Choc chip fun faces muffins
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (25g) Baking Cocoa
- 1 3/4 cups (260g) self raising flour
- 60 g butter, chopped
- 1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar
- 1 cup (190g) White choc bits
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup (125mL) milk
- 1/2 cup 25mL) water
Icing:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Decoration:
- 1/2 pkt (125g) Milk Choc bits
- 24 smarties
- 6 SNAKE lollies, cut in half
- 12 Freckles, cut in half
- 6 Fruit Tingles, cut in half
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan forced. Line 12-hole (1/3-cup/80mL) muffin pan with paper cases.
Sift Baking Cocoa and flour into a bowl; rub in butter. Add sugar, White Choc Bits, eggs, milk and water, mix well.
Divide mixture among paper cases; bake 15-20 minutes until cooked through when tested with a skewer; turn out onto wire rack to cool.
To make icing: combine icing sugar, milk and butter; spread evenly over tops of muffins.
Decorate to make faces, as pictured using Milk Choc Bits, Smarties, Snakes, Freckles and Fruit Tingles.
