Thank you for the opportunity to trial the Veet Wax strips. I found them easy to use, and the instructions were pretty clear. Minimal residue was left behind compared to other products I’ve used before. As I have epilatored alot in the past I found that the wax strips did not remove the softer finer hair that is a result of epilating. Im assuming this is because of the changes in direction of hair growth.. it successfully removed all the coarser darker hair and left my lower legs silky and smooth. Would love for my young teen to try this product as it will be so easy for her to use. Would recommend this as a product worth trying
Okay, so I have never really been a leg waxer. I hate pain. I’m not going to lie. When I put that first strip on I was nervous. I was really nervous. However, it was on and there was only one way it was coming off, and that was if I pulled it. In solidarity my partner also let me put a strip on his leg. While I thought it was painful (but did an amazing job at getting all the hairs out) my partner said it wasn’t that bad (maybe he was just being tough).
I must say that they had a pleasant smell and were extremely easy to use. They did a great job at removing my leg hair and I even used them to complete the job. I have read some reviews that it was painless. I had hundreds of little hairs pulled out of my leg and I can assure you that it hurt. HOWEVER, on the plus side, I now have hairless legs and don’t need to worry about shaving for a while and there were barely any hairs missed, and those that got left behind I am pretty sure it was just due to user error.
I would totally recommend these as an easy clean hair removal solution. I am keen to see how long the results last.
Thanks for the opportunity to review the Veet legs wax strips. I have never tried a product like this. I found the strips very easy to use. The instructions were very clear on the pack. I could use each strip multiple times and the hair was removed well. I feel I could have had one more strip to remove all the hair completely. The skin was red afterwards, but the wipes removed any excess wax easily and smelled pleasant. I would definitely recommend these and will be buying them myself. Way cheaper than getting done professionally and I can do it anytime.

I warmed my strip on the towel heater as it was a chilly day. Used it to wax underarm. Lift arm up and Remember to pull it down . Worked perfectly.
I also cut a strip and waxed my upper lip . Short hairs arms successfully removed.
I also cut a thin strip and waxed between my eyebrows and Under eyebrow.
Fantastic product compared to other brands I used . It retains the sticky ness and the wipe afterwards was lovely to use . I did not burn or tingle as I usually do .

It’s great – but I’m a wuss!
I tried, really I did. But after that first ‘rip’ I couldn’t take it any more! It turns out I am fair too soft to use wax as a removal option. I have had eyebrows waxed before, but maybe it is different when someone else is doing it. I am impressed with the smoothness (even almost a week later) of the one patch on my legs that I did manage to wax, and there was absolutely no irritation. The cleansing wipes that are provided are awesome – it took all the excess stickiness off my leg.
But all is not lost! Hubby is fine with me using these on his (barely there) back hair. He’s happy for me to rip hairs out, so like I said, maybe it is better when someone else is doing it!
To be honest wasnt really a huge fan!! I mostly blame it on my technique but I found that it didn’t really stick to the hairs that well so I needed to go back over the same are a few times. I feel like it wouldve been better with a few days more growth (but it did say 1.5mm was fine. )
It did leave my skin feeling nice and soft (after the initial smarting went away)
Afterwards there was a bit if wax left on my skin which was super hard to get off without the finishing strips (was good they included them but I only used 4 strips- too sore and took too long for more) so wouldn’t fare very well without extras
I had the pleasure of trialing the Veet easy-gel wax strips and they work really well.
The packaging is recyclable cardboard and a bright happy pink colour which is easy to spot in the drawer.
I have tried Veet wax strips before but not with the easy-Gel on them and it has made them much easier to use. They don’t need to be rubbed before separating which makes it a quicker process.
I usually use an epilator but am constantly finding the battery has gone flat when I go to use it so having a box of Veet easy-Gel wax strips in the drawer ready to go when I am is very convenient!
I used the wax strips straight after a shower on hair that was around 5mm long and found it pulled out 99% of the hairs and on a lot of them you could see the root had been cleanly pulled out.
Applying was very easy. Simply peel apart the 2 layers and smooth it onto the leg in the same direction as the hair growth then quickly pull in the opposite direction as close to the skin as possible while holding the skin taut.
