The Workers Handmade flower craft

Everyone loves getting flowers, especially Mum. Now, you can make a beautiful bouquet of flowers using your hands and a few simple craft materials. A great indoor activity for kids to get creative with craft.

What you need:

• sheets of coloured paper for flower petals
• green paper for leaves
• chenille sticks (pipe cleaners)
• coloured beads for decoration
• safety scissors
• sticky tape

Step 1. Trace your hand onto a colourful sheet of paper. Use safety scissors to cut out the hand shape.

Step 2. Tape a green chenille stick flat on the hand. You can add a coloured chenille stick to the end of the green chenille stick for the centre of the flower.

Step 3. Roll the hand print tightly around the green chenille stick and tape in place.

Step 4. Use your fingers to curl each paper finger. The paper fingers look like flower petals. Finally, add leaves, beads or ribbons.
