Have an outdoor bath

Children love playing in pools, splashing around in the water. Turn your play pool into an outdoor bath and your kids will have heaps of fun using their imagination to create watery games while getting clean. 

What you need:

• Outdoor pool
• Plastic containers or cups

Activity:

Fill up your children's outdoor pool with water. You may want to add some hot water into the pool as well and perhaps even bubble bath.

Add bath toys and any plastic utensils or containers you have such as cups and plates.
 
Let your kids use their imagination to come up with ways to play in the water.

Notes:

• Water play is loads of fun and really encourages open-ended imaginative play.
• Bringing the bath outdoors will bring a new dimension to water play – you can add small stones, leaves and flowers to the bath water to be used as new bath toys.
