With added benefits for your little one, this innovative new wearable baby monitor is designed to allow parents to continuously and accurately monitor their child’s fever without disturbing their sleep.

This discreet, non-invasive device gently attaches to your baby’s underarm using an adhesive strip made from medical grade silicone that provides pain-free removal. It then transmits your baby’s temperature continuously to a free app on your smartphone or other device that will notify you if your baby’s temperature is in the high range (if push notifications are enabled).

The highlights:

  • Suitable for children aged 0 – 3 years
  • Automatic push notifications to a free app when temperature is outside of normal range
  • Tracks symptoms and medication
  • App allows you to create individual profiles so you can monitor your children individually
  • FeverSmart uses low energy Bluetooth, with emissions considerably lower than phones and other household items
  • The Bluetooth range is up to 40m in open sight. The base station should be within 1.5m of the monitor

Hitting the shelves mid-Feb 2018 (so consider this your VIP insight), the FeverSmart Monitor retails at $149.99 and will be available at local pharmacies and baby outlets.

I finaly got to try it out and once I finaly got it going it made it easy to keep an eye on our daughters temp overnight. I had an issue with the app at first so had to delete and reinstall it but it worked fine after that.

What a great product. Our 16 months old is a real wriggler and to have something like this really eased monitoring him. The app is easy to install and use, you do need to read the instructions how to use it but pretty easy. The patch was a bit of a battle to put on him but once that was done, it didn’t bother him whatsoever. I would highly recommend this to anyone with small people, it just gives you the peace of mind you need and you can trust this product , it delivers. Thank you.

I was super excited to be picked to trial this amazing product!
I found it easy to set up on the app and loved that u could set up all the kids separately!
I found that the sticky bit was lovely and gentle but on my sweaty lil man it just kept coming off!
I found using it on the app a bit frustrating… anytime I got a phone call I’d have to restart the sessions and couldn’t add onto a previous 1 (which I think would have been ideal)…. the 8min “warm up” I think is a little too long!
I love the color changes for the different temps cause u can judge what they will need with just a glance! Love the cute little battery pack it comes in but think with little movers something that can attach to them would be handy!

Following on to my previous post:
I got to trial on my 2 and 7 year old. The kids were not fazed about monitor on them and older boy said he could not feel it, I even left it on them for most of the night and day to see if any reaction and none on both.
Had a few problems with not getting adhesive patch to stick to monitor but stuck well to my fingers lol. I did get the knack the next few try’s just needed to press down firmly.
Patches can be stored in the monitor ready for next use which is handy.

Miss 2 had a fever and when notified in the red zone I could immediately attend to her and sponge her down and record pain relief on the app. Every minute the temperature is read and it was a piece of mind seeing temp come down.

Place on the patch, go into the app and Bluetooth to monitor, let it warm up and then pop up your feet and relax. You will be notified if temp is high or if lost connection which does happen but should reconnect.
A lot of thought has gone into the product and although it is pricey (hopefully they have specials), It would be very beneficial for first aid kit and travel. Patches can be brought in a 4 pack for about $10 which isn’t too bad.

    Ideas:
*Needs an on/off switch for power consumption.
*Recommend having 70% Isopropyl wipes with each adhesive stickers as stated for cleaning monitor after use.
Thanks again for this trial. Its an aswome product and I’m sure someone would appreciate one of these for a prezzie for those who cant afford to buy themselves.

I was so excited to be able to have the chance to review this! Ours actually came in perfect timing before our 1 year old was hit with a bug, but it was my husband that got to trial it as I was away for a few days. He set up the app on his phone and would send me a screenshot of our daughter’s temperature every time it updated, so I was able to see that her temp was coming down when it needed to. It made me feel a lot more at ease being away but still being able to keep an eye on her temp without my husband having to keep waking her to check her temps! The adhesive strips didn’t bother her at all and he had no problems at all using the app. Such a cool invention, will be interesting to see how my other kids would find it, I’m sure I will find out during the winter months! Thanks again Kidspot 🙂

Thank you so much for the opportunity to trial this product. I had seen them advertised and thought they looked great.
My youngest son who is 2 got sick with a nasty bug going around so we had a chance to trial it.
I found tha app easy to download and liked how the batteries were provided. I found the 8 minutes warmup time a little long and my child got a bit annoyed with me attaching the adhesive strips to him and wanted to keep removing it eventually he forgot about it though. Some more adhesive strips provided would’ve been great.
I liked how you could check from your phone once my son was in bed, something that’s not so easy with traditional thermometers. I will definitely be looking to purchase some more strips so we can use this over the winter months.

