch the best. I’m not sure if this is because it was the most familiar to them (as they have had different fruit pouches in the past) or if it was just because it was delicious. They then said the fruit noodles were their second favourite and they said these were like “snakes” and liked to count how many they each got. The Apple chips came 3rd and when they saw them they were a bit hesitant to try them but once I assured them that it was just apple slices, they ate them straight away.
If these were at a supermarket I would definitely buy them during most shops as they will be a great lunchbox option for school and Kindy. With all the products being natural, it makes them a great healthy addition and a different (sometimes more exciting way) to eat fruit.
At this stage I wouldn’t buy these online as I prefer to buy my food items during my grocery shop.
I would happily buy all of their products. Especially the food pouches for when my 3month old gets older and starts solids.

The New Zealand Apple’s Fruit Hitz Baby Pouches were happily received by my one year old and me. I love that they are made in New Zealand and are a healthy treat for my son. They are a convenient and time saving option when we are out and about and on the go and are easy for him to eat. The flavour combinations sound really yummy such as apple banana pear and mango and apple banana strawberry and raspberry. They are a great size to put into a nappy bag or child’s lunchbox too. Would definitely purchase more in the future.
My daughter 18months old was very lucky to trial these products. She loved the fruit pouch and the fruit noodles but wasn’t very keen on the apple chips, but my older 2 girls 11 and 9 loved the apple chips and said they would love these more often as a snack. We received our parcel on the morning we were going on a road trip and the pouch only lasted 5mins before it was gone. They are such a great and healthy snack to have on hand I will definitely be buying more to take away at Christmas time, we have recently bought more fruit noodles from our local pack n save in Christchurch and also I seen they stocked the apple chips so these will be in the list next week.

Omg, I can’t believe my picky 5 year old ate apple. He loved the taste and I would be definitely buying more. My 2 year old loved the fruit hitz pouch and cried for more. The least favorite in our household was the fruit noodles. They said it’s very tangy.

My kids loved the apple chips because they were crunchy and had a sweet and sour taste which my kids love.
I would love to purchase more Online because, its a very healthy snack for picky eaters.

Baby Fruit Purées
We were very lucky to be selected to trip and review these AMAZING baby fruit purées and let me just start with first impressions, my gosh they were packaged and presented beautifully!
We had never heard of New Zealand Apple Products before, I actually only learnt of them through the Kidspot NZ website.
All 5 flavours were absolutely delicious making picking just one as a favourite so hard but in the end the Apple, banana & blueberry triumphed (this was measured by the loudest and longest crying session once the pouch was all eaten up)
It’s great to see this company has their very own website and I will definitely be purchasing these baby fruit purées regularly from the website along with their other products for my older children (I have one who only eats apples so how about that) I would love to see them on every supermarket shelf as I know they would be my first choice in baby fruit purées now.

I hadn’t heard of Apple Products prior to reviewing but was very pleasantly surprised – great quality and very yummy products. In the words of my three-year-old son “they’re my favourite” – which was said about all of the products! In particular the fruit noodles (fruit leather) were a real hit. Would be great if these were available in mainstream supermarkets or Raeward Fresh so we could buy them in our normal weekly shop, as I am probably unlikely to buy them separately online. I would try any products from this company as they were very popular with adults and kids alike and would definitely recommend – and have already done so!

Thank you for selecting us to review your products. I had never heard of this brand before. The box was beautifully packed and the pouches are perfect sized and the caps greatly sealed. Out of the five pouches, my little one loved the raspberry and strawberry purees. We may not consider buying these pouches often as my little one is moving towards textured food. But I think it’s an easy to carry pouch for those days. I would love to buy their dried fruit snacks, healthy and tasty. I am sure it’s going to be as amazing as the purees. Thank you again.

The range was delicious (disclaimer: i tasted them too, yummy 
). And this might sound a bit weird, but I liked the muted colours, a lot of baby food can be bright orangey, artificial and stains like crazy.
Yes, I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. The major pluses are; the no- preservatives/ additives etc all natural, it’s a New Zealand product (yay!) and my baby loved them.
The consistency was perfect for my 6 month old, she gags at the slightest hint of a lump
So, yes i’ll recommend the fruit purées and yes we’re off to buy more…

These baby food pouches were gobbled up very quickly! Each pouch was sucked up and finished in less then a minute each. Would love to see these available in our local supermarket, easy and convenient to throw in Napa bag, we even chilled a couple to help with the teething. We were thrilled to receive these to review. Both my boys(2 & 8) each had a sure favourite. The fruit pouch was Mr 2’s favourite, and having a sneaky taste myself I was extremely impressed. It was divine. The apple chips were Mr 8’s choice. He absolutely loves apples and these apple chips were by far the best any of us have tasted. They are crispier than most and were delicious. We will definitely by buying some for lunchboxes. The fruit noodles were not bad but we didn’t find that they had much flavour but looking at the ingredients list they are really healthy and would be a great addition to any lunchbox. Overall my boys were really happy and we are glad we have found a healthy snack to add to our boys lunchboxes.

