I loved how easy the packet was to open and close. I loved the fresh clean (not overpowering) smell. I liked the textured weave which meant they didn’t fall apart. I have so far used them for, husbands computer table (they were great on the black glass), my muddy sneakers that had been out with the dog, the kids table when they were using plastacine, an old lamp downstairs I had forgotten we had, the laundry sink after the muddy weekend, the toilet room just before some visitors arrived. my bathroom sink because I couldn’t be bothered with the a deep clean. They are great for small jobs that you don’t know how dirty they will get. I loved the lack of residue or smearing. Total find that I am sticking with. Only thought would be “how do they break down and am I being wasteful on the environment”
I received the Lemon Lime Burst Dettol Multipurpose Wipes which I was very happy about as I associate citrus scents with ‘clean’! I used these wipes to clean on and around a toilet, to wipe windowsills and to clean down kitchen surfaces. The wipes performed well in all areas and did leave a lovely clean smell. I was very happy to see that the packaging reminds users NOT to flush the wipes down the toilet as they are not biodegradable (no wipes really are). I enjoyed trialing these wipes and would buy them again to use in areas such as the toilet, where the thought of washing and reusing clothes is a bit icky. Would not use them routinely though, as disposable wipes are not as good for the environment as reusable cloths.
These wipes are fantastic. I love the fresh clean smell which is not too overpowering. The textured weave is great too as it helps to remove more stubborn marks (food that has dried on the bench for example – thanks kids!) I found these to be so handy when cleaning our fabric clip-on highchair- easily removed food marks and left the high chair smelling fresh and clean. I’d definitely use them again in the future.
Loved these. Pleasant smell, great at cleaning. Good that they kill all those germs too!

Thanks for letting me trial! When I opened the pack they just smelt so good! I used them to clean my toddlers table, it was super convenient and wiped away all the food leftovers very easily. I also used them to clean the toilet that was very easy for a quick clean when your busy to keep it fresh and clean. They were also good for giving the bench a good wipe down. A very good product to recommend to anyone
I am loving these wipes and im not just saying that…they have just the right amount of moisture not soaking like some cleaning wipes, the smell isnt over powering and they do a great job at cleaning only have to use 1 wipe on my daughters highchair tray imstead of 2 papertowels.

Thank you for selecting me to trial the Dettol Wipes. I found the packet easy to open and the wipes came out of the packet easily. The fragrance was very pleasant and not too over powering, as with many other cleaners. I used these to wipe my bathroom sinks and toilets. The wipes did a very good job, however I’d like them to come in a bigger size and be thicker. I found the standard size I was sent were good for smaller jobs, such as wiping light switches and around the window frames. They might light work of everything I used then for so I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends. They were a superior product to the supermarket brand wipes I have tried previously.
Loved these wipes!! Ive used it on toilet seats ( my little one touches seats all the time), kitchen surfaces ( the grimes came off easily without scrubbing) and wash basin. The smell is really refreshing, not too overpowering, the ability to clean without leaving any streaks after oily surfaces is great! Love this product! I cant wait to try on shoes, door knobs and toys etc
These arrived at a perfect time when we had a lot of family arrive from around the country. It was great to be able to use the wipes for a variety of purposes. Great scent and strong weave. We used them to wipe up around the kitchen- spills, benchtops, stovetop and even to get a mark off a shirt. These are extremely convenient and easy for guests to use as well.
With so many people using the bathroom, we also used them in the bathroom to ensure cleanliness.
Another place these are great to use is in a campervan- so easy to use and convenient in the kitchen and bathroom. We found that we only needed one of these, where previously having to use 3 or 4 with other brands.

I absolutely love the Dettol wipes!! They have given me peace of mind that I’m actually getting rid of 99% of germs instead of just spreading them around. With a toddler and baby I don’t have time to be using various chemicals and cleaning cloths to clear up spilled food, vomit, unknown bodily fluids, marmite smears on walls… These wipes really do a phenomenal job first time around. I honestly do prefer the older style’s texture, but even though the new ones feel thinner they surprisingly still hold together. I will definitely be continuing to buy these in the future.
I’ve never used a multi purpose wipe before, we usually use a spray cleaner for kitchen and bathroom etc. The smell of these was surprisingly pleasant though, they can often have a really strong and offensive smell, so a good start 🙂 I tried one first in the bathroom as we have full white tiling and can be a pain to keep clean. So my 5 year old had walked into the bathroom with her sneakers on which had some dirt/mud on them. Out came the Dettol Wipes! Easily cleaned up the mud etc from the floor, but did leave it a bit wet so I just wiped again with a paper towel. I also tried one on our stainless steel bench in the kitchen, again did a really good job of cleaning up but left it a bit streaky (in saying that, I do find that unless it’s dried well it does tend to streak, so no fault of the Dettol Wipe). I must say that they are easier to use than a spray cleaner and easy to dispose of also. I like them and I would probably buy these to have in the cupboard 🙂
The smell of these wipes is a very clean and refreshing smell!