I love that each strip can be used a few times, on me it lasted 3-4 times before it wasn’t sticking so well, it made the job quick and easy.
There were a few hairs left behind but these all seemed to be growing in a different direction and were very easy to remove with a pair of tweezers as it was a very small number.
The perfect finish wipes are lovely to get the little bit of residue off and leave a faint pleasant fragrance.
I have 6 strips left from 20 doing both 1/2 legs including the knee but I think with regular use and getting the hang of it a bit better I would probably use a bit less each time eventually.
I recommend these as a total hair removal process at home for the legs. I think that even a beginner would be able to master it after getting over the initial fear of the (nonexistent) pain. Being hairless for longer is so convenient too!!
I have waxed or epilated for many years, so was excited to trial this product. The first thing I noticed opening the box was the lovely smell. The wax strips were fairly easy to pull apart. It was certainly a whole lot quicker than having to melt a pot of wax & getting it to the right temperature. The strips were very easy to use. Their lightness meant they contoured to the leg shape really well. First pull removed a reasonable amount of hair, but subsequent reuse of the strip not so much. I was able to do 4 or 5 areas before the strip completely lost it’s ‘sticky’ but it wasn’t taking much hair by then. The after wax wipe did a brilliant job of cleaning up the very minimal residue. I agree with others that a couple more in the pack would be great. My legs were no-where near as sticky after these strips as they are after warm wax.. but they were not nearly as hair-free either. So, while these would be great to have on hand as an emergency quick ‘defuzz’ or maybe when travelling, I will stick with the warm wax pot for a more thorough job.
Was so happy I got to trial these,have waxed before but so messy so usually just shave,these weren’t as messy as some but left me red and very sticky wipes worked well but would need a lot more wipes per box as even showering after didn’t remove all the stickiness

It has been many years since I have used wax strips at home due to unsuccessful missions each time.
I was a bit dubious to start, but pleasantly surprised with the advancement of this product. Easy to use, peeling the two sheets apart, application and results – I was impressed! I was amazed at how many times I was able to re-use and get more hairs removed. The product smell was pleasant, and the wax residue was easily removed with the Perfect Finish wipes.
I would purchase this product an recommend to others wanting easy hair removal at home.
I don’t have time to go to a professional salon, and these do the trick! The instructions on the box were easy to understand, I had a lot of fun!
I am amazed at how much hair they remove. I have sensitive skin and these were not a problem. My skin didn’t even get red after using them.

I’m the kind of low maintenance (ahem, read lazy) girl for whom even shaving her legs is a rushed job. Between the kids, hubby and organising my own life, I always seem to have so little time for personal grooming that it is a rushed, and quite often painful, process. I was thrilled to be picked to receive these Veet Easy Gel legs wax strips, as they seemed easy to use, and longer lasting, than my usual shaving, which was reason enough for me!
When I opened the box the first thing which greeted me was the wonderful smell. The fragrance was beautiful whilst not being overpowering. There were also plenty of strips in the box- 20 would be easily enough to do my legs twice over, and may even allow for a few extra applications or other areas of my body to be treated.
The waxing process itself was super simple. Gone are the days when my mum had to heat wax in the microwave and almost burned herself when she took it too far. They are as simple as peeling them apart, and then smoothing onto your leg before pulling off in one fast movement. I was really shocked to say that it was almost painless, and certainly much less painful than the accompanying nicks and scrapes I inevitably get from shaving. Having waxed both of my legs, I then used one of the included wipes to remove the leftover sticky wax residue, and leave my legs beautifully shiny and smooth, and most importantly, hair-free.
Overall I am so impressed. Really easy to use, amazing results and almost painless, I am most certainly a convert. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for more time in their life (aka everyone), and will be buying them for myself from now on. A huge thanks to Kidspot and Veet for the chance to try these out!
I have never actually waxed before but always wanted to and chickened out so no excuses this time!! I was actually surprised how quick and easy ot was, no warming required, just simply peel, stick on and pull off! Its just as quick as shaving really and to not have to do it every few days is a mega bonus! The packaging is nice, the instructions are super simple and this was certainly a game changer for me!!
This was messier than I thought it would be. In a perfect world I’d use them easily, they’d pull out all the hairs, and I’d look fabulous afterwards. The reality was a bit different.
