Gonna getcha is a game enjoyed by all babies but gets even better when they reach an age where they can move about and try to get away. Play this game with great laughs and tickles for baby and watch as they squeal in delight!

Activity:

Lay baby down and sit at their feet.

Repeat the chant: “I’m gunna getcha”

Slowly go to tickle their tummy, or favourite tickle spot.

Watch as baby starts to learn what comes next and tries to escape.

Repeat the game. As your baby develops the skills to roll and crawl, this game gets more interesting.

Notes:

It does not matter what age the baby is, they will learn to recognise the chant as a fun game and try to cover the area you tickle the most.