Firstly thank you so much for selecting me to trial this. I have waited until my son, almost 23 months, started to feel not quite himself, and this week he certainly has not been at his best. Teething and the change of seasons has knocked him around and it was the perfect chance to see what his temperatures really are over night, as the best judge of that for me is sneaking into his room when he is asleep and trying to put a finger or two down his top to feel his chest/back for how hot he is. Not a chance he will sit still long enough to have his temperature tested either. The app was easy to install and set up. Pairing the device was also simple. The only issue I had was with the sticky part actually sticking to the monitor, but I did manage to get it to stick to my son and eventually he stopped trying to pry it off. It was extremely interesting to watch the next morning when his temperature lowered or increased during the night. I did lose the connection 3 times but I can only assume that occurred when he was moving around to get into a new position, but it did not last long. I also documented his symptoms and pamol dosages which is extremely handy to have noted in each session.
I highly recommend this product for all parents that have unwell children, it would be a very good investment.
Once again a big thank you

We got to trial out the product when my 6 month old was unwell with a virus over easter weekend. I found it very convenient to measure his temp without distressing him. He was sleeping far more then usual and it was perfect to check on his temp for my peace of mind without waking him. I do wish I had familirised myself with usage/ set up prior to needing it in the middle of the night! Adhesive patches were very effective and blue tooth range great. A handy wee device to have, thank you for letting us be part of the trial

This would be perfect for our 11 month old wigglely baby. It’s such a chore to take her temperature from our old fashion armpit thermometer, it’s almost as though we are wrestling with her. Furthermore, the breeze from monitoring her temperature from the phone means that we won’t risk rousing her from the precious sleep.

I have enjoyed reviewing this little unit and I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. Firstly I love the idea behind it, I hate it when the kids are sick and it takes forever to get them settled so there is nothin worse than having to annoy them and in settle them for a temperature check. I used this on my son when he was feeling under the weather recently and the monitor worked really well, he didn’t reach a fever but it was so handy to monitor him and I felt comfortable and a bit more at ease knowing I could check his temp easily without much hassle.

My favourite part of this was the little lightening bolt monitor, I was really worried my son would struggle with having this on and would b me really irritated by it. But it was the complete opposite, he was happy for me to apply it and wasn’t fussed by it at all so the design sits comfortably under the arm without much complaint. BUT he’s a sweaty baby at the best of time, and he sweated off the monitor patch a few times, so I had to re apply it which was a bit of a pain. I know that the tape needs to be gentle for babies skin but it does actually need to be strong enough to stick and stay on.

The range for the Bluetooth signal worked well without any interference and it was really easy and stress free to set up with my phone. I’m also super happy with the portable charging pack that came with it, it makes charging up when away from power sooooo easy!!

The app has good options on it for keeping track of medication timings also, so you know when the last dose was (I always loose track, this is so handy!)

Overall I think it’s a really good option; and is definitely something we will continue to use for the whole family even the adults! With the exception of the stickiness of the tape (I would like to maybe see a stronger tape for older children? ) thanks so much Kidspot for the chance to review this! I highly recommend it if you are like me and hate waking a grumpy child for a temperature check this is an awesome streee saving device that gives piece of mind.

We were looking to invest in one of these digital thermometers. We were glad this opportunity came up. After receiving the product few days later, my husband felt very sick with these bugs going around. So we really got to test the FeverSmart. We saw a it being a huge bonus when you are able to monitor the temperature on your smart phone. Things that could be improved.
    1. As the fever comes down and you begin to sweat then adhesive looses its stickiness. I suppose I would invest in this not only for my kids but the full family. I am unsure if kids sweat less.
    2. We felt the 8 mins warm up time was a bit long. Being digital thought it would be instant.
    3. We also found that the connection was dropping even though we were very close to the router and everything was in close proximity.

What we liked about the FeverSmart
    1. Convenience of monitoring it on your smart phone.
    2. Alert when the temperature rises to red.
    3. Its wireless range covered our entire house.
    4. Its vibrant colour and design
    5. Its portable and comes with a powerbank to include in your medical kit.

When it comes to kids it really gives you that peace of mind know what the temp is on your smart phone. This is something worth investing in.
The FeverSmart comes in a nice compact box. Highly recommended for family with kids. Definitely for families with really small children.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to trial this product. It is one of those things though that I was reluctant to have to use it as it would mean my 15 month old was sick 🙁 Alas with the bugs going around and the cooler weather, she inevitably got sick starting with a common cold and progressing to a tummy bug.

When the monitor arrived I was pleased that it included batteries and was well packaged. Unfortunately my iPhone 4s wasn’t compatible with the app which was quite frustrating but my husband’s samsung S7 was and so he was able to download it on his phone.

When we came to use it, it was great being able to read the temperature from the phone instantly and to have peace of mind knowing we wouldn’t have to keep going into her room and waking her. It seemed to give back accurate readings but wasn’t too sure about the data once our daughter slept with her arms up (she doesn’t normally sleep the whole night with her arms down).

Overall an excellent product that I would recommend to others as it a great advance in technology but I know for many families the cost of this product would not necessarily be very financially viable.

P.S would have been good to have more adhesives to attach with!
