What is Gripe Water?
Based on an original formula developed by English nannies during the middle of the 19th century, Gripe Water is a liquid herbal supplement that contains a combination of soothing and calming herbs used to treat babies suffering from colic and other issues of stomach discomfort.

This is amazing for my son who is 4 months old and currently teething causing some stomach discomfort. He takes it very easily and you can see results almost instantly.
We loved this product! We mostly used it at night and It helped so much with my baby settling to sleep for the night, she often struggled to get out the built up wind from the day and would sometimes get quite worked up! Also found it really great with helping with the other end getting the gas out and keeping her regular!

I had tried something all natural before, but it was really expensive and to be honest I was never sure it was effective. My 18 month old daughter (who has terrible tummy issues) was lucky enough to be able to trial this product. Firstly as a mum I love that it is all organic and natural ingredients. I did use another brand of gripe water when my daughter was a newborn but I do remember feeling slightly guilty about all the additives in it so I would definitely opt for this one if you’re wanting to purchase gripe water. For me the taste was a pleasant herby sweet mix and my daughter seemed to enjoy it too. I do wish the dropper could fit another ml in it but that’s just a small ‘gripe’ I had. Other than that the bottle and dropper is easy to use. It’s hard to say how effective it was on her tummy although I have noticed her sleep improving during the night lately and I’m hoping this is due to the gripe water assisting with wind etc. My daughter has suffered from constipation ever since she started solids so I’m always looking for natural products out there that can help her. She has been fairly regular lately and that may be due to the kiwifruit extract in the gripe water. I guess I’ll only really know when I stop using the product and see if she goes backwards. Haven’t trialled it for hiccups yet but will update my review when I get the chance. Cheers for the opportunity to give this a go!
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is on the hunt for gripe water that works. I found it fantastic on hiccups (instant results), and settled his tummy very well. It should be renamed “poop explosions begone” as far as his trapped wind goes. He does not like the taste much and did give me a death stare when I gave it to him, but he quickly forget about the flavour with a little milk chaser. (I however found it quite tasty when I tried it). It also definitely helped with his teething, two bottom teeth have emerged over the past couple of weeks and the top teeth are on the way too, ouch! I found it helped settle him and we both have some sleep (winning!!). Great product and I will be buying some in the future.

Ds seemed to like the taste and took his dose with no problem.
I liked the packaging, and thought the integrated dropper was great. Only thing would have been to have a bigger dropper as it meant having to go back a few times to get the required dose!
Didn’t seem to work on ds hiccups but he has been more comfortable with his wind lately

Thanks for the opportunity to review this product! It came at the perfect time when my 4 month old has been really struggling with wind especially at night. Love that the product is natural and he didn’t mind the taste at all so easy to use! It hasn’t taken all of the problem away but has definitely improved it a lot. Will be buying it again!
First off can I please say thank you for allowing us to trial this product. My little one is so gassy and I can spend at times hours trying to settle her when it’s often just wind that won’t come up. This product does as it says. She had no trouble with wind. Only downfall for us was she was fussy with the flavor. She wasn’t a huge fan of it but I absolutely love that it’s organic and works better than other products I have tried. I will definitely keep using this. Thank you again.
We’ve had issues with lots of hiccups and gas which stemmed from my overactive letdown resulting in her having a bad latch & taking in air.
I was so happy to try this product, mostly as it was all natural and I didn’t want to give my daughter anything with chemicals that would be harsh on her tummy.
Loved the packaging which clearly stated how natural it is and dosage was nice and clear.
My daughter didn’t seem to mind the taste and took the gripe water happily.
I noticed straight away a decrease in her hiccups, she still gets them a bit but not for as long. I also noticed that although the gas hasn’t disappeared, the burps are a lot easier to get up, meaning we didn’t have to pat her back for 30mins at 4am anymore!
I would recommend parents give this product a go if they are experiencing similar issues we had.
My daughter seems so much happier after feeds now meaning she has happier parents too!
This arrived at a great time for us. With a newborn suffering from a lot of hiccups and bloating after every feed we were ready to try gripe water. I wasn’t so keen on the normal supermarket stuff and love that this is organic. She seemed to like the taste and takes the drops with no fuss. She still gets a lot of hiccups but I think that’s just her and she seems a lot more relaxed and happier after taking this!
Having a child who is on daily lifelong medication the last thing I wanted was for him to be vomiting up his medication. The thing I love about this product (aside from the fact it works) is that it can be given on an “as needed” basis where as similar products recommend to be given before a fed. Love that it is natural and is another tool in my belt!
My little miss has always had problems and discomfort with gas so was super keen to try this product out. She is also teething at the moment so it arrived at the perfect time. She seemed to not mind the taste and took the gripe water well with good results. Using this seems to have eased her discomfort a bit as she is less irritable at night and is easier to settle to sleep (this has always been an issue for us as she has trouble bringing up her wind and had terrible colic as a newborn, I only wish I found this product sooner). Would definitely recommend people try this if they have babies with similar issues, love love love that it is natural too!
