Mandarin jack-o’-lantern
Halloween is a great excuse to put up some spooky decorations around the house and do some Halloween-inspired craft projects. This easy mandarin jack-o'-lantern is a practical alternative to the traditional carved pumpkin variety. Plus it looks great lit up with a tea light candle.
What you need:
- 1 x mandarin (loose skinned ones work best)
- 1 x teaspoon
- 1 x kitchen knife
- 1 x craft knife
- 1 x tealight
Number of players:
1+
Activity:
First, cut the top off your mandarin using the kitchen knife.
Now use the teaspoon to scoop out the flesh.
Use a craft knife to cut out eyes and a mouth.
Now pop in a tealight.
Make lots of these cute jack-o'-lanterns and put them in your front garden for Halloween!
