Stained glass heart

Stained glass heart

The stained glass heart is a super easy, kid-friendly craft project to enjoy. You will need to help a little with the sticky paper, but otherwise watch your little one create this gorgeous stained glass heart this Valentine’s Day!

What you need:

  • Tissue paper (red and pink)
  • Contact adhesive paper
  • Scissors
  • Holepunch
  • String

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Tear tissue paper into small pieces or cut into bits.

Peel back the backing from your clear adhesive paper and scatter the tissue pieces over the surface. Overlapping the pieces is fine and can be very pretty!

Carefully fold over the adhesive paper, sandwiching the tissue pieces between the contact.

Press out any air bubbles as best you can.

Draw a heart on the contact and cut it out. If you have room for more hearts, cut out as many as you want.

Punch a hole in the middle of the top of the heart.

Thread some string through and make a loop so you can hang your heart up in the window to display it.
