    Steamed pears

    Ingredients

    • 4 pears (such as beurre bosc), peeled
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 1 pinch cinnamon, ground
    • 1 pinch nutmeg, ground
    • 400 grams Natural Vanilla Hazelnut Yoghurt

     

    Method

    Cut tops off pears (these will become lids) and core. Stand pears upright in a bamboo steamer or steamer insert.

    Fill each pear with 1 tablespoon honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Place top portion back on top of each pear.

    Cover, and place steamer over a saucepan of simmering water.

    Steam pears for 15-20 minutes or until soft.

    Serve with yogurt.
