Sticky window hearts
Make your own sticky window hearts for Valentine’s Day using our easy FREE printable and the recipe below. Kids will love creating their own heart stickers – don’t scrimp on the glitter!
What you need:
Sticky hearts mixture:
- 3 tbsp of white school glue (Elmer’s Glue)
- 2 drops of dishwashing liquid
- 1 tsp of glitter (or more if you’re brave)
- a few drops of food colouring of your choice
Tools:
- 1 FREE heart window printable
- 1 plastic sleeve
- paint brush

Mix together the white school glue, dishwashing liquid, food colouring and glitter.
Print out the FREE heart window printable. Place it inside a plastic sleeve.
Using the template as a guide, use the gluey mixture to paint a heart shape onto the plastic sleeve. Let it dry overnight.
In the morning, check it is fully dry before carefully peeling it off the plastic.
Stick it to the window and watch the sunlight shine through.
