Hi my name is Caroline me and my family were given the opportunity to trial this amazing products. My older one is a picky eater atm but she loves the apple snack and the noodles . Theg taste like natural fruits and is not too sweet so I feel safe for her and her little sister to have them as their everyday snack. but the puree both girls dont really enjoy it for some reason maybe because of the texture . But otherwsie definetely recommend this product as everyday snack and super yummy and healthy snack for kindy lunch box too
We were lucky enough to be selected to try the fruit noodles, fruit hit and apple chips! I was very excited as haven’t seen these in any of our local supermarkets nor had I heard of them prior to this trial! I am always on the hunt for healthier alternatives for the lunchboxes and so was interested to see what my 2 two fussy preschoolers (aged 4.5 and 3.5) would think.
The fruit noodles were an absolute hit! The girls both demolished the packet within seconds! They had a pleasant apple berry taste and weren’t overly sweet. I would definitely buy these regularly if I were to come across them in any of our local supermarkets.
The fruit hit was another hit for miss 3.5. However it wasn’t received so well by miss 4.5 who described it as yucky. It is important to note that she is also a very fussy eater and someone who as some textural issues with food so I wasn’t surprised it wasn’t her cup of tea. I would probably buy the fruit hit again for miss 3.5 occasionally if I was to see it in our local supermarkets. But it would be a once every few months type thing.
The apple chips were the girls least favourite and after one small bite each they wouldn’t touch them again. I, however, quite enjoyed them and actually sat and ate the whole bag! Something I would buy for myself as a healthier snack alternative to potato chips!
Overall, the fruit noodles were definitely our favourite and I would totally buy them again. I haven’t seen them locally but am considering ordering them online (depending on shipping costs). I would also recommend these products to mum friends as I know we are always looking for new, different and healthy snack ideas for the lunchboxes!

Baby fruit purées. We received pack B. It was a wonderful experience for both my child 7 months and me. He loved it really all the flavors. It was his first time to taste fruits puree and nothing better than his smile. I didn’t hear about New Zealand Apple products before and I will start to buy from paknsave not online stores and I will recommend it for my friends who have babies and toddlers. I am excited to receive the other products for trials as I did purchase some other companies products and my child didn’t liked it at all. Thanks for such opportunity I had and my child.
Baby Fruit Purées
We’ve finally got to try this product out, unfortunately my toddler was really sick when we received the products and couldn’t do a review earlier.
My daughter has recently tried all the amazing flavours which to my surprised she liked them all, she’s usually a very fussy eater.. the purées are so smooth and made with real fruits. I personally tried all the flavours too. Blueberry ones are huge hit.. definitely recommend this brand. I’ll be surely buying more.
We were lucky to review the fruit hitz, fruit noodles and apple chips. The fruit hitz were a total hit, and we have bought a tonne since. Even the 11 yr old loves them. They have a huge range of flavors which means there was one that worked for everyone. The fruit noodles were also a fave although we felt like the bag was a little lacking in contents but super tasty. The chips were only a hit with one, the rest of us were not big fans, the texture was a little odd and too crunchy.
We were lucky enough to receive the Baby Fruit Purées in the list to review. The first time I had heard about the products was on Kidspot.
I have 2 kiddies who are 3 1/2 & 14months.
Both kids enjoyed the purées and there didn’t seem to be a favourite flavour. They were all a hit. This type of product would be easiest purchased from supermarkets or somewhere else that I shop so it isn’t another job to order/get them from somewhere else. Would be nice if they had a bit more in them like some of the store brought brands. They are about 2/3 of the size of the brand we normally get.
Also would be nice if the packaging was more user friendly for a baby/toddler. First thing my 14month old did was squeeze it and a lot came out. Would be good if they had a bit for little hands to hold onto. Is great to see a different range of flavours but like a lot of other products they are mostly filled with apple or pear and then very small portions of the other different fruits. When I asked my 3 1/2 year old what each one tasted like, he said apple each time.
As mentioned above I am happy with the product and would purchase it from my normal supermarket with the rest of our shopping. I would also try other products from this company as fruit is always a hit in our house and having these types of snacks would be great.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends as long as the price of the product reflected the size and amount of product that I was purchasing.

We got pack A and both the Apple chips and fruit noodles were an absolute hit with my 4 year old, he loved them in his lunchbox and liked how crunchy the apple chips were. My almost 2 year old completely devoured the pouch that we got and kept asking for more. It was good to have a fruit product for their lunchboxes and they loved them, I’d definitely buy them again.

