Cooking games with kids: Fruit salad search

Who doesn't like a game of hide "n" seek? I'm pretty sure most kids love it! Now, they'll have to seek for their lunch! When the hunt is done, fruit salad preparations begin!

What you need:

• computer with internet access
• printer
• paper
• knife
• plates
• banana
• peach
• orange
• pear
• apricit
• plum
• grapes
• apple

While you have a moment or two away from the kids, hide the fruit around the house.

When it's all hidden, print off our fruit checklist. This is just an example of fruits you may have chosen, if you have included more, add them in pen on each players paper.

Pass the checklist around and have the kids head off on the search for fruit.

When all the fruit has been found, collect it in the kitchen, chop it up and eat your fruit salad for lunch!
