We have given 50 members the chance to trial and review either of the two new Tip Top Popsicle ice blocks flavours. Read their reviews below.

Nice flavour, not too strong. Very refreshing!
We chose the lemonade & blackcurrant Splash Popsicles, they were so yummy, not too sweet and well loved by all three of my kids, we liked to have one after a hot game of hockey, I will be buying more in the future, maybe I will try the Strawberry ones this time!
We all loved the Strawberry Jambo. It wasn’t too sweet and we have found them easily in the frozen area of our supermarket. The fact they have only natural colours gets a big tick from me. We will also try the other flavour out this summer. Yummy and delicious were 5e kids’ comments.
3 kids hot and sweaty after a busy saturday on the trampoline, what better way cool down with a popsicle splash.
three very happy children as they licked and one bit into there ice blocks and the cooling refreshing taste of the splash ice block hit their taste buds. all three approved of the flavour and happily asked for another. these ice blocks were a bit hit with our kids who said they felt refreshed afterwards. we have since been back to purchase more but habe tried 3 supermarkets and no splash ice blocks in stock. must b popular.
We got the lemonade & blackcurrant Splash Popsicles! They were well loved by all three of us! They were not too sweet for the toddler, and they were nice & refreshing! Will definitely be buying these again as a summer treat! 🙂
Our two little ones really enjoyed the Splash flavour. We just tried these on the weekend when the temp got up to around 28 degrees, and they really hit the spot.
There wasn’t too much food colouring and the flavouring wasn’t too sweet, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

We tried the Popsicle Splash (strawberry Jambo wasnt at our local New World unfortunately)
Was really impressed with the splash, nice and refreshing and not too sweet or highly coloured (always a giid thing with little ones!)
Love the fact that there are no artificial colours or flavours too! (And NZ made is certainly a bonus too!!!)
These will definitely be a staple in the freezer this summer!
Now that we have finally seen the sun it was time to break out our Strawberry Jambo Popsicles as a welcome treat. They were hugely popular and I was impressed by the really lovely refreshing flavour, certainly not too sweet and delicious and flavoursome right down to the final bite. These will certainly be kept in the freezer this summer. We just loved them!!
We were lucky enough to get to trial a box of the new popsicles. I initially tried to get them from a Countdown but they did not stock the two new flavours, I ended up finding them at pak n save.
We chose the Splash flavour, the multi colour ice block and bright packaging really stood out from the others.
These have come in handy for our weekend since it has been so hot and we have been out in the sun each day. They have made the perfect afternoon treat to relax and cool down. The blackcurrant and lemonade flavour was a hit with us and especially miss 8.
What I found with these popsicles is they didn’t seem to melt as fast as other brands we have tried, which is always a bonus with kids!

We tried the Tip Top Splash (Lemonade and Blackcurrent). The packaging stood out and they were easy to find in the freezer.
My daughter (7), myself, husband, nieces (6 and 2) and nephew (7) all tried Tip Top Splash. We all really enjoyed them. We had them as a weekend treat when it was hot. They cooled us down and we loved eating them too.
I like them better than similar products I have tried because of the taste and that they have natural colours and flavourings.
Yes I would recommend these to friends and family.

The bright packaging made them stand out so they are easy to find, they smelt delicious and we all enjoyed them.
We ate them on a very hot day and they didn’t melt while we were eating them which was great. I liked that they had natural colours and flavours . I will purchase these again and recommend them to others.

We tried the Lemonade and Blackcurrant Splash ice blocks, the kids loved them and wanted more, they were perfectly flavoured, they weren’t too sweet. they were perfect for after mowing the lawns and gardening, we have saved the last 2 for us parents when the kids are in bed on the next hot evening when its too hot to sleep
We chose to buy the lemonade/blueberry popsicles, and my kids were very excited to give them a try. They look lovely, although I was a bit unsure about why they have a red swirl in them. From the ingredient list it isn’t obvious either, other than colouring being listed. They have a nice blueberry smell to them, but the flavour is mostly lemonade. I felt like the top of the popsicle maybe has a bit of blueberry flavour which gets lost a bit after that. In spite of that, they are delicious. My two-year old took his time to lick his popsicle and it didn’t drip until the very end, so they hold up well for quite a while. So overall, I’d say that they were pretty good, but that the flavour is a wee bit of a let down (you might as well buy the plain lemonade ones which are cheaper). My four-year old kept on exclaiming, “They’re soooo goooddd!!” so I guess that’s a win in their book! They’ve been asking for more ever since first trying them, so that’s a good sign!

