ChildLife Essentials® Multi Vitamin & Mineral Liquid Formula

For a child’s body to develop normally, essential nutrients need to be consumed each and every day.  Children need vitamins & minerals for their normal growth and for the nourishment of their organs and bones.  That can be quite a task, especially since many young children are picky about the food they eat.  A good way to be sure your children get the nutrients required to produce a healthy body and brain is to give them a daily multivitamin & mineral.

Children are not simply little adults.  When choosing a multivitamin, it is important to select one that is designed specifically for children.  This will give your child the right amount of nutrients for their age and size.

ChildLife® uses only the highest quality ingredients. This formula is gluten free, casein free, alcohol free. Contains no milk, eggs, wheat, yeast, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or shellfish. No artificial colourings, flavourings or sweeteners.

ChildLife® Multi Vitamin & Mineral contains 14 of the essential vitamins and 8 of the primary minerals, including Selenium (50% of the recommended daily value).

Being in liquid form, ChildLife® Multi Vitamin & Mineral allows for better absorption of the nutrients, can be mixed with food, water or children’s favourite drink; it is easy to take regardless of the child’s age and it tastes yummy!

My kids were sick when this arrived so I waited for them to get better. I have 3 kids under 5 1 who is very extremely fussy eater who has to have iron supplements. My youngest still doesn’t sleep the whole night.
SO finally decided to start trying it started 1 teaspoon first been sick often they have tyres slot of medicines so reluctantly didn’t want to open there mouth they put there lips on the spoon and licked there lips after a little thought they loved it.
After watching them for a week miss 5 feels great not so tired concentrates more when doing homework and not sleepy throughout the day. Miss 13months slept 3 nights out of 7 which was a dream come true. Overall all 3 of my kids are more bubble energetic not so grumpy cause they ain’t so tired towards the end of the day and I feel great knowing miss 5 is getting supplements for other vitamins she is missing out on. I always wanted to buy these for my kids but couldn’t afford it and didn’t want to waste money that wouldn’t work or they wouldn’t drink but I will definitely get this even if it puts us out about. Thank you guys

Initial feedback for this product is that my 11year old said that it’s yuck asked if she would have to take it and then conveniently hid the bottle when we got home (had to go collect from post office) I found the bottle last night while cleaning so we will be trialling from today onwards, I like the look of it and am looking forward to trying with the younger children. Just hoping my eldest hasn’t created too much of a negative impression for the younger kids to copy
    Before even trying it!

Really like this product. Winter hasn’t been kind to our household and with at times – two fussy eaters, I naturally wanted to do my best to get as much goodness into them as possible. The smell straight from the bottle is a wee bit strong but the kids are happy to have their ‘special juice’ in the mornings and that’s all I can ask for. I really liked the company took time to send a personalised card too – shows they care about who is using their product. Thanks so much for the chance to trial this product, will definitely continue using!

When we first received the ChildLife Essentials Multi Vitamin & Mineral Liquid Formula I read the instruction and decided to dilute it into water thinking that would be how my kids would be most likely to enjoy it. I did this, offered it to my kids and no success, they didn’t like it, so I persevered trying different ratios of the liquid and water. Regardless of the strength of the ‘drink’ my kids would have a mouthful and put the cup down saying it tasted funny. At last I just offered it to them undiluted, They LOVED it! They ask for their ‘medicine’ every day now and are getting great benefits from it, sleeping better, more energy during the day and my 5 year old is concentrating more at school! While they are given a well balanced diet they are incredibly fussy so I love the peace of mind that I am getting from knowing that they are getting their essential vitamins and minerals!

Unfortunately one of my sons got very sick just after this arrived so we decided not to use it with him as he was under going tests etc to determine what he had.
My other son did not like the taste at all! I also tried it and found the smell and flavour very over powering. I watered it down but he still isn’t keen, I will keep persevering and update! (but to be honest he will happily take a normal kids multi tablet or gummi so think I would most likely stick with those)

We were excited to receive Childlife Essentials Multivitamin and Mineral liquid formula to trial for Master 6 and Master 8. We have had a dreaded few months of illness, fevers and low health in spite of living a healthy lifestyle and eating well. I gave it to my children out of the bottle in the syrup form and one child liked it the other one, not so much. It has a sweet orange flavor that can be a bit sickly but knowing it is full of goodness we carried on. The other doses I gave to them in the morning with breakfast watered down a little bit and it was easier for them to stomach. We’ve used it for 9 days now and the children seem to be well and filled with their booming energy. We will carry on using this product as it has more goodness in it than off the shelf vitamins from the supermarket. Thank you for introducing me to a new healthy product that benefits my children. As parents we are always trying to ensure they have all they to keep them growing in a healthy and happy way and anything can add to the daily goodness we provide for them is comforting.

