Popped a couple in the freezer and they loved taking them to school in their lunchboxes and were the envy of their friends who were intrigued by what they were. The portion sizes are so generous and not having a plastic lid is a game changer and makes opening them a breeze and having less rubbish is a win!

It was easy for him to open and he could squeeze every last little bit out of the pouch. I sent one in his lunch the next day in addition to his usual fruit, and everything was eaten, so it’s great that the pouches can add that extra bit of vitamins and goodness without cutting back on any of his other fruit in his lunch.

We were one of the fortunate whānau that got to trial these and we are hooked! Our favourite was the Mango, the flavours are so intense and are even better frozen. We also tried the Berry and chia flavour with Greek yoghurt and it was delicious.

I’ll let my daughter do the review “It is soooo good. Sweet and fruity. I liked it in my school lunchbox. I didn’t have to ask the teacher to open it. I was scared it would have lumpy bits but it didn’t”

callum.irvine

Yum!! The kids loved these. Miss 7 said “these are delicious, they’re like yoghurt but better”. Master 11 & 13 couldn’t decide which flavour they liked more and thought they tasted like fruit smoothies.

Would love to try these with my 2 year old boy.. he LOVES ice blocks at the moment so would be perfect as a more healthy alternative, as well as mixing in to my 10 month olds porridge as he loves fruit mixed in with porridge for breakfast!

  5. JohnstonS 27/07/2023 at 8:13 pm

1 year old and 4 year old boys. Would love to trial as the 4 year old refuses to eat fruit so this may be a good substitute.

My daughter is 9 and likes to try new snacks. She is neurodiverse so it’s a hard and expensive task to find things she enjoys eating and to purchase new food to try. One thing she eats alot of is fruit so I hope she is able to trial these!
    Thankyou!

Two boys 3 and 5 years.
We need to be dairy free so healthy snacks for school that are dairy free are always good!

I have a 3.5 year old and a newborn. We are always looking for new healthy and convenient options for lunches. Anything that can help add fibre to Mr 3.5’s diet is a huge plus. Food on the go is a huge bonus for us, especially when trying to manage keeping things cool or having warming facilities so this grab and go snack would be amazing to trial!

  16. Alice72 27/07/2023 at 8:07 pm

These look great! We are always on the lookout for new lunchbox options as I find my kids get bored easily (and don’t eat it) if the lunchbox is the same for too long. I have an 8 year old and a 4 year old. I particularly like the sound of the mixed berry and chia as the chia would help keep them full for longer and give them the energy they need for their day.

  17. SerenaLim 27/07/2023 at 8:07 pm

My 8 year old and 12 year old would love to try this

  18. Mellobear 27/07/2023 at 8:06 pm

    11, 9, 6 and 4.
The 9 and 4 year olds are especially hard to get fruit into so I’d love to try it this way as they love juice

  19. mermaid32 27/07/2023 at 8:06 pm

    I have 9 / 14 / 16 year old kids.
My 9 year old is a fussy eater so I’m always keen to try and find new ways if introducing a variety of foods.
I also think these could be amazing for sports training and game days for my older kids.
My daughter plays rugby and my son plays football – I’d be keen to see if these offer a good half time energy boost!

    • Mummyof3 27/07/2023 at 8:24 pm

My 3 kids are 6, 10 and 13. I’d love for them to try these. The younger 2 usually just drink milk but the teenager loves fizzy drinks and juice. I feel like they’d all love this especially the mango one and it’ll cut some sugar out of the teens diet!

    • Rachaelfull 27/07/2023 at 8:27 pm

Would love to give these a try, I have 4 kids, twins 7, 5 and 3 and am always looking for anything that’s a healthy snack on the go. We have a busy life between school and sports and I love anything that’s easy to chuck in the bag!

    • Saltycaramel 27/07/2023 at 8:32 pm

Kids love the outdoors and sports and this looks like the perfect fruity to go product my two little ones need. Looking to add more fruit based without having to always bring out the sliced oranges and this looks ideal to trial
