    French toast soldiers

    Ingredients

    • bread crusts
    • 1 egg
    • splash of milk

    Method

    Combine the egg and milk in a bowl.

    Heat a fry pan with a little butter.

    Soak crusts in egg mixture and fry in pan.

    Notes:

    • These are great hot or cold.
    • Save the crusts you cut off sandwiches in a zip-lock bag in the fridge and then use them to make this tasty snack.
