I have not used home wax strips before, I’ve shaved, had professional waxes and used hair removal cream so was excited to try the strips out myself. I had to get my husband to do it first as I was too nervous of the pain but it turned out not too bad! I am not sure if I will change to the strips all the time, but depending on how long it lasts then I might for convenience
I received these on Friday & have finally had a chance to try them out!
They are so easy to pull apart!
Each strip has equal amounts of wax on which I didn’t think would be the case so that was awesome.
I also thought they would curl up once separated & be hard to place down but they didn’t.
On the very first strip I did I found it was pretty painful! But after that first initial sting it wasn’t so bad.
I was able to use each strip up to 5 times without it losing its grip so I loved that!
I found if you pull slowly it doesn’t pull the hair with it so the faster you pull the more hair you remove.
I’m pretty impressed with these & I’d probably buy them to use again!
my 14 year old daughter was super keen to trial these wax strips! She was a little apprehensive as had never waxed before. She said it hurt a little, but was not as bad as she thought it was going to be.
The strips were easy to seperate and had a nice smell, they were also easy to apply and when removed left very little wax behind.
She found that she still had to run the shaver over her legs after as not all hairs were removed by the strips, she used the wipes after she had finished and overall said she was keen to use again.
The packaging is simple and attractive with the instructions printed on the box. Yay for no silly piece of paper to lose and the box can be popped into the recycling
The strips themselves are easy to use, pull apart, smooth on, rub a few times and pull off.
I would suggest at least 2-3 runs in the direction of hair growth and a really quick pull as this got the best removal results for me. A word of warning, watch where you put the half you are not using so it doesn’t stick to a surface or your fingers.
Very little wax was left behind and the wipes removed it easily, each strip could be used 3 or more times, so I have more than enough for next time.
I’m left with nice smelling, smooth legs but I do have a wee red rash that I’m sure will go down in a bit.
I would definitely use them again
I trialed the product and loved the smell and easy application. It got alot of hair off in 3 tries. I used them on my partner (male hairy legs) to test the strips on thick hairs. I used 3 strips and got off majority hair from the front of the leg. I could use the same strip for 3 wax attempts.
cons: it is hard to wax all hair if hairs are going in different directions, it leaves a few wax patches on the leg and is hard to get off with the finishing wipes.
Good packaging, appealing graphics. Nice scent and it did a pretty good job of my partners hairy leg! Pain was minimum apparently haha. Definitely could have a few more finish wipes as a lot more wax strips than those. End result was a smooth leg, no redness. I’d give them 8/10

My legs felt really soft afterwards. I’m definitely going to wax from now on. I always thought it is too painful, but it wasn’t too bad. Thank you for letting me review this wonderful product.

The packaging is very presentable with easy to follow instructions and precautions. Great size to be easily stored or great for travelling.
I don’t often wax due to the pain. The last time I waxed I warmed up a pot of wax and used fabric strips. I found the Veet Easy-Gel Leg Wax Strips very user friendly with a lot less fiddling around. The wax strips were easy to pull apart and smell amazing. I like how you don’t have to rub them together to warm them up before applying. The strips molded perfectly to my legs and I also tried it on my foot. The hair on my legs was 1.5mm short so it was good to try this product to see how effective it was at removing the shortest of hairs. I wasn’t overly impressed. A lot of hairs did stay behind. Luckily though, I got about 4 goes out of each strip before it wasn’t sticky any more. I do have sensitive skin and was left with a reddish stubbly looking rash. This was gone the next day. The strips were more successful on my feet where the hairs were a lot longer. Ripped them all out in one go and were left feeling very smooth. I did use the Perfect Finish Wipes which are included to remove any wax stuck onto the skin. I found these absolutely useless! Did not completely remove the wax from my skin at all and then was all used up after wiping the spot on my leg and my foot. Water struggled to take the wax off completely as well. The instructions do advised to use some Baby Oil. So have some on hand just in case when using this product.
If you are environmentally conscious, this is not the product for you. There is a lot of waste from using this product. But it is very convenient.
I probably wouldn’t buy them again mostly because of the pain factor and the amount of waste produced. Overall I give this product a 7/10.
I found these wax strips easy to use and easy instructions to follow as well. One wax strip didn’t last more than two wax pulls for me as it soon lost it’s stickyness. However they were effective and got the job done!
My legs were left looking a bit spotty but that is normal for me after a wax and the spots soon disappear. Overall a good product if you are looking for a quick and easy DIY wax.

