Choc rainbow squares
Ingredients
- 125 g butter, melted
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp Baking Cocoa
- 3/4 cup self raising flour
- 1 cup Milk Choc Bits
- 100 g Smarties
Method
Preheat oven to 180C. Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper.
Combine butter, sugar and egg. Stir in coconut, then sifted Baking Cocoa and flour.
Spoon into prepared tin and bake 15-17 minutes until just firm when touched.
Sprinkle Milk Choc Bits over the cake, then sprinkle over the Smarties. Press down lightly with the back of a wooden spoon.
Return to the oven for 5 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan then cut into squares to serve.