Was over the moon to be chosen for this product and am very grateful as my daughter loves it! Right balance of flavour and sweetness and the vitamin and minerals present in it give an excellent coverage healthwise for anything she might be lacking in. Peace of mind for a Mum who does her best to get a good, balanced diet into my kids but am battling sensory issues with food developed following prematurity. Also loved the personalised wee card put in with the pack. I like to support companies that care about their customers and this company is definitely one I will support! I highly recommend their product and will be buying in the future! Thanks again 🙂

Once it arrived, the hubby asked me if this was safe. I never thought it wasn’t but it was still a good indication for me to check some reviews out there. I saw that this generated good reviews from Singapore and I lived there for 6 years and knew how particular and stringent the people living here. I confidently gave a dose to my 2 year old. It says 1-2 teaspoon daily for 1-4 years old. I took a cautionary step and went with 1 teaspoon. At first, my 2 year old found it odd and didn’t really want to open his mouth for it. I get it…it’s a orangey goo so “what’s up Mom?” But I asked him to try and had to kinda push it inside his mouth to get him a taste. Lo and behold, it’s tangy sweet coz it’s orange mango flavoured. He liked it and he calls it his “medicine”. We’ve tried this for a week and I felt like his appetite has improved. I’m not entirely sure it’s all due to this or maybe I got better at cooking food (wishful thinking). All I can say is, it’s not a magic fix-it-all for fussy eaters or no appetite eaters. A balanced diet is still important so I still feed him all the essentials like veggies and fruits ( as much as I can). It doesn’t hurt to have this as a supplement too.

Thank you for the chance to trial this supplement. I have trialed it on my 4, 5 and 12-year-old boys and it has been especially helpful for my 4 year old, a bit of peace of mind as he is an incredibly fussy eater. Knowing that he’s getting extra vitamins and minerals he could be lacking from food is great. My two youngest boys love it, they happily take it every morning. It is very runny and we’ve had a few spills but putting it into a wee medicine cup so they could drink it, fixed the problem. My 12-year-old was a bit up and down with it, he thinks it’s incredibly sweet and wasn’t overly keen but still used it. Overall, I am impressed that it is especially designed for children and has so many vitamins and minerals. I would definitely use it again for my younger kids. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much this was a delight to try my daughter loved it she looks foward to her spoon full each morning

  13. Peagles 29/10/2017 at 8:35 pm

Thank you for the chance to try this product. I have been giving this to my 11 month old just on a spoon and he happily takes it, and even opens his mouth for more! It smells strongly of Vitamin B (I think) so I wondered if it would go down well, but I tasted it before giving it to him and thought it actually tasted pretty good (orange and mango, not too sweet and rather pleasant). I can imagine fussier bubbas might need it diluted perhaps. It’s been really good peace of mind because he doesn’t drink loads of milk and has been off his food a bit with teething lately. In the future when buying a multi-vitamin for my baby, Childlife would be my first choice. Some of their other products on the little pamphlet look tempting too!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try this multi vitamin. I tried to give it to my 2-year old son but he didn’t like it. I guess it’s because of the strong citrus smell. I was quite disappointed since I really want him to take that supplement since he’s fussy when it comes to food. I gave it to my 5-year old son instead, he liked it at first but second time he refused to drink it. I have to tell him that he still needs to take it to make him strong. I have to convince him to take it since I don’t want to put it into waste. He’s still taking it everyday which is good. I tried it myself and the orange flavour is quite strong. I think that’s the reason why my kids didn’t like it. Sorry for this feedback…

  15. Nicola 26/10/2017 at 5:09 pm

I actually purchased this a couple of weeks ago after extensive research in what I wanted in a supplement. I find the taste to be VERY strong (as well as having that B vitamin complex lingering taste). I think for most kids it would be pleasant as ‘juice’ (i.e. diluted in water) but for Miss 3 (ASD) I am now using it successfully in what I am calling ‘orange mango poppyseed cupcakes’ but are actually reinforced with the liquid multi vitamin and almond meal and linseed etc… 😀

I would absolutely love to try this for my miss 5 and mr 16 months! Being picky eaters, they don’t intake all the vitamins they need

  18. jenniferlorenb 20/10/2017 at 1:38 pm

    Yes please
This would be wonderful to try with my 3 year old
We have had so many bugs this year and I think this would be a huge benefit to try out for our family
    Thank you!

  19. TracyWilliams 19/10/2017 at 2:49 pm

This would be great to try with my 2 year old!

  20. Hearher29 18/10/2017 at 9:16 pm

This would be great to trial with my 3 year old son and 4 year old daughter. My daughter is very strong willed when it comes to food and eats little in the way of meat/iron sources or veges! My son has just turned 3 and so is slowly becoming more fussy… this would be helpful as a way to get more vitamins and minerals into him.

  21. Trace59 16/10/2017 at 10:59 am

Would love to try my son on this:)

  22. Shannelle Cooke 16/10/2017 at 9:26 am

This would be fantastic for my 7yr old boy and 3yr old girl! They have both had quite a few sniffles over winter and would love to help boost their immune systems for next year.

  23. shellcruise 14/10/2017 at 5:10 pm

  24. vktcnja 14/10/2017 at 4:52 pm

  27. kadesmum 12/10/2017 at 10:24 pm

I have an 11yr Old boy with an immune deficiency and autisum so it is essential he takes vitamins and minerals. It is hard finding a good kids liquid and one that he will take so would really love to try this product 🙂

  28. Dena89 12/10/2017 at 4:01 pm

Yes please this would be wonderful having so much trouble getting our 2yr old to eat fruit and veges at the moment

  29. Mandaz1 12/10/2017 at 3:49 pm

This would be absolutely awesome to try as i have a just 12year old who will not take any tablets to do with vitamins or minerals as she doesn’t like crunching them nor does she like the flavours. Would be very interesting to see if she would like this more 🙂

  30. MumOfBoys 12/10/2017 at 3:43 pm

Would be great to trial this please.

I have 3 boys who could benefit from a good multivitamin (no.4 is too young). Aged 2, 4 and 6 they all have their picky days and after a winter where they seem to have caught every bug around it would be great to boost their bodies again.
