Build baby vocabulary

Using language a baby understands is important but what is more important than that is using the right language. Now, we are not talking about a foreign language here, just the correct wording. For example, a cow is not a moo-moo and a dog is not a woof!

What you need:

Number of players:

Activity:

Speak to your baby and do it often. It may seem like they are not understanding you but believe it when you hear they are like sponges.

Point out everything to your baby and use its correct name. For example a cup. Point to it and call it a cup rather than juice.

Use songs to indicate body parts like Heads and Shoulders or use baby massage as a way or teaching body parts by naming every part you are about to massage to your baby.

Always mimic your baby's sounds as they know what they are saying. This will encourage more language and a certain confidence.