The Veet easy gel wax strips are one of the best wax strips I’ve ever used, super easy – just peel apart, apply and pull! I used to wax my armpits and used two strips per arm. I was able to remove 95% of the hairs with the shorter ones needing to be pulled with tweezers.
The oily wipes were great at removing the excess wax left behind all though I wish they included at least 4 in the pack.
Overall these were great and I would definitely purchase again.

I’ve tried a few brands of wax strips and these are my favourite – they smell nice, are easy to apply and don’t leave a whole lot of wax residue behind. The post-wax wipes are quite dry but still reasonably effective. I do find it hard to get all the hairs as I can’t see them all, but can feel them later when outside and the wind blows lol. One stripe does cover a lot of area so can get a good 3 or so uses out of one packet.
I had used the wax strips in the past, but that was a while ago and I’d stopped using them as they always left me with very dry skin – but I was happy to give them a go again. The new design is better and it’s really nice that you don’t have to warm the strips up in between your hands anymore before applying. It’s not the most pleasant experience, but also not the worst when it comes to hair removal. The hairs came of fine, it is a shame that it seems to work better on longer hairs than short ones, as you’d want to nip them in the bud as soon as they rear their ugly heads again, although with two kids who has time to do that
I was pleasantly surprised that the strips didn’t leave my legs feeling all dry this time. The biggest test however will be how long it will actually take the hairs to reappear.
As soon as I received the email from Kidspot that I was chosen to be a reviewer, I made the “effort” to grow the hairs on my legs!
Upon inspection I was surprised that the box stated “Acai Berries scent”. It definitely has a berry smell and not the usual horrid home wax smell. TICK!
20 wax strips was the perfect amount to do both half legs. (I actually had two left over after cleaning up the stray hairs)
I thought the Finish wipes could have been larger or even had an extra one as I still had a little bit of residue left.
To wrap up, I would definitely purchase these again over the brands I have in the past – provided the price point was good. I would absolutely recommend them. The smell is pleasing, the mess is almost nil and the process is simple and effective.
*To Add: hubby did the backs of my calves as I find it difficult, awkward and slightly painful to do. Being a well groomed man he does a great job. If you are new to wax strips and are doing it yourself perhaps have someone give you a hand.
I haven’t waxed my legs for a long time and the last time I did it was such a messy disaster! Using these strips was great for a mess free experience. They were easy to use and had a pleasant smell. Only a little wax was left on my legs after each time. They also looked like they pulled a lot of hairs each time and I felt they were not as painful to rip off as the last time I waxed. However, I wasn’t impressed with the amount of hairs still left on my legs. The instructions say to only do one part then leave it another day before doing it again and as my legs were so patchy from all the hairs missed by the strips, I went back to shaving after I’d tried to do it on both legs. It’ll be interesting to see if they grow back patchy too and I’ll give it another go maybe on my armpits instead but don’t think they’re really for me. I’m not the biggest fan of pain and my children didn’t enjoy watching me wince each time I pulled out more hairs, especially when the majority of the hairs are still left on my legs!
Sorry – to add more to my comment, I think if you are already waxing, or keen to give it a go, this would be a great option and I would suggest them to my friends to try. I’m not sure on the price, but it would probably work out better or the same as shaving.
The waxing left the skin smoother and all hairs were gone – with dark hair you can still see spots with shaving, but there was none with the wax. I think the biggest advantage of shaving is you don’t have to do it often, and that’s difficult to comment on without waiting some time to see how long it lasts.
I haven’t waxed my legs before, although I did my armpits waxed a few years ago. Both my 13 yo daughter and I tried these – thanks for the chance to trial them! My daughter commented on the fragrance immediately and liked it – I could barely smell it, but at least it wasn’t a strong, unpleasant smell.
I tried using in on my legs, but as I’d shaved only 3 days ago, I couldn’t get any hair out, although I thought they were long enough. Instead I just got a patch of wax stuck on my leg, which was difficult to remove. I think it would be good to have more than one of the wipes, I didn’t want to open another one, as my daughter really liked the product and will use it again.
My daughter used it and was very happy with the result. Because she has smaller legs, I think she will get more than 2 uses out of the pack, which is why I think extra wipes would be good.
They are easy to use and leave your legs very smooth, but I think I’ll probably stick to shaving to be honest, it’s annoying having to wait for the hairs to get long enough to wax.

