First off thanks so much for letting us trial these sets my daughter thought xmas had come early. We got the heartlake city resort and unikitty cloud car. Miss 9 is a very arty and creative girl so Lego really gets her mind thinking in what’s going to happen next she often just looks at the pictures and builds. I had so much fun with her in this trial tho it was a rainy evening when we got it out and we did it all together I really enjoyed it. She often hosts kooks at the pictures and builds I tend to like every bit the right way tho. She also has the Lego cruise ship which she started to build and used bits to combine and use her unikitty plane with, she was also happy to see another new Lego girl she hadn’t seen before.

Thank you so much for choosing us to be a reviewer of the Lego products.
We received the Disney Rapunzel’s Traveling Caravan 41157 and the Elves The Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack 41196.
We started on the Rapunzel as it was the smaller of the 2. My daughter loved following the instructions getting each piece required and adding it to the creation.. She liked doing this one mostly by herself though as it was a bit easier and she followed the instructions really well and completed it quite quickly.
The Elves Lego set was more of a team effort as it was a lot bigger and she did need assistance as it was a bit trickier. Firstly it started off as me and my daughter however my husband soon jumped in to help too, it was nice to do something with just our eldest as we have 3 kids we dont have a lot of one on one time and it was an activity we all enjoyed doing. It is a great bonding experience and a great way to loose a few hours.
The Elves one we completed over a couple of days.
I love how the Lego teaches the kids to follow instructions shows each bit they need for the next step and really gets their brain going then also can bring out their creative side, mixing bricks, characters and accessories from each set for huge amounts of endless play. My daughter even made stories up to go along with the characters.
We had never played with Lego before so it was all new to us but the we really enjoyed it and was excited to mix the sets up and create other things with the Lego. My daughter has even requested a Lego set for Christmas and also plays with her sets daily making new creations.
Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity

Thanks so much for giving miss 6 and miss 7 the chance to review these lego sets.

We received LEGO unikitty 41451 and LEGO friends 41347 – Heartlake city resort.

We started with the lego unikitty set.
This was an awesome set for the 2 girls to work together in team work following instructions and working together. They needed very little parent help with this set and they had loads of fun making it.

We then pulled all the bricks apart and “free played” to build our own creations.

The lego friends Heartlake resort set we spread out over a few different days, after school and finishing on the weekend.
This was an EPIC set with 1017 pieces total!

This was such a cool set to do as a family. Both me and the girls dad all working together the 4 of us on this huge lego set.

This set inspired and feeded the girls imaginations. With so many little details like fruit inside a blender. The parasailer etc.

The girls almost didn’t want to pull the set down once completed but did reluctantly for free play.
They used bricks from both sets in the review to free play which is awesome. The options are endless for ideas.. let their imaginations run wild!

We feel very blessed to been given the chance to do this review.

Was so nice to spend family time together!

Working on the lego sets following instructions is good for the kids to concentrate.. follow directions and diagrams.. and work together..

While the free play is a chance to build and create what ever they can imagine!

Lego is suited for everyone.. I think mum and dad had as much fun with this review as miss 6 and miss 7.

Now to add more lego to the list for the kids for Xmas this year! It’s great fun!

      Thanks so much!

Wow, you can’t imagine the excitement when my daughter opened the package, we were lucky enough to receive the sets 41333 Oilivia’s Mission Vehicle and 41347 Heartlake City Resort.

At first I let my daughter who is 7 just play with the Lego and make some fun creations using her imagination, it was fun to see what she created. Her imagination is definitely better than mine as I kept looking to the box for inspiration but she didn’t need to lol.

After a day or two of this creativity she decided it was time we made the Lego as per the instructions. I loved how easy the instructions were to follow, Definitely easy enough for my 7 year old, with me only helping when she wasn’t sure or couldn’t find the right piece. It was a lovely project to do together, we had little races to find the next piece. It was nice to have a project that the two of us could enjoy and do toghether over the week.

It took her a few days to finish the sets as we had to do it between school, homework and after school activities but she never lost interest. She stopped several times to just play with it as it was during the process too.
Once complete it was fun to play with the finished Lego sets too – It is nice that the Lego people in these sets are a bit more lifelike than the ones in other sets. My daughter has spent endless hours since we finished just playing with the sets creating different stories as she played.

I am eagerly awaiting her to decide she is ready to dismantle her creations so we can mix it with her other Lego sets and see what new creations we can come up with.

Thank you very much for giving us these Lego sets to review, we have had a lot of fun together creating and playing and I can see the fun lasting for years and years to come.

We were lucky enough to be selected to trial two of these products!

Firstly, Wow i did not think my two kids could play for so long together without having an argument. I think you have found my solution for kids playing nicely together! It was nice to get down and spend some time with the kids helping them find pieces while they built the sets. Then getting to watch them pull it all apart and use their imagination to create their own. It’s amazing what they could both come up with on their own.

