Euphoric Recipes Using Ice Cream

OBVIOUSLY ice cream is, in itself, a complete food group, and with the ever increasing range of flavours available you could almost create a balanced diet from it – kale ice cream anyone?!

To celebrate our love of icecream, we’ve put together this list of yum & fun recipes featuring Ben & Jerry’s new Moo-phoria ice cream range, which is light on fats, calories and sugar it’s now even sweeter to dig into a bowl of your favourite sweet treat at 150-160 cals per serving! Still full of swirly tasty chunks and organic milk and cream the new Moo-phoria range is made using Fairtrade certified vanilla and sugar like all Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

Check out these recipes to extend your ice cream repetoire because sometimes eating it straight from the container isn’t enough!

Caramel Cookie Sweet Potato Toast Topper

Caramel Cookie Sweet Potato Toast Topper

Obviously the inclusion of sweet potato (kumara) in this recipe means you could argue it is suitable as a main course.  Simply cook the kumara in the toaster and then top with Caramel Cookie Fix, a vanilla light ice cream with shortbread cookies and a salted caramel swirl, and garnish with blueberries, pistachio and a drizzle of salted caramel.

I loved, when I was younger and still do now, getting an ice cream from the dairy and having it chocolate dipped! That taste! Oh yum!

I would have never thought of using ice cream to make bark. We love ice cream. And my youngest adores Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough one. Our favourite way to eat it is pretty boring though – just a scoop in a bowl. No sauces or toppings haha

Firstly, thank you for confirming what we all had suspected for a long time, that ice cream is a complete food group! I have never tried Ben & Jerry’s ice cream but I have heard good things, these recipes look fantastic and I will save them for the warmer weather!

Wow. The bark looks good. Looks easy to do as well. The presentation is good too. Bookmark for when we have family and friends over.

The ice cream bark looks pretty amazing. My favourite way to eat ice cream is as a home made ice crream cake with a cheesecake type biscuit base then topped with berries, nuts and chocolate ganache.

My favourite way to eat ice cream would be in a waffle cone. I also love it with a hot chocolate brownie when it is like the hot then cold and you eat it together. It’s absolutely delicious 😋

I have never tried ben and Jerry’s Ice creams so maybe by trying these ice creams in the recipes it will be great. My kids love ice cream so much. Our favourites is quite simple though just normal ice cream with a sauce on top or with apple crumble and sticky date puddings yummy. Love the sound of the bark recipe though.

I love home made ice cream! I use a simple recipe using eggs, sugar, cream and vanilla, then just add say flakes of dark chocolate or berrys or whatever. It’s really yum and super easy! Those smoothie pops look delish!! 🙂
