Perfect for every occasion, these pretty chocolate star biscuits are sandwiched together with a delicious combination of white chocolate and cream.
- 200 g butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour
- 3/4 cup White Chocolate Melts
- 2 tbsp cream
Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
Beat butter and sugar together until light and creamy. Add egg yolk.
Sift baking cocoa and flour and stir into mixture. Knead mixture lightly, shape into a ball then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Roll out between sheets of baking paper and cut out stars with a medium-size star cutter.
Place on oven trays and bake for 12 minutes. Cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