We have a stone benchtop so have to be a bit more particular on what products we use, but these worked really well. Better than a spray because they left no annoying spots.
I was very happy with how our bench look afterwards. They will totally get well used in our household. Toilet seat and bathroom vanities were next on the hit list.
Love love love the smell and the texture of the wipes etc. Great for cleaning up kitchen floor spills (so the kids don’t automatically grab the kitchen cloth – eeeek!) and giving the rubbish bin a good scrub too. Makes me feel the whole area is generally cleaner than before – thanks Dettol!
These wipes are great for certain jobs like cleaning the toilet and rubbish bin, cleaning the ranch slider tracks. I would also use them on the kitchen bench but only if I had been dealing with raw chicken or other food that has a high chance of causing food poisoning. The scent is pleasant and fresh. They are definitely part of our house from now on so thanks for the chance to try before we buy.

The smell is fab – so fresh and clean, and they clean up the kids mess easily. My kids are messy eaters, and I feel confident using these on surfaces that they eat off (counters and tables). They are nice and wet, and a little goes a long way. Definitely will be adding them to my grocery list.
Thank you for considering me for the Dettol Cleaning Wipes trial. I truly loved it and it will now be an important part of my kitchen. The packaging looks appealing and very convenient to use. I used it to clean my kitchen top, stove and kitchen wall tiles. I don’t have to put a lot of effort rubbing and scrubbing and my arm is not hurting after cleaning like it happens usually after doing the job. I am so glad that my kitchen is smelling nice and shining. Even my kids liked it so much and they loved to help me cleaning the top and to see it shining like a mirror. Thank you for sending me a trial pack of Dettol wipes. I have enjoyed using them as they have been great at removing grime from awkward places, like skirting boards, the bottom of window panes and between the seats and other hard to clean places in the car. They leave a mild lemony fragrance behind, which is not too overpowering like other brands and they don’t disintegrate easily when you’re using them. I have also used them in my bathroom and the laundry room and they have been particularly good at removing cat hair from my cat-flap! As they are very convenient to use, I’ll definitely be purchasing them the next time I visit the supermarket.

The thing I loved the most is that they are textured so i can pickup things easily that I would normally have to scrub a bit first. So far I have used these on school shoes, skirting boards, mouldy window sills/handles and my shower door. I was really please and how much easier it made all of these but in particular the windows and skirting boards. I have a rottweiler and jack Russel both who malt insanely and their hair is always built up on my skirting boards, most clothes or wipes will pick it up but I have to wipe in one hard consistent sweep the whole way along otherwise it leaves it built up where I stopped, the textured wipes just collected it wherever I stopped so that was great (and im pregnant so it allowed me to stand up and catch a breath not keep bending over to do the whole skirting board in one go!). We also live in an old villa and the windows in the bathroom do weep a bit still and get quite damp and mouldy fast, I can wipe these as I go and the Dettol wipes were great for this but the week handles are fidley so the textured part to the wipes helped me get the mould off without scrubbing hard.
Overall I am quite pleased with these, I wouldn’t normally buy wipes like this, I have purchased the odd flush able bathroom wipe but that is all. I would definitely buy these again for 2 reasons. 1-the textured part to them makes a huge difference to most things and 2-I am pregnant and paranoid about getting sick so I love that they are antibacterial and i have wiped down every door handle and surface I can when sick people come and visit!

