Taboo

Simple games that make everyone laugh are the perfect foil for bored children on long car trips. This game is simple to explain but not so simple to execute. Getting it wrong is half the fun!

What you need:

• A long stretch of time stuck together in a car.

Number of players:
2+

Activity:

Everyone agrees to make a certain word "taboo" – meaning you can't use it.  It's better to make the taboo word a very common usage word such as, "the", "and", "it" or even "um".

One player is chosen as the questioner.

The questioner asks questions of all the other players. No one is allowed to use the taboo word.  Every time anyone uses the taboo word, that person is out.

The last player left in is the winner.
