Start your next birthday party with a bang with this fun string hunt that will keep your guests busy as they follow their little ball of string as it leads them round the house to their very own birthday gift.

What you need:

• Presents
• Balls of string

Activity:

Tie the end of the string around the present so that it is secure.

Place the present where it can be seen.

Unwind the ball of string making a trail across chairs, under tables, around door knobs, under rugs and so on to make it tricky to reach the present.

As guests arrive, give each a ball of string and ask them to follow the string until they reach their present.