Baby fruit purees
I was very happy to receive these products to review. My baby (11 months old) got to review the pouches for me.
I hadn’t heard about these products before receiving them. When they arrived I got online to look for the 22ND Apple products pages on both Facebook and Instagram to give them a follow.
The Apple, banana, pear and mango was his favourite for sure but he did enjoy them all and they all went down a treat. They were very handy to take out with us when busy with my older children’s after school activities as my baby had one of the pouches to snack on while we were out and knowing he liked the first 2 he tried, I knew he would enjoy the rest.
I would love to be able to buy these products at my local supermarket, I live in a smaller town so I’m hoping they are avaliable at my supermarket which I will have a look next time I’m in store. Buying online could be an option depending on postage cost and if there were discounts etc for buying several products which would make the cost of shipping worth while.
I would love to try more with my baby. The fruit hitz pouches in strawberry and summer berry and mango sound good. Also the fruit noodles I could see going down a treat with all my children.
I will be recommended the pouches to my friends who have baby’s that are 6 months and older and also be letting the mums at my local playcentre know about these products for them to give them a try with their children too.
Hand down these have been the best and tastiest pouches my baby has enjoyed and we have loved reviewing these baby fruit pouches.

I received the baby fruit purées to trial from NZ apple products, I had never heard of this company before this! My baby has just turned 6 months old and has been eating purées for a month or so.
She has enjoyed these purées which are a little sharper and stronger flavoured than what she had tried (perhaps due to them being for 6m plus not 4m plus).
She really enjoyed the apple, banana, pear and mango one.
I have tried myself and they are a wee bit sharper due to the lemon juice perhaps! I would buy again as it’s great to see a NZ product especially knowing it is grown just across the cook strait.
However the amount of banana in them seems strange as I don’t think they are grown in NZ, come to think of it neither is mango is it?
I’d definitely buy this in the supermarket on occasion when I’m looking for a easy baby food option, and I may buy online once or twice, but I can’t see that being very regular as remembering another shop isn’t going to make it to the top of the list!
I am keen to try some of the products for older children next!

Thank you so much for the chance to try. We had tried a few items from their range before like the apple rings and fruit noodles.. but never the fruit purées.. I have never seen these at our supermarket even. So it would be nice to get these at pack and save Rangiora.
My son guzzled these up. They were perfect for travel and times when on the go which is when I used them most.. so in the car, at the drs office, on the road and at the shops for us.
He ate them all and didn’t leave any behind so it is actually really hard to tell his favourite flavour but he is a huge fan of berries and apple, banana, strawberry and raspberry was pretty good to me also.
I would probably most often purchase in store but online is also convenient given covid and the possibility of buying in bulk or flavours that are not available in store.
I would and have purchased other products of theirs and highly recommend recommend especially for my baby and toddler.. they love the fruit noodles and are quite the reasonably priced also.
I am an active buyer of fruit purée so would definitely keep an eye out to buy these at my local store.