Pros:
– Great in an emergency when you can’t get in to see the leg wax lady
– Much better than the old style strips that you had to warm up with your hands before you peeled
– Smelled nice
– Mostly pretty effective in removing the hairs
– Wipes worked well to remove the residue
– Not as harsh when pulling out the hairs as a professional waxer. Legs weren’t too dotty afterwards
Cons:
– Left residue on my legs – maybe I used each strip for too long
– Got my hands sticky
– Didn’t remove ALL of the hairs – but by then near enough was good enough so I left it. To be fair, leg wax lady usually does some tweezing after waxing.

First time using waxing strips myself and I found them great. I had to pull them apart slowly so the wax was kept even between strips but they applied easy and pulled off great where all the wax came off with the strip leaving no mess. They didn’t hurt for long after using just the initial sting. I have sensitive skin so after I finished I did have pink dots where all the hair was removed but after using the wipes and as time passed they slowly came down. I wouldn’t recommend just before going out if you have sensitive skin but besides that I found them great and super easy to use
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this product. I am an obsessive shaver I hate hairy legs and would always shave in the shower every day so it was very hard to not shave for a few days in order to have hair to wax lol but I was very keen to see if waxing could help reduce the frequency of my shaving. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, no prep needed no rubbing straps to warm or melting anything in a pot. First pull was as expected usual discomfort when waxing nothing to scream about lol. It certainly got easier as you went and could reuse each strip multiple times. Afterwards there was a little tingle and small red dots appeared, result was definitely nice and smooth. I am extremely interested to see how long the results last. Definitely pays to pull the skin tight before pulling, while it’s easy enough to do on your own I do think a second pair of hands might make some spots less painful when on an angle. I found them to be quick and easy to use so as long as the results last a while I will be definitely buying these in the future and maybe now I can say goodbye to the razor.
I have been using Veet products for year, and always loved them. But I do find sometimes my legs irritate to waxing. Although not bad and not for long, it can be annoying. These wax strips are so far the best ones with less irritation! Easy to use, no waiting for things to heat up. And those cleaning wipes?? Love them!! Would love to be able to buy them seperately to use with other Veet products I have (like the Veet Spawax Warming Kit). The wipe even got wax of the lino (opps!!) these will definitely be on the list again for summer. So easy to use, and less discomfort.
Had a bit of a laugh using these with my 11 year old daughter. Her first time waxing and my legs were long overdue. Very easy to use and the results looked good. Box says you can wax half legs twice as you can use each strip several times. My legs were super hairy so would need more than one box to do twice. Would recommend this product as quick and easy to use with great results.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this product. I was very excited to try this product as I am over shaving my legs.
My first impression was that this was very easy to use. No need to warm up the wax strips and you could reuse each strip a few times.
I found though that my hands got really sticky which was frustrating but expected with the wax. Most of my hairs came out reasonably well but I did struggle around areas like my ankle bones.
The wipes were great at the end, it would be good to have more two per pack though.
Overall pretty happy with the product.
Thank you for the opportunity to trial the Veet wax strips. My 12 year old daughter loves these strips. They were super easy to use, had an amazing smell, and left her skin silky smooth. The first wax was slightly uncomfortable for her but it got more easier as she went on. She also said the fact she doesn’t have to shave her legs every other day was a bonus. Would highly recommend pre teens to use these instead of shaving!
Even I had a jam at using them, and found them to be super easy to use, although it did leave a few hairs behind, may be just an age thing between my daughter and I lol. Thanks Kidspot!!!
First time user of wax strips, first impressions the packaging is nice and the wax smells good.
I used a test patch strip and found that it managed to take about 90% of my very long leg hair (had not shaved in preparation) there was a quick moment of pain. My skin is very sensitive and reacted to the hair being ripped out and went all bumpy and red in the spots the hair was removed, flick forward to the next day and this had gone down significantly. I then proceeded to do the rest of my leg and the other leg and the reaction wasn’t as bad.
There was a bit of residue left which came off with the wipe that was included, I do think maybe 4 wipes would be more ideal then the 2 that were supplied. For the amount of hair I had on my lower legs it nearly took the whole pack to do both, so I guess good if you’re coming out of winter to do a big wax the whole pack would suit and then another pack to keep it down.
