Make lacing bookmarks

Lacing activities are great for developing fine motor skills in your little ones. These cute lacing bookmarks come with a free printable template to get you started. 

What you need:

  • 1 x FREE printable template
  • card stock
  • coloured string or wool
  • knitter's needle or embroidery needle
  • scissors
  • a small hole punch

Print out the template onto a plain sheet of white A4 paper. 

Lay the template onto the card stock and cut around it to make the three separate bookmarks.

Now punch the holes in each bookmark to create the shapes.

Thread the needle and lace the shapes into the bookmarks.

It's just like a dot to dot, but you can touch it!
