Will You Dunk It For Plunket?

During September and October you can support the work of Whānau Āwhina Plunket by organising a ‘Dunk it for Plunket’ morning tea.

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is New Zealand’s largest support service for the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-fives and their whānau. The ‘Dunk it for Plunket’ campaign asks Kiwis to help support their work in providing critical services to families by raising funds through hosting a morning tea.

‘Dunk it for Plunket’, in association with Arnott’s, takes place from 1st September to 31st October 2021 and it’s free to sign up! Everyone that registers will receive a host pack including delicious Arnott’s Farmbake biscuits and other surprises for the host.

How to ‘Dunk it for Plunket’

  1. Register your morning tea and set your fundraising target, using the easy step by step guide.
  2. Invite people to your morning tea.
  3. You will receive your host pack in the mail*.
  4. Host your morning tea and raise funds to help Whānau Āwhina Plunket.

Hosting your event

Once you’ve signed up, get those invitations out to attendees, via social media, text, email … however you like. There’s even a poster you can print and put up at your workplace. Then share your fundraising page so people can donate to your morning tea, even if they can’t attend.

If you’re in an Alert Level 2 area keep an eye out for your host pack. *Unfortunately those in Alert Level 4 will need to wait until they also reach Alert Level 2 to receive their host pack. Please follow public health guidelines regarding ways to keep yourself and your morning tea guests safe.

Don’t forget to take a photo of someone wearing the apron included in your host pack – post this on the Dunk it for Plunket Facebook event page (instructions are in your host pack) to be in to win an additional $200 towards your fundraising goal.

Everyone that raises more than $500 on their fundraising page automatically receives an additional even larger box of Arnott’s biscuits!
