Sausage Pizza
Dial up your pizza toppings with sliced sausages! Pan-fry the sausages, cool, then slice for the best pizza in town.
Ingredients
- 1 pizza base
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 red onion
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes
- black olives (optional)
- 1-2 pre-cooked sausages
- 1 cup pizza cheese
Instructions
- Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil to a medium heat.
- Slice the sausages and pan fry for around 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Set the sausage slices aside.
- Thinly slice the red onion, cherry tomatoes and olives (optional).
- Preheat an oven to 180°C (fan-forced 160°C).
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base leaving a small edge. Sprinkle with the oregano.
- Top with red onion, cherry tomatoes, and olives (if using).
- Add the sausage slices to the pizza, distributing evenly.
- Top with pizza cheese and bake for 8-12 mins or until golden. You may need to turn your pizza halfway to ensure even cooking.
- Slice and serve!
