White chocolate star cookies
- 200 g butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour
- 3/4 cup White Chocolate Melts
- 2 tbsp cream
Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
Beat butter and sugar together until light and creamy. Add egg yolk.
Sift Baking Cocoa and flour and stir into mixture. Knead mixture lightly, shape into a ball then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 20 minutes.
Roll out between sheets of baking paper and cut out stars with a medium size star cutter.
Place on oven trays and bake 12 minutes until light golden. Cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
