Beaded snowflakes

These pretty beaded snowflakes are easy to make and great as a wintry day, indoor activity. They can make a few to hang up in their bedroom as a celebration of winter.

What you need:

• 3 pipe cleaners – sparkly ones if you have them
• assortment of beads (with holes big enough to fit pipecleaner through)
• ribbon

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2. Twist one pipe cleaner around another to make a cross.

Step 3. Take the other pipe cleaner and twist it around the other two, making a snowflake shape.

Step 4. Thread a bead on all stems and push right to the centre.

Step 5. Continue threading beads onto the snowflake, letting them make it as colourful as they want.

Step 6. Create a loop at the top of one stem and tie a length of ribbon to hang the snowflake for display.