The product was easy and fast to use (even with a toddler watching) and even though I had a slight reaction I would likely use again providing my hair doesn’t grow back too fast. I would recommend if anyone asked me a suggestion for wax strips as they’re worth a go!
On a side note I talked my hubby into seeing what the pain would be like and did a small patch on his leg, note he has never waxed in his life – he can confirm it was painless lol
I haven’t waxed my legs for about 20 years so this bought back some memories. I like the fact that you didn’t have to warm the wax strips before pulling them apart like “the old days”. The smell was very nice. After the first rip I have to say it did bring back the memories of the pain! But the more I used them the better I got at it. There were a few stubborn ones that wouldn’t budge but overall it was nice and easy. My legs were stinging a bit afterwards and although I used the wipe at the end they stung for about half an hour. The day after my legs were nice and smooth, better than shaving that’s for sure. It did take me awhile though so shaving is definitely faster for those in a hurry. Thank you for the opportunity to relive my youth!
I was lucky enough to be chosen to try the Veet Easy-gel leg wax strips. I do not regularly wax my legs, I normally shave when I have time so was hoping this would be a great option for this busy mum. However, I was left feeling a bit disappointed with the results.
While it came in a great looking packet, with easy to use instructions, and smelt great, it failed to deliver. I had to go over areas multiple times to see results, it left sticky residue behind, and there was only two wipes in the packet which I felt needed to be more.
Unfortunately I would not use these again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
First time using wax strips. Smell lovely and great instructions. I noticed they were very hard to pull apart, the wax didn’t always stick to both sides of the strips when you pulled them apart (see photo of one strip with only half the wax on it). Very easy to apply! But left quite a lot of hair behind. Great you can use the strip multiple times until it loses it stickiness, even with going over the same spot it still didn’t get all the hair. It has left my legs with a wee red rash post using. The perfect finish wipes are great at removing any wax left on the skin. I personally wouldn’t use again or recommend due to the fact it didn’t get all the hair.
I trialed this product and found it so easy to use! Follow the simple instructions! And just like that I went from hairy to smooth in all of 20minutes. I measured my regrowth and it was about 3-4mm. Each strip could be reused up to 2-3 times depending on which part of my leg I was waxing. There were a few tough hairs that refused to come out after two attempts (but easily pulled out with a tweezer). I often get a little bit of a pink rash afterwards but that disappears within 12 hours. One both of 20 waxy strips was easily able to wax but my legs up to just below my knees. So if you wanted to wax above yours knees I recommend purchasing 2 boxes. These wax strips are so convenient- especially if you don’t have time to pop into a professional salon to pay a fortune for a leg wax. I give this product 5/5 for ease of use and reliability.
I had actually used these just recently. They have been the best waxing strips I have come across- It is easy to separate them, and they are very easy to apply- the backing on them is more fabric-y, which makes application and removal more effective as they seem to grip onto the skin, and with the contours of with the leg more so than the plastic backing that other waxing strips- I also found that one waxing strip can be used to apply more than once for hair removal, which means that they are economical too- The result is nice fine and smooth legs! I did find that the residue is a little sticky, so there could be more wipes with it.I would buy these again for sure- Easy, clean and less painful removal than other brands I have tried!
Wow these Veet wax strips are so easy to use and give great results. Pulling them apart was a bit tricky and a couple broke but other than that I cannot fault. The ease of use and the tab to pull the strip off was great. I also want to note that it’s great to have the after wax wipe that removed the small amount of residue that was left over. I would definitely purchase these.
I tried these wax strips they hurt slightly but after the first use it got easier to apply and it seems to have taken all the hair off my legs. Alot easier then a razor thanks Kidspot for letting me try these.
Thank you for the chance to trial the Veet easy gel legs Wax strips , first time I have tried anything like this and found them easy to use . The strips pulled apart easily and I was able to use them again to remove more hair . There was a little wax left on my leg and some redness but a rub with the wipes soon rectified the skin . Nice subtle scent and my legs feel soft and moisturised . The instructions on the pack are easy to follow and the wax strips are a convenient size for a person to treat their own legs without assistance. I would certainly recommend this product to family and friends .I have uploaded photos to dropbox
