    Broccoli, pea and pear puree

    Serves:

    Ingredients

    • 3-4 florets of broccoli
    • 1/2 cup of peas
    • 1 ripe pear

    Method

    In a saucepan of boiling water, place the broccoli and peas and cook until soft – around five minutes.

    Peel and deseed pear and chop roughly.

    Strain vegetables and reserve a little water.

    Place vegetables and pear in a blender and puree until smooth, using a little of the reserved water for a better consistency.

    Wash the broccoli and place in a microwave-safe container with the peas.

    Cover with plastic wrap, leaving a corner uncovered to let steam escape, and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes. Rearrange and cook again for another minute if required.

    Place vegetables and pear in a blender and puree until smooth, using a little bit of water if required
