Thank you for the opportunity to trial these beautiful salads, we bought the Asian salad as these are the closest to what we usually get if we get a packet if we are in a hurry (coleslaw). The salad was very easy to put together and the freshness of the ingredients made it very appealing to eat. I am French with a Kiwi husband, I love my salads and usually make them from scratch, but i have to say that this is very convenient and very close to what I can make sometimes. Loved the croutons, and the mixture of the vegies. The dressing was very delicious and a great combination with the salad. We had our salad with some marinated chicken, and the family loved it. The packet is just the right amount for a family of 4, and I have bought them since, and tried them all but this is my favorite. Thank you
Thanks for choosing me for this trial. The Southwest salad was the major hit in our family. The blue cheese and taco shreds add the extra touch. My family are never normally coriander fans and never noticed it in the salad. The crunchiness of the cabbage with the other lettuces made this an all around hit and I will be buying this for sure on a regular basis and look forward to buying other Taylor salads. All ingredients were super fresh which is awesome. These will be on my highly recommend list ( and often do this at the chiller section already to strangers lol)

I’ve been buying their salad’s for ages and absolutely love them so was so excited to be given the opportunity to review the salads. I was really hoping to try the 2 new salads but they are still not available at my local supermarket, so I ended up purchasing the Kale and Southwest salads. My favourite by far is the Kale salad, I love the different textures with the added crunch with the taste of the sauce and the cheese. I love all the salads I have tried in the Taylor range and would highly recommend them to anybody to try, just delicious!!
We brought the Southwest Chopped Salad and the Asian one, both were very delicious. Had them on seperate days one with bbq and I put the other in some sandwiches with chicken for the kids, both were a big hit. The packaging looks small, but you do get a decent serving out of it. I would love to try the other flavours as they weren’t all in stock when I went shopping. Thank you for choosing my family for this trial.
We have tried the southwest and kale salads. Both of them were very tasty. I love they save me so much time in the kitchen but still look like l made them myself. The packaging is easy to spot, easy to get into, and the dressings taste very yummy. I will buy again for sure. Thank you.
I had a bit of trouble tracking these down at my local supermarkets but managed to eventually find the Kale and the Southwest. They were nice for a treat but I wouldn’t buy them as part of my weekly shop due to the price.
We tried the Southwest salad first added to wraps with some chicken. I’m not a fan of coriander so found the taste a bit over powering for my liking but the seeds and tortilla strips were a nice change to other prepack salads.
The kale salad was great as a side dish when we had a bbq, even MR8 enjoyed it
We tried the Southwest and Asian chopped salads and they were absolutely delicious. My daughter even commented that it is one of the nicest salads she’d tasted. We used the Southwest for our New Years Day barbie with friends around and was so easy and quick. Just throw it together and it’s done. Love the textural difference too in these salads with the extras in them like pumpkin seeds and tortilla bits. Will definitely purchase in future!
These are some of the most delicious salads I’ve ever had and so versatile. Originally purchased the Kale salad and Chipolata southwest with vouchers andhave since purchased the Asian and mederttaian and these are now the only salada I will purchase.
Full of flavour and incredibly fresh i was so surprised for the price just how much quality products they you got!!! Even down the small things like croutons in one version, crispy bread sticks,tortilla chips sticks, feta cheese… You know all those little added things to make a salad authentic of its name… Every single one of Taylor Farm Chopped Salads do this.
We used as a filling in home made burgers one night and what a hit!! The boys said was so much better than the separate lettuce leaves, tomato, etc. Coming into summer was perfect for our first BBQ of the year and having Kale for the first time was awesome… I understand now why it’s a super food… Was so yummy crunchy and fresh.
I love the fact the salads are abit unique and not what you’d usually think to make or get which I found was quite inspiring and got me being abit more creative with our meals and funnily I have since planned a couple meals around the salad haha.
The salads all included dressing but if didn’t want to have dressing it was still just as flavoursome and enjoyable… Very fresh product and kept really well for the day after too we just left in the serving glass bowl and popped a honey wrap over and was kept well.
Highly recommend theses sealads5to just about anyone their child friendly, there nice enough to take to a dinner party, great as part of a meal or as a meal on their own. Fantastic price and great quality. Really enjoyed these… Thanks kyou for including me.

We thoroughly enjoyed the southwest chopped salad. Had with a boxing day bbq and many guests commented on the taste and texture. So easy and convenient to prepare and so fresh! We were also impressed with the quantity per pack. Thanks for the opportunity to trial.
I decided to purchase two packs of the Kale chopped salad as my husband doesn’t like coriander and this was an ingrediant in both the other two varieties which were available at the time – the Southwest and Asian. We LOVE the Kale salad just as is. It is quite pricy at $6 a bag but well worth is. We took it to a bbq and both bags make a reasonable sized salad to take and the comments we had were great. The lemony dressing was a winner and the croutons and cheese are an excellent addition. Such a tasty salad and so different from normal coleslaws that you find at bbq’s. I really like the packaging, it looks classy. If I am ever in a hurry again to go to a last minute bbq I will be purchasing two packs of the kale chopped salad and whipping them in a bowl and taking that along. I would probably fry up some bacon and cut it up and throw that is too to jass it up even more.
Love these salads!! The southwest one tastes just like nachos- just a pity they don’t have them in my nearest supermarket. The asian flavour is tasty too, definitely recommend both!