We received the LEGO Disney Sleeping Beauty’s Fairytale Castle and the LEGO Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack.
My children’s faces lit up so much when I opened it before they went to school. My son and daughter both worked on creating these sets. My son enjoyed the Elves one the most as it had a dragon which he thinks is pretty awesome! Whereas my daughter enjoyed the Disney Lego set which she loves changing up maleficent and sleeping beauty. The kids had no bad comments on these sets.

They have both played so well together using the sets together with the dragon, disney characters and their homes to play allsorts from saving the princess to the dragon destroying everything. I will definitely consider purchasing more LEGO like these for the kids as it creates endless hours of play.

From the kids and myself, Thank you very very much for choosing our household to review this!

Firstly wow thanks for this amazing opportunity to trial these wonderful lego sets. We received the Lego friends Heartland city 41347 and the Lego Elves Aira and the song of the dragon 41193.

Both my children my son (age 8) and my daughter (just turned 10). were so excited that we immediately began building. It was really really great to see them working together to build the lego friends set. They were taking turn finding the pieces while the other one build. My son then wanted to start on the other set because it had a dragon so I helpedto find the pieces while he build it. Over the weekend early Saturday morning (as the kids were very eager to get there lego sets finished). My husband helped my son finish off the elves set while I helped my daughter work on the lego friends set. It was nice to be doing something together as a family which we all really enjoyed.

Throughout there building my daughter kept telling me how much she loved all the little details in the set, as there were lots of really cool details such as the smoothie maker with all the little pieces of fruit and the suitcase with the sunglasses in it. She has outgrown many of her toys but she still always enjoys building with lego and often saves up her pocket money to buy lego sets. I love that lego grows with your child.

My son has some problems with his hands and a couple of years ago had surgery on them. The physio often tells me that doing fine motor activities such as lego is really good for his fingers. He loved building the lego set especially when his dad got involved too.

I love to see my kids mix up the sets and use there imaginations, it always amazes me with the things they come up with. They will often work together when doing this. Yesterday they used some boxes as houses and used different lego pieces to build tables and sets for a party (see photo). Then the added food and played with this together for some time.

Thank you once again we all have had a great time with both lego sets which I’m sure my children will enjoy playing with for a long time.

Thanks so much Kidspot for these fantastic LEGO sets – it was like Christmas when they arrived and I couldn’t wait to see Miss 8’s eyes light up when she saw them.

We received the LEGO Friends ‘Olivia’s Mission Vehicle’ set (ages 6-12, #41333) and the LEGO Elves ‘Aira and the song of the wind dragon’ set (ages 8-12, #41193). These sets are a particularly great choice for my daughter – her eyes indeed did light up when she saw them!

She loves the little figures in the LEGO Friends set (including the Olivia mini-doll and the cute cat!); she also loves the Elves set with all its components – the mini elves, dragon, bat and so much more!

My husband and I both sat down with Miss 8 to play the LEGO with her. This was fun for her as she loves it when we join in and play as well. We feel that LEGO provides the perfect opportunity to spend quality time together as a family.

Firstly, we helped her to build with the LEGO bricks according to the instruction booklets in each set. Then we let her mix the bricks up and free play with them. Following the instructions initially was a fantastic learning exercise for her (without her realising it!). We explained that if she followed the LEGO instructions carefully, she wouldn’t miss out a vital step when trying to create the different elements that appear on the box.

But it was the mixing up of the bricks and the free play that really inspired our daughter and helped to spark her little imagination! She spent around 2 hours on Sunday afternoon just mixing up bricks from both sets and re-creating things to suit herself. She put the parrot and bat from the LEGO Elves set in the vehicle with Olivia and the cat in the Lego Friends set and so on! I mean, why not? I believe that’s what makes LEGO such a consistently-popular activity for children. Kids can mix up different LEGO sets and keep re-creating to suit themselves! It promotes and sustains creativity – sometimes for hours!

Following instructions is a big part of life and children need to be able to develop this skill. But the free-play aspect is also important for inspiring creativity and allowing little imaginations to run wild. LEGO is a wonderful activity for both of these reasons. I can see why LEGO is loved world-wide – it is so versatile, creative, educational AND fun.

    8. Wgtnness 05/11/2018 at 3:50 pm

We were so excited to receive the UniKitty – Cloud Car and Mias Campervan Lego Sets.
My 5 year old loves unicorns and cats so was perfect. She helped me put the set together and has has had lots of fun playing with this set. Both my 5 year old and 9 year old helped me with the Campervan set and they have been playing none stop with it since.

I love how my girls make up wee games and have imaginary play with the Lego sets. They have mixed up both sets and play games together or they play by themselves and make wee things up, going camping, riding the horse etc etc.

I found this was a great way to connect with my kids because we worked together to get the sets made up and so we were having quality time together. Then we can talk together about the adventures they have with their Lego and about how they play with their Lego.

You can then change the Lego you have made and make another sort of vehicle instead of a campervan and build different things depending on what type of adventure you want. You dont just have to follow instructions and build what it says. Can give you other ideas.