Preparing to use: easy to seperate, apply and smell blimmin good!
Using: Ouch! However – I usually shave and wax once a blue moon. Left a bit of wax on my legs but was able to use the strip to get most of it off. Was able to use one strip three times (yahoo).
After: Used the wipes which smelt great too! And took the excess wax off no problem, also left my legs feeling moisturised. I have had real problems with shaving rash lately and 2 hours post wax I don’t have a nasty rash! (Winning)
Overall: good product! Very sore but I think it’d get better the more you did it. Would use it again.
Great to be chosen for this product. I’ve never waxed, so completely new to it. Liked the smell of the strips, very easy to use, not painful, but hard to clean off the Wax left over even with the wipes provided could have done with a couple more.
I would definitely buy the product.
Tried these today. We tried them on my legs first (usually shave them but didn’t for a few days to try the strips. They were easy to peel apart and to stick on and didn’t hurt when removed but unfortunately, I did not find them very effective. It was difficult to tell much difference from the before and after pictures! Tried several times on the same patch of leg but still not very effective. In case they didn’t work very well on short hairs (although the product claims to), my husband “volunteered” to let me try them on his chest. The strip certainly did pull some hairs out but again, not very effectively and you would have to do the same patch multiple times over. The wipes smelled nice but were not very effective at removing the leftover wax either. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed with the performance of this product and would not buy it.

I have just recently used the Veet normal wax strips which I find are the best for doing it yourself at home so I was looking forward to trying these and I was skeptical they would be just as sore and messy when I saw them but they were so much easier to pull off, did a fabulous job and was hardly any residue compared to the other ones. And the not needing to warm them first was a bonus. So I would totally recommend them
Thanks for the chance to try these wax strips. The packaging is nice with good choice of colors used. Inside are the wax strips and two wax removal wipes. I was expecting to see a more detailed instruction sheet included, but there was none. As a novice waxer, the instructions on the pack were clear and simple, it would be good if it said how many waxes you could get from one box. The strips were easy to pull apart and apply. The scent is lovely and the color means you can see any wax left on your legs. I found it not too uncomfortable painwise, though a bit more tender around the ankles. I did have to go over the same spot a couple of times to get all of the hairs. Only small amounts of wax were left on my legs, with my fingers getting pretty sticky. The wipes worked well to remove this and felt moisturizing on my skin. Overall, a no fuss home waxing solution that would be quick and easy for those used to waxing. A bit more tedious and time consuming for novices like me. Thanks again.
Before using the product I showered and applied baby powered on my legs. Then applied the wax strips after parting them. They worked so efficiently and effective the red didn’t last long. For myself and mum we normally shave but finding the waxing is more effective.