Enjoyed by all the family even the kids. We had them with sausages one night, and then cold meat the other. The flavours and textures of the salads were great, and so very tasty. The dressings were lovely too, although slightly more dressing would have been better. Thanks Taylors for some awesome salads. Well priced and easy that I will buy at times when pushed for meal ideas. Thanks again.
My family tried the Southwest Chopped Salad as a side with a bbq. It was really yum and being prepacked made it so much easier esp in this heat. It tasted fresh and crunchy. We all loved it and would love to try the other flavours.
Thank you for giving us the chance to try these salads. They were very handy during the extra busy Christmas season. I bought the Asian salad, which we had on Christmas day, and the Southwest salad, which we had when friends came round for New Year’s eve dinner. I was impressed that the Southwest salad was still very fresh and crunchy, despite the fact that we opened it on its best before date. The packaging made them easy to find at Pak n Save, and the flavours were great and different from my usual homemade salads. Although I really appreciated the convenience, I’m not sure if I would buy them on a regular basis due to price and the fairly small yield. Also because I tend to make things from scratch for my hard to feed (due to dietary requirements and fussiness) family. However, I would definitely consider them for a special occasion or last minute get together. Thanks again 🙂

We tried the Kale Chopped Salad, and the Southwest Chopped Salad.
Of the two, the Southwest was a definite favourite. It had a surprisingly long storage life, the best before date was about 6 days after purchase, but it was still lovely, fresh and crisp on opening at that point. The dressing was delicious and the addition of the crispy tortilla strips and toasted pumpkin seeds gave it a great crunchy texture. We liked it so much we have purchased it a few more times over the festive period to take to BBQs (where is was a talking point among others that tried it!) and for a quick, tasty side for good old kiwi fish and chip dinners at home!
Compared to other pre-packaged salads, the yield was rather small for the cost, but for the point of difference and quality of ingredients I am happy to pay the extra.
We ended up trying the Southwest, Asian and Kale salads! We’ve been eagerly waiting for the new flavours to hit the shelves, but no luck yet! We absolutely love all 3 varieties – it’s hard to pick a favourite! But if we had to, it would be the Southwest. We love all the goodies that come with you the salads – so yummy to sprinkle on top! We are so impressed with how fresh the salads are – this is what will keep us purchasing more! Thanks for making it easy to keep healthy over summer!!!
We tried the Taylor Farms Asian coleslaw & it was divine & a total crowd pleaser. I took 2 bags of it (mixed in a fancy dish) along to my family Xmas lunch & everyone thought I was so cleaver on making such a tasty coleslaw but I had to let the cat out of the bag & give Taylor Farms full credit. Loved the little extras…..sliced almonds & crunchy noodles. The packaging was eye catching, bright & very appealing….stood out on the shelf. Overall 5+ stars & value for money. Thanks for choosing us to try the Taylor’s salads. At first we couldn’t find them amongst the other prepackaged salads but soon found them. We got them from Countdown. They had two to choose from: Southwest and Asian salads so we got one of each. I have to say I was a bit nervous as i cant’t have (due to dietary issues) too much dressing on my salad and often salads are drenched in dressing. I was really surprised to find the dressings were quite light. They were fresh, crunchy, tasty and will be definitely buying these again. Nice to get some variety instead of the ones we make at home. Great for taking to bbq or picking up on way home.

We bought the Kale Chopped Salad and it was delicious. Both my husband and myself loved it. We had it with some steak we cooked on the BBQ one night after work and they went beautifully together.
The salad was so simple to put together and had brilliant flavour, with the added bonus of being healthy.

I bought 2 packs of Asian salad as they were the only available ones! Brought them for Xmas brunch with family and another one pack to frds BBQ party! They were quick and easy! It was just lovely…even my partner who is not a huge fan of salad really enjoyed it. The included dressing had a lemon taste, was light, not too overpowering and really made the salad. I like that this is a ready made salad so very easy to pop in a bowl for a quick dinner. I will definitly ne buying this again and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thankyou again
We were lucky enough to get to trial this amazing product. We tried the Southwest Chopped Salad. Toke two bags for Christmas lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and it went very fast with such nice weather salad was a great option to bring along. It was delicious and crunchy. Very fresh. Loved the seeds and different goodies in it unlike normal plan salads this was packed with goodness. Have got alot of people on the Taylor’s farm fan wagon. Highly recommended. Thanks for the opportunity to try this product. I got the Southwest as it was the only one they had. I was a bit worried as I mixed it that I wouldn’t like it as I am not a fan of coriander and it smelled quite strong but it was delicious! It had a great flavour combinations and i loved the crunch of the tortilla chips. My son normally won’t touch salad as he dislikes crunchy textures but tried it and announced that he likes salad now!

We had the southwest and the Asian and they were great. Amazing flavour but not overwhelming, fresh crisp, crunchy and so quick and easy to prepare. They are great to go with summer dinners and bbqs or as a healthy lunch alternative. I added some spicy mince on top of the Southwest and it made such a delicious meal. Easy to open packaging, colourful and informative. will definitely be purchasing these in future. Yum!

After a hunt at a few supermarkets to find them (seems Christchurch doesnt have them at most supermarkets!) I finally found them and was able to try the Asian Chopped Salad and the Southwest Chopped Salad.
Both were lovely but def a fan of the Asian chopped salad so far.
The flavour of both was delicious, though found the southwest quite strong with the dressing, the Asian flavour was def liked by the whole family.
I will not be hesitating to buy more of these in this weeks shop, so far we have lived off them lasting us 2 days and eating them with a variety of left over meats from xmas day.
Pleasing on the tastebuds and the waistline making it an easy, convenient and healthy option for all families 🙂

The mix of veggies was just right and the extra bits of Tortilla strips and Crispy rice Noodles took the salads to the next level of yumminess. We only tried the Southwest Salad as that was the only one left so we look forward to trying a different flavour another time but the Southwest was delicious! The chopped tortilla chips were a big hit with the kids and the balance of different vegetables was great with no one vegetable overwhelming the others.
