What child doesn't like Rudolph? Make this fun reindeer mask for Christmas hat parades or to play dress-ups in the lead up to Christmas.
You'll need:
- Brown paint
- Cardboard
- A sponge paint roller
- Glue
- Scissors
- A paddle-pop stick
- A red felt ball
- Pencil
Step one
Using the sponge paint roller, roll paint onto the inside of your child's arm, elbow and palm of their hand.
Step two
Press your child's painted arm and hand gently down on the cardboard and remove it. This will make the reindeer 'antler'. Repeat with the other arm. Leave to dry.
Step three
Cut around the hand/arm print.
Step four
Draw a mask-shape with eye holes on the cardboard. Cut this out.
Step five
Glue the arm 'antlers' to the underside of the top of the mask. Glue the red felt ball in place as the nose. Glue the paddle-pop stick to the inside of the bottom of the mask to make a handle.
