Create an animal mask

Make an animal mask with this fun art and craft project that will spark your child's creativity and encourage their artistic talents. Watch our video tutorial to show you how.

What you need:

• sheet of card
• pencil
• scissors
• glue
• crepe paper
• paddle pop stick

Watch the below video to see how to make an animal mask.

Using a pencil, draw an animal face onto the card and cut it out.

Measure eye holes so that the mask is customised to your child’s face and cut these out.

Cut the crepe paper into small squares.

Put them in the bowl.

Apply some glue to the mask.

Get your child to stick crepe paper 'fur' to the mask.

Finally, tape the paddle pop stick to the edge on the non-decorated side of the mask, so your child can hold the mask to their face.