I use to do my own waxing at home back in the days when we had to heat the wax tub multiple times in between waxes and use the cloth strips.
These ready to use strips were super easy to use, strip it open, slap it on and pull….. results super smooth hair free skin!
As a working mum it does get a little difficult at times to book in appointments with salons, so this at home Veet wax is very handy to have on hand.
I had to use these on my arms because didn’t really have anything on my legs. I didn’t find these painful or messy at all and loved how easy and fast the process was.
It took me less than 15 mins to get both my arms done I was able to use 1 set of wax strip multiple times on my arms so have some left which I can use again in about 4weeks time, so it’s great value for money.
There was very little left over wax on my skin so the after wipes were great for that and I was able to use 1 wipe for both my arms.
I would highly recommend this product and can say that it is one of the easiest and effective home wax that I have used.

I am not a water but was keen to try these out. They were super easy to use and have a lovely smell but I found they didn’t pick up as much hair as I thought they would meaning I had to go over the same spot a couple of times which is not ideal when waxing. On the plus side the fact that you can still use the same strip for a couple of times is great so you are not wasting strips. Still hurt a lot but I don’t know if any waxing doesn’t hurt but pleased with the results in the end. I also liked the after wipe which felt nice and soothing and smelt lovely.

The Veet Easy-Gel™ Legs Wax Strips arrived this week, for me to put to the test, which was perfect timing because me and miss 7 were off to stay in Wellington for a girls weekend and go to the ballet.
I took the wax strips with me to do at the hotel. They are in a small box so easy to pop in your bag and take with you.
I have never waxed my legs at home, I usually just shave or visit the salon to get waxed (very occasionally), but Veet have made the home job experience quick and easy. The instructions were easy to follow and the wax strips couldn’t have been simpler. Strips are in sets of 2 (there are 20 in each box) so you just peel each set apart to produce 2 wax strips and you just pop it on your leg, no need to warm between your hands or anything.
They smell nice and do a really thorough job. A little bit of wax was left on my leg after the first pull, but when I was tidying up all the small hairs I had missed at the end I just went over the wax spots with the strip again and it picked the rest up off my leg. You can keep using the strips several times, before they loose their stickiness. It was also fairly painless, obviously there was a little sting the first time, until my legs got used to it, but this was no different to any other waxing experience I have had.
I waxed from knee downwards and only needed 8 strips, so the box will easily do 2 wax sessions, possibly 3. I had a look online and this product averages around $15, which makes it extremely good value id say. $7.50 a wax is far cheaper than a salon job, and I’d honestly say the end result was just as good if not better.
I also found it better to be in control and do it at my own pace, as opposed to the salon waxes I’ve had.
I will definitely be buying these again as my legs feels so silky smooth
The Veet Easy- Gel legs wax strip instructions were easy to understand and the strips easy to peel and apply.
I had to go over each area a couple of times and still not all hair was completely removed (maybe because I epilate already and the hair is tough?). I could use each strip 3-4 times and it just removed hair, which was good.
And I used it again to remove any residual wax. The finish wipes worked well at getting left on skin wax off, but there is only two in the box!
Overall not as strong as salon waxing, but a great in home product.
First time trying these and first time waxing. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I don’t know what I was expecting but removing the strips was a bit sore and left the odd bit of hair behind. I redid it after leaving the hairs to grow longer and it worked much better, with about the same pain level. If you are a waxer these would be a great product as they don’t hurt too much.
I was so lucky to be able to try these. It has been a long time since I have used was strips as I have very sensitive skin. These are amazing very soft and gentle on the skin.
They make your legs feel so soft after you have finished. They pull the hairs straight from the root and dosnt hurt at all.
I will definitely be using them again I love the way my legs feel and the slight scent is lovely.

Loved this product! Being a mum of an18 month old that doesn’t like sleep and has been walking since she was 8 months, I haven’t found it easy or had the time to really take care of myself as much as I should. I used to use pots of wax to remove my leg hair which was always very time consuming and messy! Also sore if I misjudged the heat of the wax! These are amazing and take such little time to apply and remove. They aren’t messy at all and don’t leave much wax on your legs. Any that is left on, using the amazing finishing wipes removes the and oils up your legs so they are super smooth and shiny! Highly recommend and will definitely use again! Love that you can use them on your feet too (if you have hobbit feet like me) and they are just as easy and effective as doing the legs!
