What you need:

  • red, pink and white tissue paper
  • glue
  • scissors
  • craft paper
  • tweezers

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Sketch a large heart shape on the craft paper and cut it out.

Dab some glue into the centre of the heart.

Cut the three colours of tissue paper into small squares. Keep the colours separated.

Choose which colour you want to do first (white is always a good base). Then take the tweezers and pinch the centre of a tissue paper square.

Twist the tissue paper square around the tweezers (be careful not to tear it) and dab it onto the glue in the heart’s centre.

Repeat this process until entire middle of the heart is covered with tissue paper.

Take the next colour tissue paper and repeat the process to create a middle ring of coloured tissue paper within the heart.

The third colour will border the heart.

Glue a hanger or piece of wire to the back and display.
