Stuff the stocking

Similar to the classic party game the Egg and Spoon race, this rollicking race will have the kids burning up their energy trying to outrun and outdo their friends.  

What you need:

• Stocking
• Spoon and bowl for each team
• Wrapped lollies

Number of players:
8+

Activity:

Separate the kids into teams.

Line the kids up at one end of the room or garden.

At the other end, hang a Christmas stocking for each team.

Place a large bowl of lollies and a spoon next to each team.

The first player in each team scoops a spoonful of lollies, runs to the stocking and tips it in.

He then races back to the next person in line, and gives the next player the spoon.

Repeat until one of the stockings if full.

First team to fill the stocking wins.