Thank you so much for this opportunity. I will definately be buying more sets. Fantastic stuff

    9. Keryn247 05/11/2018 at 3:05 pm

We received the Caravan one, can’t say that it resembles Rapunzel in any way though, so maybe differs from the description above. They don’t have names printed on the box just a number but it looks like a campervan with a horse, the horse is very popular in our house. It also has a Mia and a Stephanie. We also received a little art room, which must be “Emma’s Deluxe Bedroom”.

Thank you so much for letting us trial these, I love Lego and as I child I would sit behind the couch (yes BEHIND the couch to hide the mess from my mum) for hours building different houses etc. but I had very standard Lego, it is really good to see girly Lego, for girls who like to build girly stuff. It really appeals to my daughter who otherwise isn’t really that interested in playing with the Lego, like my son will.

The campervan is awesome, but a mum project in our house as my daughter 7yrs said herself ‘I’m not good at building stuff’ fortunately as stated above I love Lego so, all in a days work for this mum. My daughter loves playing with it now that it is built and ready to play with, she loves the horse and the fruit in the fruit bowl, and of course the little figures. We love their sunnies you can attach to their hair and hats, very cool touch.

I’m so glad there were instructions on how to put the halter on the horse as this seemed like a magician illusion until we found the page, I think this should have been on page one as that was all Miss 7 wanted to play with.

The little art room was cute, my daughter loves art so win there. It is also nice the girls have a home to go to once they are back from their camping holiday 🙂 We also love that we have 3 different girls to play with which is awesome as this will be played with more as a playset rather than be dismantled and reinvented. That is as long as I can keep it away from Mr 5 who turns everything into an aeroplane.

Thanks again, and I’ll try to pop a pic up of our completed caravan

Man how did I miss this one lol

We as adults have grown up with Lego all our lives and collected many amazing sets over the years, we are collectors of Lego and now have got our 3 Children into Lego. We build many sets and display them in the house and we have a huge Lego fun table for freestyle building. We encourage our children to get into it as it’s great for the mind and it’s a very calming hobbie. Yes please

    12. jennybeetle 18/10/2018 at 1:00 pm

My favorite thing to build as a child was Lego train sets and all the things that went with a railway line, we had complex set ups all over our house. My daughter is 6yrs old and loves to build with her Lego too. We would love to trial this.

    13. Butch1289 17/10/2018 at 8:13 pm

My son would love the lego, as a family it would be a great option to sit down and spend time together. I love building things while he enjoys seeing my face when he knocks them down

    14. Sophrosyne 17/10/2018 at 7:30 pm

My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves LEGO and has taught my 5.5 to build many incredible palaces.

    15. ibnita 17/10/2018 at 6:14 pm

I wanted to be Rapunzel when i was a child so i spent many afternoons with a large set of wooden building blocks creating my tower.

My 8.5 year old would love to trial the Lego, the only blocks we can afford are the cheaper alternative brands.

    16. Amyduff 17/10/2018 at 5:00 pm

    19. Flutterbye 16/10/2018 at 11:42 am

When I was a kid I loved to build rock dams at the creek and huts in the bush out of Ponga Leaves and Tea Tree Brush. Those were the days, outside play everyday. My son would love to trial the Lego, he has just turned 7 and loves putting Lego sets together with his brother.

    20. snowflake61213 16/10/2018 at 10:28 am

    22. Houda.elbanna 16/10/2018 at 3:49 am

I used to love playing board games with my dad. My son is almost 8 years old, a big LEGO fan and is very articulate so would be really good and helpful to you guys at giving feedbacks.

    23. ZoeA 15/10/2018 at 2:36 pm

I will admit my imagination was quite limited and my parents couldn’t afford Lego but I did have bricks of which I built many a ‘tower’ – my 6 year old boy is Lego crazy and so am I as I didn’t realise the things you could build with Lego – until he started showing me – he saves his pocket money up for Lego (and I top it up based on good behaviour) 🙂 My 3 year old girl enjoys getting the pieces for him and building anything with wheels. We would be ecstatic if we were chosen to trial!

    24. jinniemac 15/10/2018 at 1:58 pm

Oooh I absolutely loved building living room tents our of blankets and sheets! We would bring in little bowls of snacks and torches – it was fantastic..until you had to tidy it all up again! Hahahaha – My children are 7 and 4 and at the moment – they love playing anything that has miniature characters – Lego, LOL dolls etc…Pink and Purple, glittery and sparkly – thats a winner!

    25. elishavdz 15/10/2018 at 1:24 pm

I was always building castles and houses for my lego people as a child, it would take me hours (much to the annoyance of my little brother, who just wanted to play).
      My daughter is 7yrs old.

    26. Mrs.TMF 15/10/2018 at 10:45 am

Both my 10yr old stepson and 2 1/2yr old granddaughter are lego mad, they’d love to trial these packs and I’d love to be enjoying the adventure with them 🙂

    29. My3girls 15/10/2018 at 8:07 am

I have 3 girls aged 3, 8 and 10 and lego is one of the few activities we can all do together. Doesn’t matter what age you are its great to be creative. I always loved building houses and cars when I played with lego, the variety these days makes this easier and loads more fun (and creative) id love to be chosen as part of the trial
      thanks
