I took my kids to see “The Secret Life of Pets 2” and they realy enjoyed it, the activities sound like fun, we could do some of them at home! Going to the movies was a nice activity for the cold wet days in the holidays.

There are some great ideas here! I wish we lived closer to a Westfield but unfortunately not in little old Wanganui. I’ve always been interested in getting the kids involved in events like this for children as they are generally no-fail fun 🙂

I did see these activities and so wanted to take my daughters but with the kidsfest book offering so much along with holiday programs and playdates she was busy pretty much most of the holidays… i do enjoy the crafts and activities at the westfield riccarton mall and love that they really put alot of thought and effort into them… great initiative by malls to keep people warm ,kids active and parents sane…

We wish that we could get to Westfield riccarton more but being 1 and a half hours away it can be a mission with 3 kids. I love going to the movies we have been to secret life of pets 2 and it’s such a funny movie to see the kids loved it. The activities Westfield are doing sound lots of fun as well if you live closer to a Westfield mall. Toy story 4 sounds like another good one to see.

I so wish we had a Westfield near us! The closest is Christchurch but I’m in Dunedin so a bit far 🙂 We only really have tiny malls here, they do put on some School Holiday activities though and some quite cool things to do. My 6 year old is right now at the Art Gallery with her Dad making masks. I’m yet to take her to a movie but as I work full time it’s a bit difficult – I may have to skive off early one day this week! 🙂

Great boredom buster ideas. We done alot of free stuff this holidays like bush walks and playground fun while the weather was fine and library and museum when the weather turned to custard. These looked like great ideas. I love the movies idea on cold crappy day this winter. Can’t wait to take them to see toy story 4. I’ve always been a big toy story fan and the kids love it too seeing the toys come to life. That’s a must see on my list in next few weeks.

Saw these activities in action yesterday at Albany Westfield, they looked like such neat fun and the kids involved had the hugest smiles on their faces … unfortunately Westfield closest to us it Abit of a drive to get to but will definitely get my boys to share a pic of our pets on Instagram for the competition.
Love how the local malls offer these cool holiday activities especially being free too makes it that much more accessible for families and always great entertainment for the kids particularly on wet cold days
