Torn paper collage

One way to get the kids away from the telly is encouraging a creative MESS! Plus, what could be more fun for a kid than tearing up paper? This activity might require a vacuum clean up, but it 'll be worth it.

What you need:

• cardstock
• tissue paper (white, plus any colours you want)
• marker
• glue

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2. Draw a wintry picture on the cardstock. We've drawn a snowman.

Step 3. Get the kids to tear up the tissue paper in small pieces.

Step 4. Glue your picture in sections sticking paper as you go.

There you have it! A gorgeous wintery creation the kids will be proud to display.