The kids were super excited to find some new iceblocks in the freezer after a long walk with the dog! We used our voucher to purchase the Splash but I also purchased the Strawberry Jambo. They smell AMAZING so we couldn’t wait to get stuck in, of course throughout the day we had to try both flavours! The kids loved them both, preferring the Jambo while my partner and I enjoyed the Splash. Bright colourful packaging was very summery and easy to find in the freezer. Popsicles have never let us down and these are no different, they will be a hit with us all summer long!
The children enjoyed sampling these ice blocks yesterday. They were very first quenching on a hot summers day in Christchurch.
They thought that the flavours popped and, that lemonade and blackcurrant complimented each other well.
They also though it was pretty cool to try a flavour that I, their mum, used to enjoy when I was a child in the olden days
Our boys had the opportunity to enjoy (as they did) the Tip Top Splash Popsicles and i tried too, the Blackcurrant flavour was just right with lemonade. My boys could not get enough and were so refreshing after a busy afternoon at the beach. Highly recommend Splash for a refreshing flavourome summer fun popsicle.
After watching the Santa Parade yesterday, the kids went to the fridge to try the new Popsicle Strawberry Jambo. They really enjoyed them and the packaging is just right for their size. It has great taste but just need more strawberry in it. I can recommend it as its not as sweet as the other brands, meaning it has less sugar which is good for the body. Next time, I do the grocery, I will buy it again.
My daughters tried this. They liked that it was smooth (no chunky bits) that it didn’t melt quickly and messily. It’s flavour was nice. Isabelle liked the lemonade and blackcurrant together to make a new flavour. Miriam still prefers the original popsicles with one clear flavour. It was a great treat at the end of a warm day. We tend to eat ice blocks in the afternoon on a Friday or Saturday.
We love Tip Top ice blocks & ice cream in our house so needless to say that these have been a huge hit with our family and I think they are going to be a staple over summer.
We used the voucher to pick the Strawberry Jambo but when I saw that the 10 pack was just $5.75 at our Countdown (bargain!), I decided to pick up the Splash flavour too.
Both are so flavoursome, very refreshing and made us feel like we were in the middle of summer. My son devoured almost all of the Splash Popsicles so safe to say that was his favourite and my daughter was equally taken with the Strawberry Jambo so we are split down the middle in our household.
The packaging is very vibrant and summery so I noticed it instantly on the shelves – big thumbs up on that!
Overall, definitely recommend and we’ll be stocking up on these over summer. Thanks Kidspot!
Thankyou for the opportunity to try Tip Tops new Popsicle! These were well trialed with my daughters recent throat infection.
Allowing my daughter to choose from the two boxes in the supermarket, it was Strawberry Jambo for the win! First response was a big thumbs up from miss 6!!! She loved the very real strawberry taste and rated the ice block a 7/10.
I found the packaging to be bright and very appealing, I think having 10 to a box is a perfect amount and thought a real bargain at just over $5 a box retail!
Would definitely recommend to friends and family!…now to try the other flavour ; )

Mr 8 loved it, loved the colours that were all marbles together and he said the flavours were delish!
I am normally put off buying blue and purple lollies/treats as it always tends to make your entire mouth blue/purple however I was pleasantly surprised that after his ice block he poked his tongue out and it was only very slightly tinged purple! Also loved the Bright eye catching box, would only suggest that the flavour is easier to spot. Took me a while to figure out what flavour it was unlike the other option which clearly stated Strawberry Jambo! Highly recommend to friends and family! Was a big hit in our house hold, will buy again!
Well it’s a big hit they thought it was blueberry n grape, we decided to buy the strawberry flavor as well but they thought that was very light not much strawberry flavor n watery but they love the lemonade n blackcurrant more flavor in that, but otherwise I thought they both tasted good great day for a popsicle
My daughter immediately went to New World to get the free sample. She was so excited. She loves the taste of the blackcurrant and lemonade that she demolish almost all of them in one day. The sample looks exactly like the picture. It is so refreshing, great taste althought she says it could use a little bit more flavouring. We highly recommend this new flavour in time for the summer season. Thnak you so much.

A great summer activity loves by my family is swimming at the Waterville my kids love iceblocks and I always have lemonade ones in the freezer. A new taste may just be perfect to try 🙂
We would love to try these, I think I can remember the Splash ones. We all love sitting down and having an iceblock as a family after working on the farm – summer is a busy time and its nice to have a treat after a hard day.
We love spending time out side – and have recently relocated to Nelson, and this will be our first summer here!
There is so much to do outdoors for the kids. We are a bike riding family, and also love going to the beach/rivers to swim after work and on the weekends. These would be great for my kids (5 and 2) to try out.
Our wee girl loves ice blocks. We spend a lot of time, outside ,at the beach and at our local hot salt pool. Every day that the sun is shining we are told “it is a hot day so I am allowed an ice block.” She only tends to like popsicles or one or two other varieties so she would be a perfect fuss pot(like many kids) to try them out!
