Card games: Name that face

Who is who in celebrity world? What about politics? Or bring it closer to home, what about the family? This is a great game for kids of any age to learn who is who where they need to.

What you need:

  • pictures of people from magazines
  • pen
  • glue
  • cards

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Cut out a number of faces from magazines then glue them onto pieces of card.

Write a name for each of the faces on the back of each of the cards.

Try to remember each of the names of each of the faces.

Mix up the cards and test yourself.

 

Notes:

  • Adding a hobby to each of the names can make it easier to remember the names of the faces. This is because it helps your brain form links so that you can remember the name.
  • Try this with family members for younger kids to learn who is who on the family tree.
  • This is a great game if you are trying to learn a subject for school like politics or media or even a movie genre like Disney characters.
