Cute Father’s Day photo idea
What better Father's Day gift idea than this personalised photo of the kids. Just line them up in the right order, take a snap and put it in a frame for Father's Day. A memorable gift that will last for years.
What you need:
- 2 x sets of hands and feet (or more depending on your message)
- a camera
- a black marker pen
Number of players:
Activity:
Work out what your message will be. Something that matches the number of hands and feet you have available is optimum. We had four hands and four feet so we settled on:
WE (HEART) U DAD!
Clean kids' feet. (It's amazing how dirty the soles of kids' feet are!)
Write the letters on your children's feet and hands in the correct order. (It helps to map this out on a piece of paper first.)
Line them up and take a snap.
Put it in a frame and give it to Dad for Father's Day.
Priceless!

Ohh this is an adorable idea. I love it! Pity I didn’t see it in time for today. But maybe for Christmas!
Very cute but may have to wait until the kids are a bit older before I try this. We took a photo of our boys holding a sign saying that mummy and daddy are getting married and we had to take so many different shots – would definitely need another helper with me before I tried this.
This is a really cool idea and it gets the kids involved, the fun part is the process of getting it done.
Lol, my daughter would have so much fun doing this for her daddy, her and her daddy love taking silly pics and sending them to me on WhatsApp. He would love this. Such a cute idea.
Haha that’s so cute! My 6 year old and I often send pictures to her Dad when we are out and about on Whatsapp. We do silly Boomerang pics and make him laugh. He sends pics back to us too. I think it’s really cool and he enjoys it 🙂
What a cute idea!! I think that my kids would have a lot of fun doing this!!
Haha this is a very cool idea! I’ve done personalised photos for two years but would be great to do it again now we have our third and final child. Harvey Norman are also doing a free print 😉
This is a great idea I have never seen this before anywhere. Now to just get them to sit still in a row and write on there feet it will be an interesting session to do with them. This is great also as the photo will be cheap and you only need to purchase a frame and it’s not all about the money it’s about the thought you put into a present.
Omgosh how cute and cool is this! What a neat idea and would mean so much to a Dad too. There’s always so much pressure to buy buy buy for gifts it’s lovely to see that there are amazing gifts that cost next to nothing around.
Ive been trying to think of a few more creative meaningful gifts from each of our boys my middle boy drew a picture thtt we putting on a mug for Dad, my eldest doesn’t know yet and youngest keen to do something. Like this after showing him.
Every year the kids and i do something crafty that involves their hands or feet…it keeps track of the fathers days and them growing with them… so far we have made picture frames, recordable canvases too… this year we need to be able to add a bit more pizazz… thinking a shadow box frame and the” story of us” …will see… thanks for sharing an interesting idea
I love this idea. I think me and the kids could do this for their dad and he would absolutely love it and its not too pricey like all the gift pack which are around $40 each and I think theres not enough meaning put into them being made by someone else. And I have a good camera which is even better. Perfect idea!!