We were lucky enough to receive the baby puree food pouches, I was so excited to trial these pouches as I had never seen the brand in the supermarket before. Just after receiving these hubby and I actually went to the Food Show and came across the team at Fruit Hitz, hubby tried the samples there and was quite impressed with the flavour profiles so we were super excited to get home from the food show and let mr 9 months test them out. We offered pouches on their own as well as mixed in with his breastmilk and baby porridge. His favourite flavours were Apple, banana, blueberry and banana, apple, pear. The ones he fed himself lasted about 60 seconds as he enjoyed them alot. Pouch size was perfect for mixing with his porridge. I did try to find them at our local supermarket but couldn’t see them. Would really love for them to be more readily available.
we tried apple set A. my Son really likes the pouches and we have come across that brand before, I really like the price on these at our supermarket. My Son unfortunately did not like the apple chips, I don’t know whether it was the taste or the texture, but were not a hit for us and we won’t buy them again. he did however like the fruit noodles and I like how natural they look at taste. I think we will certainly buy those again and the convenient pack fits in my handbag for those sudden ‘hangry’ moment my boy sometimes gets when we are out. I will buy these products from the supermarket, but are not a keen online shopper for food items so wouldn’t buy them online. overall a great trial and we have found something new and interesting for the kindy lunch box which is always a win win.
Baby Fruit Purées
We have heard of NZ apple products but not the fruit pouches. My 3 year old doesn’t want to eat fruit in fresh form, the only way I get fruit into him is homemade ice/fruit blocks or fruit pouches. We definitely like the design, happy and cheerful. My son loves these, no flavour preferences. I have bought NZ apple products before, from the website as well and would/will happily buy again. My 6 year old had one of the pouches as well, and she wants me to keep buying these for her lunchbox. It’s a healthy snack good to have when on the go, or even for the lunchbox. I will definitely buy again, it’d be handy to have these in our local countdown supermarket. Thank you for the opportunity to trial these.
Baby Fruit Purées
We received pack B and my 8 month old baby absolutely loved them. So grateful to have been able to trial this product and i am looking foward to buying these for her. Thank you so much Apple Products NZ for giving us this opportunity as i have never purchased products from this brand before but will definitely keep an eye out.
We were lucky enough to trial Pack A. The apple chips were a yummy after school snack and the fruit noodles were a great little extra in the lunchbox. The fruit pouch was delicious and was the first to be devoured by my middle child.

I received pack B the baby puree pouches. My boy 6 months loved all flavours this was his first try of fruit puree and he seemed very happy.
The pouches are great for on the go and convenience to feed baby and can be sealed if not all the contents get eaten.
Great product happy baby will definitely purchase! Would love to see more eco friendly packaging that would be even better! Thankyou.

I had never heard of NZ Apple products prior to the trial, but after using them I would happily purchase.
The Tropical Fruit Pouch was consumed after a swimming lesson and was a perfect on the run snack that hit the spot. I don’t think he put it down until the pouch was empty!
The apple chips were awesome as we don’t eat too many apples due to me being nervous of choking. So these are a fabulous option. My boy loved them as well…especially the whole slices with the hole in the middle! I actually liked them too…especially the crunchy texture.
The fruit noodles I wasn’t too sure about to start with as we have tried similar products to no avail. However he seemed happy enough eating them and we have been thru the whole packet in about 4 servings.
We do most of our shopping at New World so would love them to be available there, but would also have no worries about buying them online as well as any of their other products, especially their freeze dried range.
I would definitely recommend this range to other parents. Great flavours, range and packaging and all very convenient.

We loved the opportunity to trial the Baby fruit purees. All flavours were a hit, so we couldn’t pick a favorite. We used it to add to cereal for breakfasts. The pouches are great to store in the fridge when only part used no mess. Also handy to take in a bag while going shopping for a quick snack. I had not heard of these products before but now I can easily get them in our Supermarket I would buy them again

Amazing product and really loved by my toddler. They were gone within the week and well and truely savoured and enjoyed by my little fruit lover! Love that the fruit favours are more of a variety from what is available in the supermarket!! Definitely will keep buying these and love that fruit can be a much looked forward to treat!

My son really enjoyed all the flavours and i liked how there was an awesome variety to try, the size of the pouch was the spot on and contained the right

The girls loved the fruit noodles the best and have already asked for them for their lunches. Looking on the website, they are affordable snacks that I would happily buy from our local supermarket if they were available. I would also consider purchasing online, if postage was reasonable
I would definitely recommend that people try these as a handy snack, my kids are 7 and 11 and really enjoyed them. I tried them all too, and found them tasty as well. I will be telling other friends with kids about them in the future also

