Tree craft: cork stamp apple tree

Make your own stamp out of a wine cork to create this easy tree craft idea. If you're not confident about drawing your own tree you can download our FREE printable tree template below. Just add red paint and a cork! It's easy. 

What you need:

• paints (red and green)
• 1 x wine cork
• craft knife
• our FREE tree template printable
• pencil
• a black marker pen
• A3 sheet of butcher paper

Activity:

Print out your tree template onto a sheet of standard A4. 

Now lay your larger sheet on top and trace the tree shape out. Fill it in with black texta or paints.

Get your wine cork; cut off a small sliver to make the end nice and clean. Use a craft knife to put a small notch in the top of the apple, where you will eventually paint in two green leaves.

Dip the end of the cork in red paint. Stamp it all over your apple tree.

Paint in two green leaves in the notch in each apple.

Hints and tips:

You can also use your apple stamp to make lovely homemade cards: just stamp apples all over the front of a card in rows and add green leaves.
