Starting your baby on solid foods is an exciting milestone in their development. All babies are different, so wait until your baby is showing a number of signs before starting them on solids. Your baby may seem hungry after breastfeeding or formula feeds and they may make chewing movements and reach out when seeing you eating.

Smooth and creamy. Easy to mix with both fruit and vegetables. Packaging great with the easy resealable top. Baby loved both flavours. Would definitely buy again.
My 7 month old tried the SunRice Baby Rice Cereal today for the first time and she loved it and ate every last drop! She prefers her foods to be more smooth so the texture was perfect for her as we have found some other brands aren’t smooth enough for her liking.
My son had the plain one as a base for the stew we ate for dinner and he ate it all.
He had the veggie one by itself and loved it, it’s great to see a veggie product as a lot of baby food is fruit based.
To make it a bit easier I’m going to add an old formula scoop to the bag so I know how much cereal to add (also easier if someone else is making her food for her, eg I can just say add 1 scoop or 2 with 50ml formula to get the right consistency). I love that it’s got no added sugars and has no artificial flavour but is a good source of iron to help her developing body.
The mixed vege flavour smells very pleasant, makes me want to eat it myself.
So easy to mix, lovey and smooth and so easy for baby to eat. Great to have the added iron. We will be using this SunRice Baby Rice Cereal again and again. It is good that it also comes in the vegetable variety, with carrots, sweet potato and pumpkin that is an easy way to introduce these vegies.
Usually with other brands he will only eat it with another flavour added but I love with this there was the choice for mixed veges and he loved it just as it was. This makes it so much more convenient when we are on the go as we don’t have to worry about taking something to add into it.
My 7 month old son absolutely loves his sun rice baby rice! We mix our with breast milk and he devours it every time! Thank you so much for this amazing product! We will be looking out for it at the supermarket!

Baby absolutely loved the veggie version of the rice flour. It is good mixtes with other ingredients such as fish and meat.
It is an amazing product that my baby boy loves.
My one year old is still eating his rice cereal option every morning as it’s his favourite and seems to leave him feeling less colicky over heavier cereal options
My daughter seemed to enjoy this and we added in mango/apple puree to it as well. We do baby led weaning so was interesting teaching her to use her spoon and help her to eat it. I would recommend this product and I like the resealable pouch too. It’s simple to prepare and goes down easy too.
Tried this as our first food for our 5m old and was a great choice, easy to make and great texture for first food, he seemed to enjoy it too 😊
My daughter is 8 months old and I can’t seem to find a product yet that satisfies her wants and needs. I would appreciate the opportunity to trail and hopefully end up having my go to option for her as we transition into solid foods.
My son at 11 months old is an extremely fussy eater and barely eating solids. Have tried lots of different first foods and haven’t had much success so would love to give this a try

My baby got so excited when I showed her the colourful packet! She started solids a few weeks ago and absolutely loves eating! She loves her cereal and gets so excited every time I take the packet out of the cupboard. The koala and colours is so attractive for young children and makes them excited for breakfast time. Even my 2 year old wanted some of baba’s cereal and loved it! We also mixed it with some purée as well to change it up a bit. As a mum I love to know what nutrients and ingredients my baby is getting in. It provides a good source of iron to help support healthy growth and development. It’s great that the packet is resealable.

The gorgeous eye catching packaging was an instant hit with my almost 6 month old who immediately grabbed at the packet. Another win was my son enjoying the baby rice cereal, we had tried other brands and my son had screwed his face up and spat them back out so it was awesome seeing him enjoy the rice cereal! My son preferred the mixed vegetable flavour more than the original flavour but I believe this is only because he has tasted other foods before. I loved that the packaging had an easy re-seal zip lock that didn’t stop working once a bit of rice cereal got into the tracks. I would recommend this rice cereal to other mums because my son enjoyed/preferred it over other brands

My 10 months old is already on solids but is a real fussy eater. I have tried many different cereals but nothing does. Id like to try this product and if he likes it , it will be a very big win for me and for you as I will continue buying it afterwards 🙂

My son received the plain and the mixed vege flavour. This has now become a staple to his food cupboard. He loves the plain with roast veges on top. I liked that we could make it thicker for him too as he grew confidence with his solids. It was easy to make, he enjoyed the taste and it gives him more variety in his meals.
So easy to mix with formula and my baby likes it very much.Would like to recommend this to all busy mum’s as we can save a lot of time for preparing solid foods.Thanks to sunrise baby cereal.
We tried the baby rice cereal with our 6.5month old and she really enjoyed it. It was really easy to mix up & it’s a great way to make sure she gets her iron. The resealable bag is super handy & a good size. We will definitely take it with us when we travel for our first holiday with baby next month.

The product is easily prepared and i would recommend it if you’re looking for food that’s fresh for a change and is not from a food pouch.
Would certainly recommend it especially for dads who who’s wanting to help out moms with preparing food for the little ones.
My 9 month old girl wasn’t a big fan of the plain by itself, but did like it mixed in with fruit puree and yogurt like a smoothie.
Had a few mouthfuls of the vege by itself but again preferred it mixed with more vegetables 🙂
Maybe if we’d tried her on this before a wide variety as she is used to would have been a bigger fan
A good staple to have in the cupboard – easy and quick to prepare. Mixes well with lots of other flavours – very flexible! I am happy that it provides a good source of iron for my 11 month old – we generally struggle with the high iron foods – so it’s a tick in that box. Thumbs up from us

As a Mum of 2 (now 4.5yo and 8.5mo) , I have always used baby rice cereal with almost every food offered to my babies. I use it with pureed foods as well as when introducing things like yoghurt to make the taste Lees intense. When given the opportunity to try both the original and mixed vege one, we were absolutely over the moon. We received it when baby was already 7.5 mos and just mixed it in whatever food she was having. We did use the mixed vege one for just savoury dishes, and it went down with a hit. I actually went to the store to buy another pack of the original when we ran out because my baby loved it sooo much! I’ve tried a few brands of baby rice and sun rice is the only one I have come across that comes with a vege option too. It is also the only one that I have gone a purchased a second time round. Love love love!
I think this is a really good product, very easy to make, extra bonus that it comes in a vege flavour too so little ones can get more variety into their diets early on. The package is so easy to store and the resealable top means the contents are kept fresh while your using it. Will definitely recommend to others 🙂
Thanks so much for the opportunity to review this product, we tried the mixed vegetable one with our 8month old and she seemed to enjoy it reaching out in the photo for more lol. It was upper easy to prepare and would be great for the earlier stage of first foods or when bubs is teething as it’s a good soft consistency our nearly 3 year old also had some and she said it was really nice so have been adding it as a side dish for her lol.
Tried this rice cereal for my 10 month old. I used it as a thickener to oats, carrots and yoghurt. My little one really liked it. The packaging for the product is really nice and I like how it comes with the mixed vegetable flavour too. Although this rice cereal did contain less iron compared to my regular rice cereal brand. But all in all it is a good product.
I would love to try this my baby is going to be starting solids soon I would love to try this.
