Chicken lovely legs
Ingredients
- 8 chicken lovely legs
- 1 cup (250ml) pear, apple, or orange juice
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
Method
Place the chicken legs in an oven dish big enough to fit them all side by side.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a jar and pour over the chicken, turn to coat.
Cover and allow to marinate in the fridge for up to one day.
Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced) Bake for 40 minutes, 20 minutes covered, then uncover and turn the legs and bake for a further 20 minutes uncovered.
Allow to cool and serve with vegetables and pasta or rice.

Serving Suggestions
Note
- I find the pear juice from tinned fruit works well.
- If you don’t have time to marinate the chicken just make it anyway. It still tastes delicious.
