    Cheddar cheese crackers

    Serves:

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup of butter
    • 1 1/2 cups of plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 3 pinches of cayenne pepper
    • 2 cups of cheddar cheese (optional)

    Method

    Place all the ingredients into a food processor and process until combined.

    Shape into 1 and 1/2 – 2 inch rolls and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.

    Slice each roll into slices about 1/4 inch thick.

    Bake on baking paper for approx 10 minutes in a 180 degree oven.