I have been buying these since they first came out and with good reason, I have two boys who love to make a mess in the toilet. As I only have time to do a proper clean in the weekends dettol wipes are ideal for in the meantime. A little mess on the toilet seat or floor is now so much easier to clean up. I highly recommend this product if you have preschool children, especially boys.
I found these wipes to be amazing. We took ours away on our holiday in the car and they worked out great for those super not so clean public toilets. Made our family
Feel better using them. Great for a family with kids who love having sticky fingers. We used it to clean down their table after eating. I will definatly be buying these again in our next grocery shop. They were just super efficient and easy to use and made things smell and feel cleaner! Love love love!!! The small packaging makes it convenient to put in your handbag or glove box of the car and take them anywhere! Would be perfect to take out and wipe down high chairs for people with young children. I wish I found them when mine where young
I found these Dettol multipurpose wipes to be very effective and I would buy them in the future. As a mum of baby twins and a toddler I am forever cleaning and it is so much easier to have wipes next to the changing mat rather than going off to find a cloth and water. They are useful to remove bacteria straight away from the change mat, high chairs, cleaning up baby vomit, basically everything related to baby care! I also used them to clean the skirting boards in our house where some mould was growing and also the steel around the windows, they were very effective.
They are strong and smell fresh (I particularly like the lemon fragrance). They also stay moist, I have found other brands dry out very quickly but this was not the case with these wipes.
I think the packaging looks good, but to be honest thats not something that I find to be an important attribute.
Before I write my review, I thought I better be upfront about the fact that this is definitely not my first time using this product – they are, in fact, my cleaning wipes of choice, and I buy them once a week in my grocery shop.
The reason I buy them regularly is that I personally believe that they are among the best cleaning wipes out there – they are effective, reasonably-priced and I trust Dettol as a brand (they have been one of my household’s ‘go-to brands’ for many years).
Firstly, I love the fragrance of these wipes. I like lemon and I like lime smells, and I also like these as a combo! These citrus smells make my house smell fresh and clean, which is good when there are children and cats around constantly making messes or hubbies on diy missions!!
More importantly though, these wipes are very effective! I like how they feel quite wet when you pull them straight from the package and they have a bit of strength to them so you clean quite a bit before you chuck each individual wipe in the bin.
Speaking of bins, that’s one thing I like to clean with these wipes, they leave my kitchen/bathroom bins smelling great and looking brand new!! I also find them perfect for kitchen surfaces like benches and the sink and taps. Everything looks shiny and almost sparkles after using them!
Door handles are another thing in my house that I clean religiously with Dettol multipupose wipes as imagine how many germs you get on those after a while!!
I’d recommend these wipes to anyone who wants a clean house that smells great!
Having had a winter of bad sickness with my two preschoolers, I have really enjoyed using these wipes. They are perfect for the highchair and kitchen, and more importantly for a quick whip around the toilet/ sink etc as guests are arriving!!!

I love the smell of these when comparing to other brands. The lemon/citrus scent (from someone who usually doesnt like lemon) is actually a really nice change. I like the slight grit/texture thats on them and for wipes they do a decent job of cleaning. Quick, easy, does the job. Will be a preferred product in our house hold.
Loved it from the time I opened it had a gorgeous fresh clean smell of lemons and lime .. and it did what it said cleaned and sanitised esp was good for messy toddlers and stuck on sticky stains and marks .. helped too with havong a teenage boy that insists on having a ponky room (as they do) it cleans and deoderises also tried using one as a floor mop and worked well for that and made the lino sparkle and smell great the room — felt confident in germs being eliminated and no worries abut kids touching surfaces and my house smelled and looked nice afterward .. cant fault it def would recommend
also forgot to add that it was amazing to use on computer keyboards mouse and door handles getting all the germs and grime out of and sanitising it
I received a packet of Lemon Scented Dettol Antibacterial wipes. Got started almost immediately to try out this product. I used it to wipe all the switches and doorknobs. And since I have a number of sons, it also comes in very handy to do a quick wipe of the area surrounding the toilet bowl (wall, floor) to freshen up the bathroom when I’m in a hurry. That is very handy. Also the wipes has a slightly bumpy texture, therefore it picks up more dirt, which is great. Today, I used the wipes to clean my car’s carpet as my daughter entered the car with dirty shoes after stepping on some gross substance. The car carpet is clean and the smell is gone – whew! I’ve got plenty other uses for these amazing wipes. Thanks for the opportunity to trial Dettol Antibacterial wipes!
I received my wipes yesterday afternoon in the post and took the pack out with me for dinner. My little one is now having solids and needs to be seated on high chairs and the high chair table outside at restaurants are always full of dirt.. So I used a couple of The wipes to clean the table before putting my little one on it. I really love it because I used to bring a small disinfect spray out with me and with this wipe, I can totally ditch my spray 🙂 thanks kidspot!
Thanks Kidspot for sending me a pack of Dettol wipes to trial. The first thing I noticed was the pleasant citrus smell when I opened the pack, other wipes I have tried have either no scent or are too lemony. I also like that each wipe has a decent amount of product on it and is not too dry.
My toddler is toilet training at the moment so the first thing I used them on was her toilet seat which was convenient and produced good results. I have since used them to clean the kitchen surfaces and was really pleased with the end result when I cleaned gas stove top – it was clean and tidy with no annoying streaks. Overall I found the product very quick and convenient to use and I will happily purchase them in the future.
