Straw collage
Straws are so versatile. Drinking, building, cutting and pasting. Create this amazing straw masterpiece just for art's sake. Build a tower or border another masterpiece with colourful straws.
What you need:
- coloured straws
- scissors
- PVA glue
- paper
- paintbrush for glue
Number of players:

Activity:
Get your child to cut the straws into random lengths.
Using a paintbrush, paste the paper with PVA glue.
Arrange the straws onto the page.
Add more glue to create layers of straws.
Notes:
- PVA can take a while to dry. If choosing to build layers of straws on the page, build one at a time, allowing for a little drying time in between each layer.
- Make a picture, create patterns, borders or just place randomly for a colourful effect.