I loved the pouch sizes (not too big and not too small quantity) and they looked appealing for my girl. The pouches tasted yum and I can easily mix these into other things as well which is great.
Thanks for the great trial pack! My nearly 2 year old daughter loved the crispy apple chips and the fruit noodles even more – she ate the whole pack by herself in one sitting. I love how they are easy to hold in their little hands and a good balance of sweet and sourness. We had only tried the apple pieces of NZ Apple products before this trial – from our local supermarket. However, we attended the Wellington baby expo recently and were fortunate enough to try the other products available. The golden kiwifruit and freeze dried mixed berries were a huge hit with our little one. My husband and I tried pretty much the whole range and recommend all of them – they make great snack alternatives to fruit bars, raisins. Would definitely buy again (especially when they are on special at the Expo).
I forgot to add that I would love to try some of the other NZ apple products, the freezer dried Apples and other fruit. Also different flavors of things.
We had never heard of NZ Apple Products before but my kids were really keen to try.
My girls love the Tropical Fruit hits pouch. We had to squeeze onto a spoon for one child as they were all keen to try. Huge thumbs up. Great portion sizes. Great way of getting extra fruit in if you run put of fresh fruit. My 11 year old doesnt like eating whole apples at school as she runs out of time so this would be a great option for her
The Boysenberry and Apple fruit noodles were also a huge hit. Lots of flavour, good size packet, can pop a handful in the lunch boxes. Great wee snack.
My girls werent that keen on the Apple Chips. It was the texture of them. My 13 year old said she prefers the soft chewy dried apples rather the chips. My 7 year old just didnt like the texture. I dont think the product was what she was expecting. My 11 year old wouldnt try these, lol.
Great products. Would love to see these in supermarkets across the nation esp New World, Countdown, Pak and Save. Would definitely buy the noodles and the fruit Hitz poches.
As a new mum I found the baby fruit purée pouches absolutely amazing such a time saver for a quick breakfast and lunch while out and about my son absolutely loved the apple banana and blueberry flavour I would highly recommend these pouches every single pouch we received has been a winner which was very surprising as he is usually very fussy with his food

We were very fortunate to trial the purées from Fruit Hitz. I had very heard about them but was happy to give these a good as a fruit purée alternative for my 10 month old.
I was really impressed with the flavour combinations and the range of choices they had. They are a smaller pouch then a lot of the other brands, but I didn’t mind this as we always have left overs in our pouches. We tried our first one as soon as we got home on a very hot day. Yum. I tried the blueberry one myself and would eat this over yoghurt. My son loved it. The mango and blueberry were definitely the favourite flavours. I’d love to be able to buy these in my local supermarket but also love being able to buy (at a good/competitive price) from an online store. Going forward I’d buy a variety of these products as my son starts preschool, for both the confidence, flavour and nutritional values. Would definitely recommend to my mummy friends.
I would also love to try there other products like the freeze dried products the apple chips etc

As a mum of 3, my girl who has been the fussiest of them all this seemed to be a winner! Specially the apple,banaba,strawberry and raspberry flavour. I hadn’t heard of them before but would definitely buy more and most likely online as I do most of my shopping online now. I’d recommend to other mums because of its small size and because it’s a New Zealand product as well! My fussy eater just wanted more and more, so awesome!!
We received the Fruit Hitz Apple chips, boysenberry & apple noodles and Fruit Hitz Tropical pouch.
I had seen these products before at my local supermarket, Paknsave, but had never tried them.
We liked the Boysenberry & Apple Noodles best, as they had a great texture, full flavour and were flexible enough to fit in small lunchbox spaces. The portion size of the bag was perfect.
Would love to see these products in all major supermarkets, convenience stores and petrol stations. My daughter is a celiac and we find it extremely hard to find her a healthy portion snack on the go, I feel these are a great option instead of the GF cookies etc.
I wouldn’t purchase from a direct online store as it’s just one more thing to add to an already busy life, where as at the supermarket it would become a weekly purchase.
I would purchase from the Noodles range and Dried apple chips again, but my daughter (7) wasn’t keen on the pouch.

My kids were very fortunate to try these products to review. I hadn’t heard about New Zealand Apple Products before this trial, but very keen to give them a go as I’m always looking at different ideas for lunchbox additions.
My two kids (6yr old boy and 4yr old girl), both loved the Tropical fruit pouch and gave it a big thumbs up. They both wanted more. They loved the flavor and loved the easy way to consume it. Pouches are great for when you’re on the run.
My little boy really loved the Dried Apple Chips and Fruit Noodles as well, but they got the thumbs down from my little girl. He liked the flavor and also look of them – they definately looked visually appealing and fun. Something different and he did ask for more again later on after initially trying them. He’s looking forward to having them in the lunchbox. My wee miss didn’t like the flavour but is quite particular with what she does and doesn’t like.
Id be keen to be able to purchase this product from the supermarket as keeps it convenient when getting the normal shopping. I may consider purchasing online but do often get out off with the added delivery cost. Preference is for definately purchasing through the supermarket like New World.
I’m keen to try the other products – the Apple rings and Fruit Medley to see how these appeal. The Apple sauce definately as well as my kids love it with cooked vegetables for dinner.
Id recommend others give the products a go. Great to be supporting local, and all natural products.