I hadn’t heard of this range or company before this trial, would happily purchase online they were a huge huge hit all 5 of the kids LOVED the fruit noodles and our 18mth old ( and me) loved the apple chips they tasted delicious she loved the puree too, loved the packaging and size of the packs too was just right will definitely be buying
My kids all tried the fruit noodles and the Apple chips they were a hit! Would definitely be purchasing these for lunch boxes and snacks. The youngest had the fruit hits pouch and really enjoyed it. Would buy this one for a quick fruit hit when out and about. Would be keen on giving the freeze dried fruit a try. I definitely recommend NZ Apple products!
We were given 3 of these products to try. The packaging of each is great, gives good information and is attractive.
We were given the Tropical Fruit Pouch, unfortunately none of my three girls liked it. I didn’t get to try it as they threw it out before I could grab it.
Miss 13 liked the Boysenberry & Apple Fruit Noodles but both my 6 year olds didn’t like them. Miss 13 ate them all.
The Apple Chips were not liked by any of them but hubby and I did like them.
I hadn’t heard about this company or is before doing this trial. I think the Fruit Noodles came out in top as Miss 13 has asked me to continue to buy them. I would buy from a supermarket like Countdown or Pak n Save. I wouldn’t buy them online as my girls didn’t like enough of their products to make it worth it. I don’t think I will buy any other products from this company as 2 out of 3 of my girls didn’t like any of these trial products.
But yes I would recommend them to family and friends, as I think they are great. My girls can be a bit fussy on new things.
My kids recived a pack to trial. A fruit pouch, fruit noodles and fruit chips. My 2 year old took the pouch and told me she liked it. She was excited to see it, and managed the content on her own. The noodles and chips we all shared. The chips upon opening had a chemical smell, but the product appeared and tasted fine. My children loved the chips. The noodles not so much.

We were so chuffed to try these NZ Apple products and had never seen nor heard of them before. My kids loved all the products but the stand our favourite was the fruit noodles as it’s not like anything they had had before and I might have told them they were special lollies. I would love if these were available in my Local supermarket but would consider buying online if they had free or very affordable shipping. We would definitely buy the fruit noodles and the apple chips again, although I would like smaller packets of the apple
Chips because They don’t keep well once opened. I would recommend these to family and friends especially those who struggle getting fruit into their kiddos as this is a great alternative
The baby fruit purees were a massive hit with my 9 month old baby and our toddler who likes a bit squeezed onto his cereal etc at breakfast time. Baby particularly loved the one with blueberry in it…. yum. I would definitely buy these in the supermarket.
Thank you for this trial of the N.Z Apple Fruit Hitz range. I hadn’t heard of this range or company before this trial, would happily purchase online and be good if the supermarkets had them also. Miss 3 fav was the fruit pouch (tropical). So much, she asked for more. I tried to nutri bullet some fruit salad and passion fruit syrup to mimic it but she knew the difference. I have already recommended to some friends as the things miss 3 didn’t enjoy as much my older children (11 & 16) enjoyed, aswell as myself (mine were the apple chips, the flavor was bang on and left you with a super sweet apple taste after the chip was finished

What an awesome lot of photos of the products in use I saw as I scrolled to here. Lucky I got photos when we opened our parcel as we missed our opportunity to get photos when consuming! My eldest (5) loved the pouch and I know miss 2 would of as well given the chance! Not so keen on the other 2 products so probably wouldn’t buy from this company at this stage but I think the products are a great idea. Hadn’t heard of them before either but appreciate the trial
My teenage boys had tried the Fruit Hit & Noodles before we received our trial pack. They had not liked the Fruit Hit at all & were reluctant to try the sample. In the end they agreed this was a better flavour.. but didn’t drink it all & wouldn’t want me to purchase it. They were not a fan of the pulpy texture. Personally, I thought it would be a great product for younger (less fussy) children. I could see them being very handy to have in your handbag when on the go with tired, hungry little children.
The noodles & chips were gone in a flash! One of my sons declared the noodles as “the best thing ever” & both boys agreed they would like them in their lunchbox. I have dehydrated our own apples in the past & found the dryness of the Apple Chips a little strange in comparison.. but I’m not a kid!
I would consider buying the Chips & Noodles from the supermarket. I probably wouldn’t buy from online stores because of postage costs.
I would also love to try the Apple Products Freeze Dried Mixed Berry pouch. We often make smoothies at home, which are great teenage after school ‘fillers’.
I would recommend all the New Zealand Apple Products we tried to anyone with young children.
Thank you for the opportunity to review these products. I hadn’t heard of New Zealand Apple Products before the trial. I enjoyed the Apple Chips the best. They were a tasty, yet healthy snack. My 7 year old enjoyed both the Fruit Hitz and the Fruit Noodles. He was keen to our the noodles in his lunch box for school the next day and agreed he would eat both of these products again. I’d prefer to buy this product from the supermarket, rather than on line, however would be open to purchasing on line. I would definitely purchase other products in this range. Juice pouches are popular in our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to friends and family.
Baby fruit purées – we received pack b, the baby fruit purées to trial and my 9 month old loved them. I’d heard about New Zealand Apple Products before as I’ve bought some of the dried fruit for my older son before. My 9 month old liked the apple, banana, pear and golden kiwifruit the most. It was easy to mix in with his weetbix for breakfast or to have in its own after his lunch or dinner. I’d buy this from the supermarket, we usually do an online shop at countdown so will keep an eye out for it there. Looking at the website it looks reasonably priced so would have no problems buying from the website. I’d purchase other products, as mentioned I’ve bought the apple rings before and the freeze dried golden kiwifruit might be handy for both kids, I’d definitely recommend New Zealand Apple Products as they have some nice and tasty options that will be good for lunchboxes.
