Fettuccini carbonara

Pasta dinners are always a favourite with kids - and no one does spaghetti quite like the Italians. This traditional carbonara recipe is quick, simple and sure to be a hit with the whole family

Fettuccini carbonara

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 300ml cream
  • mushrooms, sliced
  • ground paprika seasoning
  • parmesan cheese

Method

Fry onion untill soft.

Add bacon & cook for 1 minute.

Add beaten egg, cream, mushrooms, paprika and cheese and stir 3-4 minutes.

Stir through cooked fettucine.
